That meme needs to stay as a joke, some people are taking it seriously and it’s just wrong. Ammo that might as well be designed to fail is not going to present an accurate depiction of how well a firearm will function, mostly because it’s not providing enough energy to cycle the gun. A flaw in the design or manufacture will present itself with all ammo types. Sorry to actchullee you but it’s important to me to spread helpful information.
@@SpiralUniverse7 He means ammo that is too underpowered (like Tula can be) will not cycle the gun, which is NOT any kind of indicator of the gun's design or manufacture quality.

I just bought my first firearm. The Baretta M9. I thought I wanted a revolver but when I held it for the first time, Everything aligned in the galaxy. The more videos & reviews I watch on the Baretta the more & more I’m anticipating getting it to the range.
I like how big and substantial the M9 feels in the hand, at least in comparison to a glock. Like handguns a little heavier personally, makes recoil lighter and it feels much more stable.
I've always thought the 92FS feels like the classic 9mm Browning HP in the hand but is much smoother on your follow up shots. Both great old weapons, built to last!
@@lazylizard6532 Totally agree, which is why I'd take an M&P over a beretta for constant carry, the large grip, thinner slide, and polymer frame make it a lot friendlier to carry
That modern pistol breakdown has been the Beretta standard since before Glock was a "thing" in firearms talk. I love my Berettas, but real modern handguns are amazing when it comes to full capacity weight and ease of function. I'm just glad Beretta put forth the challenge and it was accepted.
I bought and carried one when I was an armored car guard. My partner hated it because he was an idiot and injured himself while disassembling one when he was in the Army 30 years prior.
Always loved this gun, was in lethal weapon. Die hard, and was the pistol in Max Payne games. Also the stainless full auto berettas in punisher warzone was awesome 👌
Since you're reviewing one of the classic wonder nine pistols, you should take a look at the Browning Hi Power and the CZ75. As a commbloc firearms enthusiast, Brandon would really appreciate the CZ75 since it was designed behind the iron curtain.
The ammo shortage seems to be drawing to a close. Both stores I went to today actually had 9mm and 45ACP. Stopped at Scheels to get some fishing tackle, and left with a 500rd case of 6.5 Grendel
Nah bro, we can only say this when reloading supplies become readily available again. I'll agree, more ammo is being seen on the shelves which is awesome but if someone handloads primers and most powders are still tough to get ahold of. That said, good deal on the 6.5 Grendel score. Maybe some day I'll get my upper to the Grendel's little cousin, 6mm arc. (Only been waiting since November. Ugh)
That's the beauty of having a non typical round. I noticed at the beginning of all this that the odd ball rounds like 6.5 grendel stayed in stock for months after everything else was gone. It made me laugh because most people say "you'll never be able to find any if you need it" but the 9mm, 45, and 5.56 were the first to disappear and stay gone
Brandon: Yeah. I just casually picked up a pistol, a war rifle, and a really special AK The British: I just had to do several hours of paperwork to buy a single shot .410 shotgun #akgnotificationsquad
I fell in love with the Beretta 92FS when I was a kid and I saw it in the movies Lethal Weapon and Die Hard, and then later on in the original Resident Evil games. Now as an adult I'm glad to say that I own one and I am extremely proficient with it.
The beretta92Fs is my favorite model of it for only one reason... The samurai edge. Expertly crafted by Joseph Kendo with each samurai edge mastercrafted and each an absolute piece of art.
@@Evil_Teddy it's a 92FS with a match grade inox barrel, brigadier slide, and beautiful wooden custom grips. Well, Barry's is a 96 with a lot of extra shit and Wesker's has a rail, but cmon we're talkin Chris, Jill, and Rebecca.
One gun I think it would be pretty cool if you could get your hands on is the Swedish K smg, or m/45 as it can also be called, it’d be cool since it was used during the Vietnam war and generally is just a really funky and interesting looking gun and would be a neat thing to own
A classic, solid performing weapon that's been proven in both Battle and Police work. I had the 92FS as a sidearm and never had a single issue with it. Great weapon system that's served excellently from 1975 to the present.
I spent a bit of time with one of those strapped to my hip in the late 90s, usually from 2330 to 0330, every 4 days, and always unloaded, thanks, Clinton. I got pretty good at taking it apart like Jet Li, in Lethal Weapon 4(?) midwatches were so boring...
I was first issued the m9 when i joined the army and owned one before the army, it'll always have a spot in my heart. We ended up switching to the M17 (sig 320)which is ok but i prefer the M9 just a bit more.
