Reminds me of an old Playboy Magazine cartoon. Picture in your mind's eye, African natives gathered around a huge cooking pot. Inside the pot as a fire heated the water, was a female missionary whose head (with worried expression) was sticking out, still wearing a traditional safari-style pith helmet. This image came to mind, only with Michelle in her hot tub wearing a pith helmet!
Starting to worry a little about Steve's safety. Just connecting the dots here. A Witches cauldron, an axe and firewood. I hope she doesn't boil the poor guy in it. js 😆
Very astute observation. I forget the lines of the three witches in Macbeth; something like, "fire burn and cauldron bubble..."...LOL There is classic drama being acted out here once again. But she is so cute!
I used to work for NYC (retired), our in house painters were all Union and highly skilled. Their ladder choice was little giant with all the attachments. What a versatile tool that is. Extensions on legs for ground and stair adjustments. The ladder folded and planks make it a sturdy platform and to many other parts to hold tools and step off a ladder onto a work step while ladder is raised and so on. You might want to consider one, they are great, maybe a sponsorship pitch will get you one. Enjoy and lucky Steve, a girl who not only helps around the house but can build one, lol.
If you really want to clean up the Tub and make it a bit safer. Add some river sand (even fine gravel will work) in the bottom of the hot tub. When in there rub the sand around and the tub it will really clean up and it gives you a layer to stand on that isn't steal. I built something like this for my sister the sand is key. Great job on the project.
I spent a good 25 years working in the bush and now am retired in wine country in Naramata BC....I always enjoyed being in the bush and became adept at being comfortable in my natural surroundings be it in a wall tent, sleeping under a canoe or in an open lean-to. I do miss the camping experience and the independence it offered not only physically but spiritually as well. I really enjoy watching your videos.....
The solitude of solo camping is a canvas for self-reflection. This video paints a vivid picture of the solo overlanding experience, where every mile brings a new chapter of personal exploration.
I know that this is a late comment as i have only recently discovered your channel. A few years ago i made almost an identical hot tub . Three upgrades i would recommend , i welded some steel plate to the base to make it more stable , i welded six inch steel lip around the top edge and covered it with wood. It made an insulated shelf for drinks etc and a seat to assist getting in and out. it also stops water overflowing from the tub putting the fire out. I welded a short length of pipe to a hole just above the air gat at the base and fitted a brass faucet to make draining and cleaning it out easier. I really enjoy seeing you taking on the various projects.
I truly love you making so many comfy spots on your property for you and Steve. Multiple uses with everything you make is the way to go. The trail is looking really good.
In a world where woodchucks ponder and girls dream, A tale of mischief, laughter, and a hot tub scheme. The woodchuck scratched its furry head with glee, For the woodshed's lack of wood, you see. A girl, adventurous, her heart aflutter, Decided the woodshed's fate to utterly shutter. "No logs for me," she declared with pride, "I'll camp here, with a shelf, by my side." With determination, she toiled away, Crafting a shelf for her human array. But then, a wild idea took its hold, A wood fire hot tub, daring and bold! She found an old truck wheel, rusty and round, And a quarter of a propane tank she found. With tools and sparks, she set the stage, For a hot tub adventure, fit for an age. But the woodchuck, with its wisdom profound, Recalled a tale that did astound. Three ducks, in a 118-degree brew, Sank without a trace, oh, how they flew! The next day, as the sun took its bow, The woodchuck returned, its heart aflutter now. The girl, packing up, had made amends, The woodshed stocked, to its very ends. So, the moral of this tale, you see, Is that woodchucks and girls can both agree, A woodshed filled with wood, that's good, As much wood as they both ever could!
What about Bears, Bobcats, Mountain Lions, Coyotes and Timber Wolf's ? Oh don't forget those Chipmunks getting you at night.🤣🤣🤣 I see at 24 : 08 on the video that you have a large swimming pool on the right !
There was a subtitle card which says the water temperature was 106 C (at 20:55)! It should have said "106 °F". It must be a little confusing being a Canadian! Celsius for temperature but feet and inches for measuring.
Hi Michelle!! You amaze me with your spur of the moment ideas.. you so remind me of my wife your heads constantly spin and you can’t sit still… Loved the video and the music.. You made my day a little brighter 😊
So many talents, Hot Tubs-r-Us, Woodsheds-R-US, Tiny Cabins-R-US. When you feet came off the ground splitting wood it reminded me of splitting large hardwood logs and how one needed just a little more energy in the axe. Thank you for sharing.
You cracked me up with that smile on your face when you first got into that tub at the 6:20 mark in the video. I love watching you and Steve work together, It warms my heart!
Hi Michell, good morning. I told you, your MSA-140 Stihl chainsaw, would become your go to saw. Our friends had a large broken limb. Took my Greenworks battery chainsaw over and in no time, we cut it down, love not having to gas and pull starting saw. I had a total shoulder replacement last year and want to keep it working well. My friends are buying an electric chainsaw they were so impressed. Through this week went by fast, it’s not Sunday morning having my coffee watching you, but Wednesday. Keep up the great videos always enjoy your projects, weather is good her so will finish up decks staining this week. Stay safe and well.
“What’s for dinner tonight dear?” “Trying to decide to have boiled Michelle or stewed Michelle” Love the way you jump on the down swing of your splitting ax.
Watching you chop that wood really strikes one as being a highly efficient (complete) power transfer from your body to the axe. A thing of wonder and beauty. And, it is clear you need a heavier axe because you could clearly push it harder. I just love your mysterious smirk as you were coming up with and completing your plan for a hot tub.
Hi Michelle and Steve! Michelle sometimes the best way to describe something is "cool". That whole setup was cool. I really loved it. Your zest for life and living is so inspirational and motivating. TY both for those blessings! God bless and much love in Christ! ~John
I'm late on commenting on this video but i just wanted to say how much i noticed your excitement of this whole episode! I've seen that look before in myself so from one woman to another, i was so happy that YOU were so happy to be out there experiencing a camp out in your wood shed and new 'hot tub'...so cool! Plus i have to say....has ANYONE watched a woman chop wood like this? Omg Michy, you are so full of talent, work ethic, videographer, animal lover.....i could go on and on but let me just say you're my hero. I watch a lot of RUclips videos and you are simply above and beyond the rest. Thanks for all you do for your audience.
You and Betty are just alike. For your size, you both have a lot of power! That's a nice little place to have a cabin and camp. I enjoyed the video very much and all of the projects and journeys you take us on. Thank you so much for sharing. MEMENTO VIVERE!
If you put a hose water faucet on the bottom of it toward you can drain it. You can also put a quick connect on the bottom of it to where you can put a female quick connecting to it and hook it up to it and fill it up from the water pump that you have from the Creek.
I find these vids hilarious: yeah I’ll make a simple wood shed and a “basic wood fired hot tub” for my overnight, I’ll just need someone to weld it together and bring it down with the bobcat. 🤣
Michy, I built the same type of structure out by my pool in Southern California, and sleep in it all the time, I love listening to the crickets and the pool waterfall makes it even better. I watch your videos and honestly have huge respect for your construction skills. Sell some merch or just shirts I would buy it to support your channel.
As I continue to watch your wood shed camp experience I was have a cup of coffee and nearly choked on it when you mentioned your meal for the evening was a squash and bean meal that 'wasn't real a camping type meal'. But hey, it was some leftovers that you had to eat. Everything looks so cozy at the campsite. Don't boil yourself in the hot tub....
Loved the wood shed camp out. Lots of work but your stay was very homey and could tell you were tickled pink in that hot tub. Such a fun outing to not think about reality for a minute. Loved the ride on the forest trail on the ATV. Thanks for sharing your creations with us. Cheers!
Thanks for letting us spend the day and evening with Michelle. I used to camp a lot and came away from your video with that same relaxed refreshed feeling I used to have once I got home. Amazing that you are able to convey that with how you film and edit. Love your videos
Once again Michy you amaze us you know that 98% of woman would not do what you do an the way you an steve support each other Just make's most of us envious an we wish you two the very best future love you guy's !!!

