This is the best way to introduce a kit. I'm getting one just because of this video. it's exciting to see a kit coming to life in just a few minutes. Great sales pitch by Meng!!! They hit a homer with this one!!! All other kit makers should follow their lead!
I got mixed feelings about it. Surely it is THE BEST introduction/promotion video I have even seen -- the details and the procedures (oyi, would be nice to including some basic paintings) demonstrated. The complexities/levels of details shown may attract some but could also scare away some (I am leaning toward the latter camp :-( given my blurry eyesight and shaky fingers ). Seconds in the video should be scaled to be minutes in real-life and we are not even talking about detailings. Again, an 11/10 (extra 1 for bonus) for showing people what you get in the box. Good JOB. This model is an arm and shoulder above what Dragon provides. Now I need to dump the Dragon one I have...
I have a question. Would you guys consider Meng/TAKOM model kits for beginners? They fit very well, it seems, but there's many parts (as learned from when I built the Char 2C).
Собрал такую модель. Получилось очень хорошо. Единственное что МЕНГУ надо доработать так это гусеницы. Траки между собой очень слабо держаться. Надев с большим трудом их на катки пришлось их соединения проклеивать. В остальном при определеной сноровке все получилось. Даже цепи из фототравления приклеил. Считаю что модель разработана и отлита на 5-. Шилка от фирмы Драгон по качеству и проработке хуже.
