Gonna save this video for later, gonna buy a Rovan Baja 5b (hopefully) in this year , Maybe this video will come on handy thx,, Will love to see more Baja videos
Wondering if you can help. I change my octane from 87 to 91 with my Losi 5t. I ran yesterday and believe it burned my spark plug out. I didn’t adjust any needle. Left at specs out of box. Should I lean out maybe that why it burned spark plug
Sounds like idle screw adjustment is needed :-). The throttle trim at neutral is likely where it should be to keep the car idling, but when you hit the brakes, it moves past this point and the engine stalls. Bring the idle up with the screw on the carby and it should be fixed.

Has the air filter been regularly cleaned?
Just dusted off my HPI Baja and it still runs but noticed when I slow down the Baja, motor shuts off. Any suggestions?

Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤ im so happy
Awesome!
Are those the best settings for the best performance on a Walbro 990 carb? Great video by the way !! Thanks alot
These are the best place to start - every engine is different :-)
What about the idle screw
There's no real factory setting, but about halfway (so the throttle lever is just resting on it) is good.
Idle screw should just barely touch/move the shaft from what I've understood. After that use the needles to get it to run right
Would those setting be the same on a 45 cc ?
Every engine is different, this is just a good place to get it started and running - you fine tune from here.