Just awesome, you are so creative ☺️ looks like that bobcat comes in handy a lot . Love your channel you’re my favorite notification. Have a great day 😊☕️☕️
Holy crap, that thing is cool! Awesome idea. Might be a good gag to chuck in a bunch of carrots and potatoes next time you use it. Maybe have Steve dance around it whooping and hollering. Maybe talk him into tying a bone into his hair.
"Don't be fooled by her size she has got some power" You could be talking about Betty or that description could easily be used about you! I swear Michelle you are like a busy Beaver with all you neat inventive DIY.
106°C? That was funny! 🥵🤣 Regardless of what that structure is used for, camping, firewood, tool shed, it looks amazing! You make cool shit, lady! Thanks, MG!
Michy, Watching you chop wood now on your site as you prepare your firewood for the night at the new wood shed. I must say that you swing a mean axe. It is impressive to see you do your projects and how you try to use materials at hand and make you own wood products. Good luck with your site and I'm sure that you will always have a list of projects to tackle.
Bonjour Steve et Michelle. a different time, but the same BC station. i must say Michelle you split wood like a pro. what an adventure. sleeping to the sound of a creek, a hearty stew to eat, a jar of wine and a hot tub made with love. nicely done Michelle. enjoy the rest of your week. cheers
Get a couple of those "pool noodles" and place them around the top edge of your tub there. Should make for a bit more comfortable place for your neck when soaking. I love this spot. Such a nice little area to spend time relaxing.

