I’ve only ever played the first Halo Wars, I remember having a fuck tonne more ODST’s on the field at once and throwing troopers at the ground in droves. This feels way tamer in quantity.

7:54 The shields dont come back because each bar represents one elite. So, 4 bars of shield is technically a full health squad with 4 elites.
It's Like how in grunt squads the grunts die before the elite, its lore accurate :D
I did this in Halo Wars 1 a few times. Once I had maxed out everything, I just made an entire army of just ODST squads and swarmed the enemy base.
That's the best way to kill a scarab in halo wars 1, just surround it with odst squads faster than it can kill them.
It's more viable in HW1 cause you can drop more easily
