True. Not more sadder than it's supposed to be tho, knowing what happened to the civilization that lived there makes the music very haunting. Remnants of a civilization lost to time, all you can find of them is the drawings on the walls to tell their stories. This is the perfect song to capture the feeling. Reminds me of the game Journey.
I feel you... Even when I listen to this song with the intent to relax further, the 3:50-4:26 part always reminds me of my own loneliness and other not-so-joyful things (lack of ambition, as well as lack of hope in this world that doesn't seem to have much room, if at all, for hope itself)... At least this song exists and helps to let the emotions come out 😶
@@theRealSlimGordon same. Good OSTs help me immerse to the story. Example: Nier Automata. It's a big factor I consider before buying games, besides gameplay and character design.

My favorite music in the game...I still have Albedo's story quest left and been leaving it as the last one because I want as many things to do in Dragonspine as possible. I love the lore and snow-buried stories on this mountain. I already 100% the exploration of the mountain too. I refuse to use teleport while exploring this mountain every time, I enjoy jogging on the crunchy snow and love Barbara's reaction when it snows. There's a melancholy, yet yearning feeling I get whenever I wonder on this mountain.
@@LittleWhole forgettable? I spent more than a month exploring that place. So dense with environmental puzzles and climbing paths. the quests don't send u there often but that's the same deal for the rest of the map.
By listening to this ost, i feel that Dragonspine has a tragic past. And.. . . . . . . . . . . . I miss Albedo so much xD Edit: OMG thanks for the likes >< And also i have Albedo in my account, but i hope we can see him in another story quest.
if I remembed correctly, Dragonspine was the same climate as mondstadt and even had a civilization established on it (the domain at the peak). It only became snowy when the Skyfrost Nail (presumably from Celestia) fell down on Dragonspine. I think I read this on the Heart of Depth artifact description but I could be wrong.
yep it definitely did have a tragic past. the sal vindagnyr civilization that lived there during the archon war went extinct because of the skyfrost nail, which some theories suggest, was intentionally dropped by the gods because of how they were getting too close to celestia.
@@GeemoCh uhh let’s see. (ADHD nerodivergent brain here) Liyue makes me relaxed, like I could do things and makes my thoughts calm down and allowed me to focus. Dragonspine is very calming. But TLDR is the vibes man Edit: spelling
Hello fellow veteran travelers. Its going 3 years now since we all start our days in Teyvat. I'm in the cold areas in Natlan Mountains(Philippines) while this music plays. A cold striking feeling of being away from home. Hope to see you in the end of our journeys.
Ngl adventuring in Dragonspine really brings out the adventure vibe. we feel unsafe, always cold, always need fire & food, and we can't see a thing. Adventuring elsewhere can;t beat this level of intensity. Gotta love it
T-that's terrifying, but ngl beautiful- as well. Those moments of hopelessness, your death awaiting in a matter of seconds and yet, it all feels surprisingly slow. Tracing back the memories dear to you, slowly losing your senses each by a time, feeling light, going through feelings of peace, contentment, tranquility, and the urge to let go. And finally down goes the curtains of your vision. Wow, this music is awesome, how did I typed those?
@@ProfezorFirdaus You nailed it. They really outdid themselves here, the geography perfectly fits with the lore as well. But i do wish there was a huge place where there is almost nothing but a huge pile of snow as the eye can see, you have to walk through it in the middle of an heavy snowstorm under the dark because of a quest, and it gives the feeling of no matter how long you walk- you're going nowhere, you can't tp as well. It's funny how the soundtrack sounds so gorgeous and peaceful and is sung by a choir of angels dressed in glittering snow crystals but when you hear it in the game you're stressed as hell running from some ice lawachurl trying not to freeze to death :'D

I cant hear the ost over my screaming

Now I went back in at ar55 to finish the puzzles, open chests, and make the tree alive and honest to god it was so refreshing and fun compared to inazuma's balethunder. I finally understood how some players found the sheer cold mechanic fun.
It's because I tried speedrunning it when I was still AR30 😂 I was unprepared. Now that I am, let's say at least I can chill like hecc in that icy mountain, listening to angels singing while I bask in the snow.
Also c1 klee + bennett helps a lot burn the crap out of all the cryo so there's that