Carrots, onions, potatoes, squash and turnips. Definitely some salt, Steve is too sweet.

I love that your hot tub drink holder/ end table / nightstand is a hunk of firewood 🙂🤣
No Fear in you! Brave being living life! Bravo!!! Nothing says brave more than 60's elevator Music!
Bless you and Steve, you both have a blessed and wonderful week 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wow, Michelle, that looks really nice. You and Steve did a wonderful job on that hot tub. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you.
One little trick that might save you some power: if you use the hose to siphon the water out of the hot tub instead of pumping it. Looks like fun!
Bluetti is on the way. Woo hoo!
Wooo hoooo!!! You’ll love it!
I kept looking for Witch Hazel to come out of the woods and start chopping vegetable into that hot tub with you. LOL

Recalled a tale that did astound.
Three ducks, in a 118-degree brew,

The woodchuck returned, its heart aflutter now.

Yes - we have a large swimming pool that is a lot of work! 🤦🏻♀️

Thanks for the Bluetti deal. I'm reminded of the boiling frog story when I see you in the tub. I hope the soup is good.
Hi Michelle!! You amaze me with your spur of the moment ideas.. you so remind me of my wife your heads constantly spin and you can’t sit still… Loved the video and the music.. You made my day a little brighter 😊
Nice job! The tub can also double as a wok to make stir-fry for 200.

You have an incredible mind. Your ideas are truly inspiring. Steve is. Lucky man. Keep the videos and ideas coming.
Man I just want to sandblast that tub so bad and paint it for you. Bluetti's home solution just came out, I'm doing it once it gets sold in Colorado.
I think these videos of you-- and Steve-- camping are some of my favorites. It looks like so much fun and being outdoors is so relaxing.

Thank you Michelle for another wonderful video, you and Steve have a beautiful property. Thanks once again have a wonderful week.
You and Betty Bluetti are just alike , “don’t let her size fool you , She has plenty of power ! “ LOL 😂
Yes! Just like back home on the navajo reservation.....everyday.
What a truly remarkable and inspiring person you are. Kudos on this one Michelle. Hello to Steve, and thank you!

Your hippy hot tub turned out to be the perfect Mitchy size. Thanks for the episode.
Super hard working...and adorable!! A rare find...
The big sigh said it all. Looked very relaxing.
Seeing you stir the water make me remember movies I used to see about cannibals. lol
I don't understand how telegram works. @official_Michygoss

20:57 at 106 C you're way tougher than I thought 😅. Water boils at 100 🔥🔥🔥
It’s a mistake! I meant F 🤪
@@michygoss7148 the world would be a much simpler place if we could all use the metric system 🤣, coming from an American 🤣
Reminds me of old comic strip pictures of Africans cooking a missionary/explorer in their cookpot. 😅
Steve is the best. It's my favorite watching him tolerate taking direction from the director.
😂😂😂
Steve is like the king he can do anything, fix boats it doesn't even matter. (No this will be better classic.)
I remember Old Dutch potato chips from my younger years living in Minnesota. Those and Schlitz beer were 2 favorites from where I grew up.
As I continue to watch your wood shed camp experience I was have a cup of coffee and nearly choked on it when you mentioned your meal for the evening was a squash and bean meal that 'wasn't real a camping type meal'. ... That was Michy Madness "So Cool" .. So original ..
Tub looks like the old time cannibal cooking pot in cartoons and on postcards...🤣👍
Cozy…so peaceful…ahhh!😌
Add some carrots and celery, maybe a little onion. Salt and pepper to taste. And a full size Michelle and Michy stew is ready. Yum.
Nice work lady, I look forward to see what you come up with next. So yes, you are an impressive person and lovely to boot.
Michy, I wish I was there to keep turning you in the boiler so you don't get under cooked! Good job, tks for the video. Be safe and well!
Loved the wood shed camp out. Lots of work but your stay was very homey and could tell you were tickled pink in that hot tub. Such a fun outing to not think about reality for a minute. Loved the ride on the forest trail on the ATV. Thanks for sharing your creations with us. Cheers!
love the little jump before the axe fell
I like how you get that little hop going while splitting the logs.
Thanks for letting us spend the day and evening with Michelle. I used to camp a lot and came away from your video with that same relaxed refreshed feeling I used to have once I got home. Amazing that you are able to convey that with how you film and edit. Love your videos

