We did it in less than a week, and now it is all ready for my brother to move in when he gets home

If your stuff has never been used in a year get rid of it. Trust me paying for storage unit is just a money waster.

You better plug the extension cord hole with steel wool and spray foam, mice won’t chew on steel wool, also the solar like cord hole with caulk or there will be bees and all manner of creepy crawling insects.

That's looks wonderful! Also it's so cool that it was completed in a short amount of time! On a side note, blows my mind how many people think it's okay to offer unsolicited advice on what they think you need to do about various aspects of your property, resources, and belongings, etc. Just wow
The great thing about advice is you can take it or leave it. Read the tips and then adopt them or toss them, no harm done. At least that is how I see it. If the tipsters are mean-spirited, block them!
I think it's wonderful. The transformation is amazing. If your brother doesn't end up being there long term, you hv a money maker. I think you did a terrific job.

My brother will only be here for the summer and we were trying to get this done fast for when he got home so that’s why we didn’t insulate it!

In the video I did say we would be sealing everything up. My brother will only be here for the summer so he won't need heat.
@@awesomeniecy9242 It is not always hot here in Virginia. It can be bitter cold at times, 5 F. Sometimes Summer comes early, and sometimes the Winter comes early and stays late. Just depends.
I would add a mini fridge and a porta potty if he has to go badly, and doesn't want to wake anyone up in the house..

Since mice wee and poo through everuthing, I really don't think it's safe to drink from the coffee machine that was in there. It's not worth the bacteria or diseases carried.

Was hoping for a real tiny house, per the title, but...just a place to put a bed. Oh well, hope he's comfy. Would be nice to have a Luggable Loo at least, in case he needs it during the night.

Yeah I like the solar panel/light too. Wondering how long it lasts before needing more sun?!
I'm a probably get 3 of the portable solar generators that sell for about $600 and open up like a suitcase so that I always had.
Stand By in the event that there wasn't Sun but I like about that solar panel that I'm referring to is. It is a pass through meaning it will accept energy from the sun while you are using it.

Don't know where you guys live, but that set up might work for the summer, but won't work for the winter if you are up north. A roll or two of insulation and some cheap paneling might have made it weather worthy for all year. Cute setup, however!
My brother won’t be here in the winter so we didn’t have to worry about that!

I wish you'd turn me into a tiny house.
Please do not put in storage... because you never look at it again or go and get anything....I know I paid a year and never went to the unit again, so finally it all went to good will.
We use a lot of the stuff that was put into storage we just use it seasonally like our winter clothes, air conditioners, and camping gear ✌️
Would have been easier to have brother stay in storage
