is this the first house in the project or... really can we expect there to remain open space all around this house?
The location is the "C" course at Springfield Golf. There's a few larger homes on this 9 holes but it's more remote and therefore you can expect developments to occur very slowly over time. In fact I would be more concerned about security with this location being on the C course rather than the A and B courses at Springfield which are much closer to the clubhouse. However the pricing of this house is quite good as there's some older mansions on the C course that were for sale at more than 60MB.
@@MarkRobert-BKK my wife said the same thing - about worrying about safety if too isolated. as-is this place seems really nice if the immediate surroundings don't crowd in like most house projects

The view is great indeed. Beautiful and green!. The interior and the materials on the other hand I don’t like at all, but that’s a matter of taste of course. I have probably seen too many beautiful Bali houses…

You can buy condos and maybe sort out some company that can own a house but it sounds less than desirable. Or put it in your Thai wife’s name, as long as you trust her 😂

Where is the house in Hua Hin? I couldn’t find the location mentioned
At 0:38 Gim mentions the proximity to Springfield Golf Course. If you google that you will see that it is west of the main bypass highway (probably 15 minutes west of the main highway). Or you could select a midpoint between Hua Hin and Cha-am and then look about 15 km west and it would be in that vicinity.

Sounds to be close to a noisy main road
The road adjacent to Springfield Course 'C' gets few vehicles only as it is somewhat remote.
So when did Thailand get as expensive as the US?? The place is nice but not worth the Price !!
Where in the U.S. are you buying a new home with 3 bedrooms 3 baths, 2 kitchens, and an in-ground swimming pool for $360k? You must live in a very very poor area if $360k is a lot of money for a home.

Foreigners have always been allowed to own freehold properties in Thailand. However, you do need the money to be able to make a purchase.
Anywhere near urban Bangkok and a property like this would be 10 - 20 times this amount. That's Hua Hin, which is between 2 - 3 hours from Bangkok, doesn't provide many opportunities for jobs to either foreigners or even Thais. Hence, the 'relatively' low cost real estate market.
