Ark Builds - Compact Industrial Forge Base

- I wanted to see just how tiny of a base I could build with an industrial forge and most everything else you would need. Ended up being 3x4x6 and pretty cozy :D
Annnnd I'm starting to work on some tip and trick videos but I'm still on the fence about whether or not they should have voice overs. What do you guys think? Keep them like my build videos with no annoying commentary or have some but only to explain import stuff? Eh let me know down in the comments.

The number of easter eggs, hidden messages and funny little color changing dinos in the background are amazing. I'll share this around as much as I can. I have been looking for this build - smallest possible base with an industrial forge - this is my goal as a solo player on officials. I always look forward to your videos. Keep it up! hey thanks man! I'm glad you enjoy all the easter eggs lol I get bored of just building the base over again while recording so I kind of screw around a lot. And I haven't even thought about a patreon page, might just do that :)

I feel u man i have been in a offical server for 1month know i am solo and have 3 industrial forges in a safe but looking for the right build videos i hate making my own designs and like u said i dream of a forge base build that its super tight with out all the kem benches and industrial grinders

+iPROGUNN3R'sGaming Oh god, you don't know how glad i am that someone took their time to question this list haha. I was calculating everything (actually only the ingots, CP, poly, etc) on excel for myself and our tribe while i was watching the video when i happened to see one of the hidden messages in the video and decided to upload the whole list here. I'd like to tell you the list is 100% accurate but i didn't double check it to make sure so its gonna be up to you. Although im 90% sure that atleast 95% of this list is correct. I hope you find it usefull.

Have all of your builds on official xbox server 733, gonna build this one now! Maybe your next video should be an early game base as the new servers are coming out and people will be deciding what builds to do etc. Love your editing, I imagine that cinematic part at the beginning must take ages! Keep up the awesome work man:)

Seeing that ark is releasing fairly soon it would be absolutely amazing to see some early to mid game pvp base tutorials and ideas.

Hey man, really enjoy your builds and all the Easter eggs like everyone else has stated. I know everyone is asking for a bigger base build and I of course would like one too, but other than that...
Have you considered just doing a collection of building techniques that you use throughout your videos? For example, the vault dropping like you do, or the fabricator clipping techniques, using the large bear traps for the smithy collisions, etc. You show step-by-step for each build which is great, but just some techniques singled out would be nice and would probably get you a lot of views.
Love these vids back when I use to play heaps I had no imagination and no one did base builds I'd love to see some cave base designs due to Ragnarok having lots of these I subbed to you well deserved bro

Lol, this was great. Not sure if you did it after I requested but exactly what I was thinking of!!! It's grand. But I noticed you lowered the foundations and pretty sure there's a better method to prevent foundation wiping. I'll try make something up to show you, if you need
Actually, nevermind. Realised that when I did the method of using a fence foundation to lower the foundations, it was on a modded server that must've had no structure collusion. But still, using a fence, then pillar, the foundation snaps to ground level. I used it on rafts too. Can be used to make circular bases too. Pretty good method of building.

I'd use the third floor for bird storage.. as it's be hard to being resources up to that level to craft with, and useless as you have a fab etc at the first floor as well :) ofc this is just what I'd do..

you need to do a tutorial on how you snap so damn perfect. i usually make double what you list since i break so many trying to build up.
fadedmunkey I have this same problem where it looks like the wall im placing is in the right spot but then when i place it, it destroys the other wall and takes it place

Where unload the anky at? I'm wasting time by not being able to "transfer all", unless the anky can get near something to transfer contents too.
Can you make an economically efficient resource building. Time efficiency is key in being able to access a doedicurous to a chem bench or an anky to a fab. Vaults can be used as a middle man to transfer mass loads between work stations and to storage vaults.
Good video, can u do an only dino storage, not house only a place to keep safe dinos.
Yo man, your videos are actually really great, I'd love to see maybe a 7x7 again but a whole base, so with turret toweres and a pen?
I'll probably do some more 7x7 sized ones but I doubt I'll do a whole base with walls and turret towers. Too much of their placement revolves around where you build so it would be different for anyone following along for the build.
base is good but its not easy to fix when get raided and its hard AF to unload heavy staff ind forge must have door with a cheap craftign area to unlaod shit tones of wood stone or metal can you do early game base?

Really late to the party but I’m having trouble placing the ceiling in the middle of the forge it won’t even show the spot and also having trouble getting the 2nd story walls to double wall any advice?

You could build a base with replicator and forcefield.
Question: why didn't you put a fence foundation where the front door is?
The fence foundations were to double layer the walls and there aren't walls there so I didn't need the fence foundations :)

GreatWarsGaming the reason is because he is building in single player/player dedicated where you can clip everything together. You cannot do that on official servers so these builds won't work.
GreatWarsGaming Aaron lied to you. It works on every Server. The smithy has two sides. One with a huge gap and one that fits to the next one. You have to put the smithy with the correct side nextto each other. If he had the single player without clipping, he could built the smithys direkt into each other. But you can see its red, so he cant place it into each other = its clipping. His builts work everywhere.
