@IronNomadGaming Honestly I prefer the themed builds. Yours are fun because they are both viable and really enjoyable. I have found I do better if I am enjoying myself and feel comfortable rather than trying to do what other people call optimal
I've beaten difficulty 7 with it, if you bring EATs for heavies and a primary that takes scout striders it's easy to take out infantry, berzerkers and devestators with it
It's far from the optimal pick, definitely, but not suicide. It can still kill devastators fairly quick so long as you aim for the head or the legs, and even the fully armoured striders can be killed by it so long as you hit their exposed rockets before they fire them. And it shreds berserkers even faster than the the regular MG does. The HMG is obviously the best pick due to how versatile it being AP4 is.
@@UnknownSquid Worrying about what's optimal in Helldivers is a waste of time unless you're really determined to play on the hardest difficulty, and even then one shouldn't feel the need to force their opinions on other players.
@@coenisgreat Indeed. Is why I was commenting that it's still plenty usable. Just on the side, something I'd love to see would be for special mission modifiers that the players are informed of, and adjust enemy spawns beyond the normal variations we get. So occasionally you'd come across a mission with something like "Trooper Manufacturing Centre" or something along those lines, which causes the spawns to hugely favour basic Trooper bots rather than the armies of Devastators and Heavies you usually get on D10. I feel like it'd be really fun to fight absurd amounts of light bots occasionally. It'd give weapons like the Stalwart a chance to really shine on a front that it usually gets passed over.
Fun theme. Not practical, but fun. Glad you’re highlighting peak physique, it’s so good and imo even better with the last 2 warbonds. Someday when we get a Kalashnikov, that will be the primary.
My opinion on the player armor situation: Kinda like you said, if the compromise we have to take for having the more powerful weapons is being more fragile ourselves, I'm cool with that. The thing I have a problem with is the feeling that we are back to having very little reason to take medium or heavy armor anymore. Heavy armor only nets you like, a single extra laser hit before dying... So you sacrifice so much speed and stamina, just so you can tank 1 extra shot, but you are getting hit way more anyway cuz you can't outrun the enemy anyway... I think I'm fine with leaving light armor as is, but medium and Heavy armor need to improve relative to light armor in order to give a true reason to make that trade off of stamina and speed worthwhile.
Not just Peaky it HAS to be the Predator for the arms i was messing around with a Rambo loadout and i was thinking Machine Gun (as it can kill more (more pen)), Supply Pack, EAT AND Commando but it was actually really fun using a stratagem that i havnt used since i first started its nice that its still good i might have to give it another go
i tried out something similar with what i own. the build was Eruptor, MAC-10, Stalwart and High explosive. i could use the crossbow but i dont have it yet, the eruptor is simply not a substitute. while more powerful its simply too slow to fill the role you intended, the rapid pistol and stalwart are incredible for emergencies and a "primary" weapon. again, i dont know how good the crossbow is, but the eruptor is incredible against heavy units, while the stalwart is the peak of a "primary" style weapon. as for the other three call in's. you said everything i could. ultimately, its not the best loadout, but a really fun one.
Really fun is the aim of these builds, viable but not always optimized. The crossbow is excellent for those med armor enemies but the rate of fire and mag size leave much to be desired.
@@IronNomadGaming ive done a fair bit of testing with the update and I love it. Given my level in game as 114 though would be nice for it to not crash so often on me.
I kinda disagree about the armor. Light is still king, if I’m going to die in a split second anyway then I’d rather have mobility. Cool build though! I do hope they buff heavy armor again, I was taking it out quite a bit against the bots in previous patches and it felt really good to be able to tank some hits.
@@hyde3401 yeah like id still want headshot dmg reduced but dont touch the other stats. Maybe heavy armor should just be buffed as just running medium with padded does the same thing.

Nah too me heavy machine gun is good to bring cause it deals with all enemy types on full rpm with peak physique added to its handling. it deals with chargers and bile titans by melting their armor. Plus its always fun beating the last one down with your two hands and a couple of knives makes you feel badass. So Stalwart is the only thing id change really. I've used this loadout before so its really good. Its annoying when your teamates dont bring any anti tank on misions they know they need it, so I started making sure my build always have at least one or two.

It is just a secondary so it's up to you. None of them are loadout defining, more so just for flavor or shore up a weakness. Grenade pistol, crisper, redeemer are all good substitutes.
Now I want the DeVito build
We need a stubnose version of the Senator, for when we need to put out the GODDAMN FIRE!

Brings me a smile every time I hear them.
Keep making content, love the videos :) and helldivers is awesome, rambos awesome, and you're awesome!
Lol thank you, I appreciate it.
If you're wearing Peak Physique armor and Supply backpack, you can afford to use the HMG instead of the Stalwart for more AP potential.
This is true, any of the MGs work for this build. I just want to show the stalwart some love.

Looks fun as hell
But would trade the Stalwart to the medium MG on bots. Stagger slightly devastators and has medium pen
Regular MG is better vs the bots you're correct.
Can the regular mg also kill hulks? The heavy one can do that pretty well, ammo sucks so maybe you need a supplypack.
@@aarepelaa1142 Only on the heatsink, but if you set it to max fire rate it does the job fast.
Medium pen will kill eye on hulk less than 10 rounds

If you're using Peak Physique on a Rambo build you want an MG/HMG. You'll be whipping it around as fast as a primary.
Yep, all the MGs fit this build overall with peak physique.
not bringing regular machine gun for bots was insane to me
yeah probably should have swapped that in for the bots, but I did mention any MG will do for this.
