I think even shampooing your hair like once every two days is also good for them as the sebum, if there's not too much, is actually good for hair strength. But it mainly depends on if your hair are rather dry or very oily

But for short hair it does tend to look oilier faster so maybe washing it everyday is a better idea. Again depends on how fast your hair produces oils this really is a case by case basis. Each person knows their own hair best.
He exercises and swears multiple times per day and you can see he has fine straight hair. I don’t think it’s surprising, his hair wouldn’t look as clean if he didn’t
