And since I know someone's going to ask, yes you can stack the foundations and layer the walls. I just chose not to to save some time(and because generally its better to spend resources on more turrets and bullets rather than extra layers).
Annnnnnnd because someone's going to ask, the next videos are going to be; battle boat, primitive raft, dino storage, crafting rooms, reworked 5x5, defensive wall designs and some more compact builds. They probably won't be released in that order though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You have a real talent for cutting right to the point and not wasting time. I'd love to see the total cost in metal / cp, though I could calculate it myself. I can't imagine a solo player ever being able to build this on vanilla tho
To be fair a solo player shouldn’t have a base close to this big lol

Kviden not really sarcastic. I'm glad you read them all. I love the hidden messages. I literally rewind and spam pause every time I see them. If I could afford an extra ps4 I'd hook you up. You take a break from the build vids and try something diff to give yourself something new

I'd Like to see a tree house base on a tree platform you see alot of building designs but not an actual usable base and i think your designs are great so would be worth a try!
U need to make base with 100 turrets next update u cane only have 100 turrets so yea...

Yeah I ended up doing something kind of in between where I placed the small important pieces individually but did all the larger pieces like walls together. Turned out looking pretty good and saved a lot of time :D

Lovely design as usual, however for an online raid defense refilling ammo and sniping will be pain in the ass. Roof works for sniping, but since base is so tiny and they would only have to watch the roof for snipers, making it really easy for the raider to counter.
As i also mentioned, refilling ammo is not gonna happen lol. you'll have to grapple around in order to refill them except roof turrets, and even then you will almost certainly will get sniped.
Nice design but as many of your bases it's just not made for online defending. You can't just count on turrets to protect the base :)

I know this is old, but if u guys are building this base im pretty sure u need a second snap point on the fabricator (the one that is lowed).
Important to note, on official, ladder placement trick seems to only be working if you climb to the end of ladder and fall, if you jump off it you wont be able to place Any structures. Or maybe its just me?

Yeah I can see that, especially with industrial forges and grinders. I do them the same way in most videos because its the most space efficient technique lol What would you suggest I try instead? I was thinking some less compact, more aesthetic pve builds
tri tower build maybe? octagonal builds? imploding pyramid? dino platforms? a base that looks like a roaring Trex mine craft style? or a base that looks like an 8-bit mario jumping from the top that is still useful... id watch that all day

Great work as usual. Can you do a Tek base and underwater tek base? The tek work bench is so big and clumsy?
Perfect base on the desert plateau with the birdge thingie and then the high “small” plateau
Put the base on the small plateau and dino’s on the big plateau underneath
Put biggest defence at the natural bridge
I made this base EXACTLY the same (apart of the Indyforge, i putted the Indy forge outside)
I only had 20 auto turrets
3 wyverns
2 Griffins
I was duo
I got attacked by alpha tribe
We killed 5 of their wyverns (we couldve killed 9 but the sometimes wisstled em away when they got bloody)
It was 2vs4 pvp
They killed 1 of our wyvs at the time
Then it got late and we had to go off
They started soaking
They blew a few holes in the base
Most turrets were soaked or down
They didn’t kill the Griffins yet
I wake up in morning
I hop on the griff
I fought them off for 2 more hours as a solo and then they started pushing when I got my timers to respawn
Then I popcorned because im a motherfucker
Really easy to defend
I really recommend this base to everyone
Now im on smalltribes and started yesterday and now we allready have the walls
Genni’s, ceilings pillars, foundations and cables placed👌🏻

legit tho, love your bases, i use your 2x3 compact (with minor adjustments to make them turret towers) as personal Housing surrounding our main base. Ever consider doing a perimeter design without Behemoth gates for your compacts or larger bases?

Just finished building this, and must have messed up on the Forge placement. The stairs that are partially blocking your respawn gear room, cannot be crawled under. Am I correct in assuming that if i pick up the forge, i'd have to rebuild every floor between here and the top because of collision?
Coming back years later, in ASA.. because of COURSE this is the channel I need a build video from :) Looked back at my SS of this base on Ragnarok so many years ago. The memories came flooding back. Thanks for giving us a solid place to rock out!

one problem why put your beds and barrels in the back once you put the stairs up you can't get back there

I should have done this instead of the 10x10 i cannot afford all of the vaults and chem benches. I have probably 10 vaults and when i deconstruct my old base i will probably use the metal and 10 vaults in it to more more for my 10x10. This base seems more practical though.
On the 10x10 i am at the second floor with the second ramp going up. I do not understand why you have so many generators because if one breaks the others do not substitute for it for some reason. I tried turning off the first to test it.

Hey bro love the vids. What servers do you build on? 1 player? Im a good builder in rust just because u can jump on creative servers and not need to eff around soawning shit with codes etc. I have played 1k hrs on ark but never really get a chance to practice my building because of the time it takes to get all peaces. I wish there was servers i could log on grab what i wanted from a mini menu and build away
Thanks man, I play around in single player and used the mod ACM to spawn in a lot of building materials to mess around with. Its a pretty handy mod, makes the game almost like minecraft creative.