I just pulled something in my lower back trying to wash skunk off my dog. That hot tub looks perfect.
run a hose up stream for a power free refill on your tub. Maybe a micro-generator in the creek for power!! Just dreaming lol. Love these videos!!
if air comes to the ground, for the hottub
it is cooler,
wood burns better because cold air pushes hot air,
but the air is more humid,
by burying the burner and making a trench for the wood, and the air,
you make it more discreet,
and allows the air to dry before entering the burner
- with a bed of small heated flat stones, on trench ground, and under burner maybe
Just awesome, you are so creative ☺️ looks like that bobcat comes in handy a lot . Love your channel you’re my favorite notification. Have a great day 😊☕️☕️

Michy you are the first person other than my dad that I’ve seen split wood like that and that’s how I do it also🙂
... I would love to see Steve's face when you come up to him and say "Hey,, I've got an idea" ...
Michelle, you're reminding me of all the wonderful nights I spent out in the woods camping out. Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙃🙂
classy night at the creek
Thanks for bringing us along. Glad that the hippie hot tub was enjoyable. It was a relaxing video to watch. 🙋♂️🐈🐈
That hot tub reminds me of those old cartoons with the pygmies and the Safari people( Daffy Duck) in the big soup pot over the fire.
use a pool noodle on the rim of the hippy hot tub so as to rest your neck more comfortably !!
Interesting experiment
Great moments for a peaceful day
Yr lucky to have Steve 🥰🥰🥰🥰Steve yr a wonderful and loving guy hats off to u🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💙🙏🏼
Ketchup chips are my favorite!!!!!! Who is with me??
I'm reminded of when I was a kid and reading about the captives in the cannibals big cooking pot , lol
"Don't be fooled by her size she has got some power" You could be talking about Betty or that description could easily be used about you! I swear Michelle you are like a busy Beaver with all you neat inventive DIY.
Yes a bonus video Loved it ❤Have a wonderful day everyone 📹👍👌😉
What a beautiful property you two have! Incredible.
106°C? That was funny! 🥵🤣
Regardless of what that structure is used for, camping, firewood, tool shed, it looks amazing! You make cool shit, lady!
Thanks, MG!
Michy,
Watching you chop wood now on your site as you prepare your firewood for the night at the new wood shed. I must say that you swing a mean axe. It is impressive to see you do your projects and how you try to use materials at hand and make you own wood products. Good luck with your site and I'm sure that you will always have a list of projects to tackle.
I am so proud of everything you do on this channel.
Thank you !
Besides you could build new sawhorses for the main cabin since you know how to make it once you have the raw materials again.
Absolutely awesome!!!! Wooo woooo! Love that lil hippy tub!
The "stirring" of the water cracks me up
Hot tub at every location. Must be getting chilly at night up in the north country. Thanks for sharing, that Steve always willing to help out.
dude that battery and solar panels are so dope exactly what I need
I admire your enthusiasm! That tub looks really unstable--best of luck!
That was a cool little hot tub, using that noodle girl.. love it
For 110 volts it puts out 16 amps . That's good 😊
Mid week Michy! Gotta' love it!! Love the hot tub. 😊😊
Bonjour Steve et Michelle. a different time, but the same BC station. i must say Michelle you split wood like a pro. what an adventure. sleeping to the sound of a creek, a hearty stew to eat, a jar of wine and a hot tub made with love. nicely done Michelle. enjoy the rest of your week. cheers
Thanks William! I wish you the same! 💝
Get a couple of those "pool noodles" and place them around the top edge of your tub there. Should make for a bit more comfortable place for your neck when soaking. I love this spot. Such a nice little area to spend time relaxing.
