Grenade Launcher + Supply pack has done me a lot of good. You are able to spam Grenades to take out any light and medium infantry in many fights. Easy crowd control and you are mostly independent from your team and the resupply. + Thermite for heavies, autocannon / gatling sentry for extra support against heavier armoured or tons of enemies and then which ever stratagems you could want
Same here! I found if I bring the Lib Penetrator it has a 150m scope so I mark the fabricators with my primary then switch to the Queso cannon without changing my point of aim. I can snipe Fabricators at 300m
My lone Wolf build is centered arround the Commando 500 KG on the Botfront simply because of their short cooldown and utility. The 500 KG can clear small bases and Detector Towers and other objectives while the commando can destroy anything at any distant (turrets, AA emplacments, Fabricators, Factory Striders etc.). Primary weapons are Dilligence Counter Sniper and Dagger (good to clear minefields) or Senator (if you want more punch in close engagments). The other two strategems are Eagle Strafe/Eagle Air strike and the last one is Rocket sentry/Walking barrage /Jet Pack, depending on mission type and Planet. But Commando and 500 KG are absolute King.
I was just perfecting a build very similar to this one, the 'burning angel' i called it, due to it using fire Any light armor (fireproof passive) Cookout to stagger big enemies Senator to 'snipe' with Thermite grenades to slap on hulks and tanks for easy kills Jump pack, flamethrower/EATs (depending on if you hate bugs or bots more), napalm eagle to make a wall of fire, and gatling barrage/orbital precision to have a fast answer to any questions Play by first jump packing across the map amd clearing out red points, then rejoin your squad to flank enemies with your jump pack, staggering scattergun and relatively precise stratagems
personally i prefer a marksman, sneaky role. On both fronts: Scout light armor, thermite grenade, precision strike, jump pack, commando, anti material rifle on bot front: Diligence counter sniper, Jar-5 Dominator, or the Reprimand SMG, Dagger Laser Pistol On bug front: Cookout Shotgun, senator pistol I will peel off to handle side objectives and nests/outposts. But I also ping where my teammates are headed. the intel of approaching enemies can be very helpful to them. If I have line of sight I will provide AMR covering fire.
So for an upgrade to the DSS that would be cool would be a Railgun Storm, every diver gets 1 charge and it takes out like idk 5 heavies in the nearby area or something like that
@BrutusAlbion yea that'd work too, I just figured since the DSS is supposed to be OP in lore and you'd only really get to use the bonus once in awhile, that killing alot of stuff while having only a charge or two would be fair especially on the higher difficulties where you could use it as a panic button. But your ideas pretty cool too.
You got that a little backwards brother. The precision strike actually does one armor rating in damage than the 500. For instance it takes out jammers where a 500 wont
Those Divers who assisted in the construction of DSS are all very much ded from the DSS
Lol this is probably true.
A little orbital bombarding never hurts a true Helldiver!
That moment of you saying "Fuck that Shit" had me on the floor. Keep it up
Thank you!

Love the Intro and the build. Well done!
Thank you! We just have fun here
I've inadvertently been doing this exact thing lol. Except against bots - I bring Quaalude Cannon for easy fabricator sniping.
Oh hell yeah, that's a great pick for the last slot.

Love it mate, been playing something very similar! More so on the bug front but the mobility is great

That intro won’t get old 😂
lol, glad you enjoyed it.
Been waiting for a new build
I was just perfecting a build very similar to this one, the 'burning angel' i called it, due to it using fire
Any light armor (fireproof passive)
Cookout to stagger big enemies
Senator to 'snipe' with
Thermite grenades to slap on hulks and tanks for easy kills
Jump pack, flamethrower/EATs (depending on if you hate bugs or bots more), napalm eagle to make a wall of fire, and gatling barrage/orbital precision to have a fast answer to any questions
Play by first jump packing across the map amd clearing out red points, then rejoin your squad to flank enemies with your jump pack, staggering scattergun and relatively precise stratagems
Medic armor is better by far
personally i prefer a marksman, sneaky role.
On both fronts: Scout light armor, thermite grenade, precision strike, jump pack, commando, anti material rifle
on bot front: Diligence counter sniper, Jar-5 Dominator, or the Reprimand SMG, Dagger Laser Pistol

That seems OP.
What about just getting a free regular railcannon strike at double cooldown so you can spam the fuck out of it
lol I read railgun storm, I just thought of railcannons targeting heavy massive targets on the map for like 3mins straight...

the only thing I don't like about the new jump pack is how much I faceplant trying to stick the landing lol
Lol the amount of times my foot catches a rock and I go tumbling is hilarious
I've been looking at a lot of your videos, you are a jetpack main.
I prefer other backpacks myself.
Ever since the jump pack buff, yeah I've been obsessed.
I would just add the commando. It is so good at taking out distant tower turrets agaisnt bots and the bigger bugs or secondary objectives.
I do love the commando.

I think I was speaking in terms of closing bug holes, the 500kg performs better for me.
Tbf people being terrible at new weapons is par for the course.
Also no ReeRee?
Saving ReeRee for another vid lol