Absolutely loved my 92FS. Excellent handgun. With the extra weight it makes it really easy to control even with heavier / overpressure rounds. Very comfortable, nice light trigger pull in single-action, and more than manageable in double-action (only first shot, as the cycling re-cocks it). Excellent safety features as well: falling locking block, safety/decock, it simply WILL NOT fire unless safety's off and trigger is pulled. And I know feelings are mixed on SERPA holsters, but I love my Blackhawk, very secure and my finger resting right on the slide where it belongs. Sadly the 2A doesn't exist here in NY so I am now without :'(
@@thornajal1045 exactly. Had an instructor do everything he could short of flipping the safety, to make it go off. Even threw it across the room. It fires when it should, and that's it. I had no worries carrying it with a round in the chamber.
Unlike tactical Tupperware, when the M9 runs out of ammo, you can still hit the bad guy over the head. Missing with 17 rounds is a different topic for a different day.
Tactical Tupperware for the win! :) And if you miss with 17 rounds, it's time to either get some training, or get a squirtgun so innocent bystanders don't get hurt when you miss.
@@markh.6687 “If you miss with X rounds, time to get some training” sounds exactly like what single stack 1911 owners say when you complain about their 7 round capacity. lol
My son has one, he loves it and shoots it well. I've shot it a couple times, I'm not a handgun guy, only own a few, but I must say I like the trigger after the first shot.
I own a Girsan Regard, a Turkish M9 clone. Everyone seems to say that they can't tell the difference between it and the Beretta M9. I hate 9mm handguns, but this, I found a new dream handgun after being convinced to buy one in FDE and trying it out for the first time. It was simply too smooth and accurate to hate! And while I like my Polish P-64, I just keep coming back to this as my main CC choice.
Every time I hear "if she can't handle steel, she doesn't deserve the brass" I think of those guys who build high compression street engines then wonder why 87 pump gas causes their cars to run like garbage.
@@guyderagisch4964 my guy threw it in there just because it shifts quite a bit softer and less timing helps the mpg a LOT from 13 in town to about 17 so that’s why I kept it
I have a Beretta 92FS from the first run, or Gen 1 for glock lovers, and this is one of my favorite pieces in my arsenal. It is also very accurate at 75 rds. I can hit 1" plates with factory hardware on my M92 at 75 rds, 100 yrds is possible but far more difficult.
Berettas will always have a special place in my heart. My dad loved them so much he bought 2 92s. One black, in 9mm with the Y2K limited edition rose wood grips (only 2,000 made, and his number is “1919” which is also his grandmother birth year) and then he purchased a stainless steel and black one in .40cal which is so beautiful.
It's easy IMO to carry any full size pistol. Handguns are already small, why sacrifice potential reliability for something a little smaller. Plus, a full grip matters to me.
I got a 92fs about 2 years ago. Got it for way below retail because it was "used." The thing was brand freaking new, just used for trade show demo booths.
I didn't become interested in buying one, until I had the opportunity to shoot one. I walked away from the range knowing what gun I wanted, and I still have it, and still love shooting it. It's one of the most accurate designs ever made. Only the SIG 210 is more accurate (an original 210 is way out of my budget). I own 2. A 92AS and an M9, and still love both of them. I carry the M9 in Cold weather. I've bigger than average hands, a 2XL glove is snug, and the Beretta is the only gun I haven't had to put a Hogue sleeve on (or the largest back strap on). I can understand why shooters with smaller hands don't like it. My wife's petite and prefers the P365. Though thinner grip panels are available. I learned to shoot handguns with DA/SA revolvers. I like the striker fired guns, but I'll always have a soft spot for a good DA/SA pistol or revolver.
Legend has it that a mysterious figure sneaks on to the range at night after a video and eats the left over melon pieces and drinks the left over white claw from the ground...
Fantastic production quality. The mix with the music in the beginning to adding all the additional random hit sound effects throughout. Well done editor
Not one to criticize Brandon, but, I carried the M-9 for about 8 years in the USAF (retired) and another 8 years with the Navy (before switching to a Sig 228) for 19 years as a civilian. I was a cop in both places. Unless something has changed, and I own a Baretta 92FS, the magazine capacity is only 15 rounds, and if you top off with one in the chamber, you can get 16. And I love my Beretta for comfort and ease of breaking down cleaning and putting back together,

