i started tearing up when i heard the first note. im a fan of genshin music, and i usually have playlist playing in the background when i study, and the first note... i knew exactly what it was... and my eyes were filled with tears, it happens everytime, but it reminds me of the power of a good story.
How coincidental! I just finished this part of the archon quest. I played the quest in CN, and watched the cutscene on RUclips with EN version. It was so sad in CN but I think the EN version especially Neuvillette’s voice in EN had more of an impact on me. The way his voice trembled when he declared the Fontainians’ sin to be cleared was simply heartbreaking
EN is underappreciated. Many players shit on it. But we cant deny that Neuv's VA did an amazing job. Also Navia..especially at the start of act 5 where she was on the verge of breaking down and finally did breakdown when she told us of Melus and Silver's death.

I played through this entire Archon quest in one sitting. (I did that with Sumeru but only because I was super paranoid that quitting out would somehow glitch my entire computer into oblivion if I tried leaving a Samsara that way lol). Honestly when it was released I plugged in an HDMI, grabbed popcorn and shut off the lights. I knew it was going to be one hell of an ending I mean performing is literally a huge part of the entire plotline. And the fact that the finale went down on a literal stage made it so worth the several hours of sitting on the floor and emotional trauma that followed. 🤣..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
