I see so many people with all their defences on the outside of the base, and most youtubers do tutorials like that aswell. That's one of the reasons I love your builds, the entire thing is full of defences inside and out. Great work. However, one thing I do like to do with interior turrets is throw in a really obvious generator that people can destroy and some idiots will then think all the turrets are down and just run straight into their line of sight, even though the generator the destroyed wasn't connected to anything. It works really well for some reason.
I've made and raided more bases than I can count... really like your design, the best way to get past everything would be to blow all of the bottom walls. Very defendable and practical base!

With quetz being able to go through those trapdoor now, this is by far the greatest base I've seen

Super cool looking, and maybe even good for 1 official rates. but for unofficial high rates , this is so easy to raid.
Use wood instead of metal for stairs and ladders that way the enemy can't get up if the demo it
thats why we use rope ladders on a notame server. we live on a mountain. If you are online, pull them up, if u are offline they will break :)
Under World GG rope ladders work to but I think other people can unroll them ( but I'm not certain )

that's an insane amount of metal.Good luck trying to get that built without it getting raided or simply removed mid build, you need to get a layer at a time secure so you can actually operate out of it.
you should possibly make a vid of a good "for now" base, an easy to build yet protected base to store all the mats in while they farm to build bases like the one in this vid. Excellent vids man. It's clear you put thought and strategy into them. Love the look of the once useless metal staircase btw. It actually gives it the appearance of having more room. Gj!

i would have swapped the top floor, and second floor, because if someone wanted to raid you, and got in from the roof, then they would immediately get your best loot in the vaults straight away, you should always keep your most valuable in the very centre of your base! But really good video and keep them up

Great base design, and well done video showcasing it.
I love these builds; my only concern with them though is reparability - they look like you'd need to destroy a lot to lay things back down in the right order should you defend from a raid. But for compact builds - damn Skippy! I definitely learnt a lot (I am so stealing that refrigerator+preserving bin layout).
Overall a decent build but it has a few flaws. You don't need nearly as many cabels and outlets. The range of the outlet is 2.5 foundations/walls so you can have HALF of what you placed down. Also the generators must have a more central position (if you have different sections of your base). This is where another problem comes. Your base is just a big box atleast the first floor where you have almost all of your stuff (except the vaults on top and the storage boxes with the beds) which is the best news for raiders. They have access to everything and there isn't a way to defend your stuff inside except turrets but they are not really effective inside because there are a lot of spots where you can hide from them.

You can do the construction of a small base with dino pen of the beginning start, mid and late game the progress by parts 1/2/3 with little thing what really is needed.
I've seen all your videos and I really love it, I just think you need to explain the construction process to those who have just started playing, on some bases.
I hope you understand what I mean by my English.
you should probably specify a spot for replicator and a transmitter in a big build like this.
also how about a breeding base with transmitter?
Max Overpower 49 foundation size is not big. Anyways the best place for a transmitter would be outside. If you want a replicator in this base i would recomend doing it another floor thats 6 walls higher where you would store replicator in the middle and vaults around it. I have a setup like that and it was extremly usefull when looting chinese turret ammo the other day...

The only problem here is the electrical system is too much unprotected beside of first floor. Should be put inside of pillars of metal. If one ptera come into, just have to roll for destroy the electrical cables and shouting down the turrets. After that the base is awesome and I like your style still going! :)

dude ur way to build is just insane, when i build my base with 2 fundations and walls i fucked up really hard and lost a lot of time doing it.
My only problem with the build is no where to make bear (I know you can easily just slap it somewhere near the indust cooker) but aside from that it looks great!

Eh. Many of the bases i see on official are partial tek. tek doors first, then maybe one level better tek foundations and one wall of tek. never seen a full 100% legit tek base.

This is a good design and all althought you might aanna know the bottom level of oundations is a waste of recources as you can simply just lowe the generators and places the cables beforehand lol

The base design is amazing but I wouldn't build this because of the recourse value it take over 26000 metal just for the walls foundations and ceilings I like your other builds because they weren't to expensive. But keep it up this build is amazing I might create a variation of this just with less vaults and fridges👍

The place you built this is not air access only, i know because i built there and peope still got up the spiral with rexes, but if you did stick this in an air access only spot with a bunch of turret towers and a transmitter it would be golden.

Ok but how do you get the birds back in there that perfectly? Perching flyers is my biggest gripe with Ark's turning circles and their lack of backwards mobility.

could use some music and that base cost to much recoures that only a alpha would build and an alpha would need way more space and would use behemoth gates and keep there dinos outside guarded by turrets

A Quetz will not fit through the large hatchframe/trap door since the new patch ;-(

I will check and see but the last time I was on my quetz would not go through a ceiling mounted hatchframe
Yea, the Large Hatchframe will not let a quetz through anymore, just tested it. To use this build you need to use the behemoth hatchframe instead.

They can only fit through metal ones, source: I fly quetz in & out of them atleast a dozen times every day
Too bad currently my base is located in a small cave (doesn't count as one, though, so no additional damage!) on Ragnarok (in the highlands). I'd make something similar if I could.
