      I don't know if this is still relevant but you can only grow certain plants in certain sizes of plots. Berries can be grown in any size plot, but crops (citronel, savoroot, longgrass, rockkarrot) can only grow in medium or larger sized plots, and defensive plants (plant species X,Y,Z) can only be grown in large plots. I don't know about Tek plots though.

    Three more things for farming tutorial:
    -the only reason you would tame phiomia is bc they can fill your base with shit in no time, you just have to hold E on the berries in their inventory (i think)
    -iguanodon can transform all berries into their seeds
    -dung beetle can be used for making fertilizer

      If you're playing on PC, I use a Plateosaurus from the Additional Creatures 2: Wild Ark mod. It makes Narcotics automatically in it's inventory without the need for spoiled meat. Another nice addition for the farming squad. Also I enjoy a weight spec'd Therizinosaurus as a wood harvester (Power) & another for rare flowers/fiber (Delicate Harvest). I clear the trees with the Therizino as it does not harvest the plants. That way my berry collector(s)/Plant collector(s) can come in and harvest away without getting unnecessary thatch and wood weighing their inventory down.

    this means that ideally you should only grow berries in small plots, crops in medium plots, and x, y, and z plants in large plots. this will provide you the largest yield for each

      @MissVadams10  Год назад +2

      I always thought they produce a higher yield but you're right, it's the same as smaller plots, but the larger plots can house various plants that smaller ones can't. As for the composter, if you're just starting out in the game, this is the easiest way to get passive fertiliser production going until you tame a dung beetle (mentioned in the vid).

      @@MissVadams10 might be a bit late for the info but if you do a dino wipe also wipe the hives with "destroyall beehive_c 1" if not the empty beehives will just sit around the map never spawning an other queen. I suggest always wiping beehives if your gonna do a dinowipe as well

      @@Just-A-Few-ClipsI'm not quite sure what you mean but if you are referring to the foundations being placed I have clipping enabled (turned off by default) that allows me to clip foundations partially into the ground.
