- A nice, compact 2 by 4 base design I've been working on. Hope you guys like it. Oh and in the comments tell me what you would like me build next.

So my single player world is littered with base designs and I can't decided which I should make a video of next. Any ideas? What do you guys want next?
Kviden I play with ten or more people on a dedi I love your base concepts the only problem is with ten people Dino storage is difficult could u do a Dino pin also wouldn't mind seeing a base u build on like a 8x8 or greater scale

Another awesome build! These builds are great and look perfect for any single-person (or otherwise small) tribes to use and are ideal for maximizing defense without sacrificing utility. I know the idea of a massive box doesn't sound appealing, but how would you build a base with the express purpose of housing a quetzal, ankylo and transmitter for farming?
Kviden low structure turret towers with concealed wiring. we build some that run the wire straight through the pillar and I'd love to see your concept of it.

I really like this but if you're looking to save on metal I'ld replace giant hatch frames with catwalks and have some ground turrets! Save yourself over a thousand ingots
JayEx23 - Gaming Based Entertainment but giant hatch frames are better for defence because the turrets can do a full 360 plus you have even more turrets defending
NBA 2k17 Goat You gotta think if you plan on making a 2x4 you can't be a big tribe and it would be harder to get the resources for hatchframes, significantly harder working off refining forges as well

I think this is the building I'm going to build
FOr people who have trouble with placeing stuff and it demolishing over and over a neat little fix for that is to have tribe admin demolish on and a second person in tribe (friend) as owner and you not admin while you build then have person set you back to owner when done , this stop the mistakes with building from happening... enjoy

you know people that play this game cant pull all this stuff out of thin air to make a base like this our any other beyond thatch at the beginning of the game and it actually takes many hours of seat of your pants to even be able to make a single metal foundation without being raided by a larger group or even random individuals. Not that that is a bad build but i really would like to see one of you specialty builders go from new player to what you are doing here in a montage video and show the hours that you put into this .just like every one else would have to do have a nice day :)

I would suggest watching captain fatdog's video on wall stacking his method is easier and looks a lot cleaner
I've seen it and while I do like it, its not really easier, its about the same. The problem with it is that you can't stack ceilings off of it, you'd have to do another trick for that, which just adds more steps. The way I do it has the walls at different heights on purpose so you can stack ceilings off it

is there a reason you didn't lay a ceiling layer over the cables on this build, as you usually do. I'm solo, and looking to build a 2x4, always inspired by your work
...as in foundations, generator, cables, then ceilings... just to be clear what I'd meant 😋
You can, its just kind of a pain to get the cables in the right place since the geny is in between other structures that you put down later in the build.

yes I do! lmao, its such a long and tedious process to make that stop motion/time lapse intro that I get bored and end up goofing around. The grass also magical grows and shrinks :)