"If it can't handle the steel, it doesn't deserve the brass" - sometimes steel case and polymer mags(ETS and Magpul Glock mags, for instance) don't play well together, but they'll work in steel body(like stock Glock mags) mags just fine.
Of course it can handle steel case ammo it's a Beretta m92 lol
That meme needs to stay as a joke, some people are taking it seriously and it’s just wrong. Ammo that might as well be designed to fail is not going to present an accurate depiction of how well a firearm will function, mostly because it’s not providing enough energy to cycle the gun. A flaw in the design or manufacture will present itself with all ammo types. Sorry to actchullee you but it’s important to me to spread helpful information.
@@ThomasHendrickson steel cased isn’t designed to fail

Glock carries easier than an M9.
M9 shoots easier than a Glock.
Weight is a trade off.
Yeah the m9 is more of an open carry gun for when you gotta put the plate carrier on.
That modern pistol breakdown has been the Beretta standard since before Glock was a "thing" in firearms talk. I love my Berettas, but real modern handguns are amazing when it comes to full capacity weight and ease of function. I'm just glad Beretta put forth the challenge and it was accepted.

The ammo shortage seems to be drawing to a close. Both stores I went to today actually had 9mm and 45ACP. Stopped at Scheels to get some fishing tackle, and left with a 500rd case of 6.5 Grendel
But what about .22lr?
What used to be the cheap range ammo of choice seems to be rarest of the rare.
@@bandit6272 wasn't looking for it, but I saw a few bricks while I was there.
@@HickLif3 it was part of why I built my Grendel. The other was impressive ballistics and ammo capacity in standard steel mags.

The Samurai Edge is anything BUT a 92FS. Lol, it's basically the Beretta 92 Frankenstein model.

One gun I think it would be pretty cool if you could get your hands on is the Swedish K smg, or m/45 as it can also be called, it’d be cool since it was used during the Vietnam war and generally is just a really funky and interesting looking gun and would be a neat thing to own
This is the gun that comes to mind when i think of a pistol.
Sadly the 2A doesn't exist here in NY so I am now without :'(
The safety on it was what sold me as my pancreas cc. If the safety is on there is no way at all that it can go off.
@@thornajal1045 exactly. Had an instructor do everything he could short of flipping the safety, to make it go off. Even threw it across the room. It fires when it should, and that's it. I had no worries carrying it with a round in the chamber.

The Beretta actually has a fun switch. It's called "safety off".
Wow Brandon is actually hitting targets
Hard to miss with a non shot out m9, I like the Langdon tactical I’ve got.
Okay so I know this might sound crazy but what if, you did a white board of knowledge on the stoner 63.
Believe it or not, this was my everyday concealed carry for a long time. Love that piece. Beefy as hell for CC though.
I love it! Had one as a personal sidearm while I was Active Army, and it remains one of my favorites.
The USCCA ad reminded me of my small town school, we all took gun safety in the 5th grade. Wasnt required, but everyone did it.
