Nice to see you again, I watched you build a tiny house 8 years ago! In fact, my name is under the shower enclosure, you were putting your subscriber's names on the wall! I know you are a great tiny house builder from watching you build a tiny house when they were not as numerous as they are now! You did a great job back then and I see you are showing us once again!
So cool, thanks for hanging around so long!! Hope to do more build videos for you. Very cool that your name is part of the build. Hard to believe how fast that 8 years went by....
It's fun to build something. I enjoyed watching the video. Makes me want to build a 3rd shed. Lol. I built both of mine from scratch. Mine is 12 by 16 and I built my wife a she shed that is 8 by 16. Hers is for storage and mine is a man cave, I hang out in there for hours. I got all my tools and riding mower in there, and my collection of yard sale finds.
Excellent. Use a sprayer to paint the interior after caulking, and all baseboard and trim before installation. It's saved me 1000's of hours over the years and a ton of money in labor.
I helped my daughter build a 700 sq. Ft. Tiny house in Calif. On her girlfriend’s property. It has gas (propane), electrical done underground from the main house, shingled roof, bath, tankless water heater, LVP, barn sink, windows, closet and all the amenities. We need to insulate under and skirt it and put a deck/porch in the front. We spent $40,000 which is nothing in Calif. Raised floor no slab. It’s in a small town and the whole town donated stuff, sink, fridge, oven barn sink, windows, propane tank, and new roof shingles. That helped a lot. She loves it. Her monthly cost is $150 for electricity.
Respectfully, 700 sq feet is definitely not a tiny house. lol It's a small house, but it's not a tiny. Tiny houses are less than 500 sq ft, and that makes them illegal in many communities. Anything over that is a standard size house. Where I live in California, 700 sq feet is a normal sized house, and it would cost about $700,000, possibly more. Most of the houses where I live would be a tear-down and rebuild if it cost under $800k, that's how expensive the land is here. I'll even give you an address on zillow you can look up to confirm what I'm saying is true. Go to Google and type in this address and you'll see an home 780 sq ft (but not new, it was build in 1908, 113 years old) for $700K 1606 Derby St, Berkeley, CA Also notice there are *no interior photos* which means it's a hot mess in there, which is why they are mostly tear downs. Your daughter is so fortunate to have a NEW home for so little in California! Your daughter is so lucky she has a girlfriend who is generous enough to allow her to build on her property because when you look at the tax assessments in Cali, almost all the value is in the land. The structure costs about the same here as it everywhere else, maybe slightly more because of permit costs and labor, but not that much more. I wish your daughter many happy years in her new "small" home! It sounds like the community rallied around her to, which is love in today's world~
Thanks for sharing this video. You answered so many questions about how to do the shed insulation and how to save money on supplies. Have a wonderful new year in your new space. 🥰🎁🥰🎁🥰🎁

Your work is excellent and easy to follow. I was disappointed because the title says to tiny house. To me a house has electricity and plumbing. It is a functioning upgraded shed. It is not a house. But again your work is about the best i have seen on RUclips. Thank you for sharing Oh it would also have been nice to know at the least the approximate cost of your build. I think you did a wonderful job of being cost efficient with your materials. Only because you used the word cheap in your title i was wondering what things cost. 😊
Very true, thanks for watching. If you check out my tiny house build, it had a kitchen, bathroom, and I added up every receipt. Was about 9 years ago so they u would have to adjust for inflammation...
