It a lake, its usually dry throughout the year unless we get heavy rainfall. Yes it wasn't particularly deep but we didn't know how deep it was until we tried it and then walked back in and checked.

@@jonhathaway2537 3 years later, I own a 2013 crf450 snowbike. I know better than anyone that wet against a hot engine is not good for anything. That engine was probably working extra hard as the whole engine wasn’t up to temp because of the water. I can barely keep mine above 180° on a hot spring day
Wonder how deep it was,, must of had a paddle tire on to gain that much traction we do miles and miles on our sleds but same thing goes if you dont have enough power to pull yourself out of that front end bounce when it happens usually belt wil get wet and your sunk.. cool vid!!

what engine size is the bike? the "lake" was deep or was it always like the shore of the sea, that is, not deep water, for example if it stopped as if it were in the middle of a lake or the wheels sank? did you touch your feet on the ground in the middle of the lake?
People saying its shallow, makes no difference! what if he gets flipped over the bars (highly likely) its not going to be a soft landing and could potentially be knocked out and drown, still takes huge balls to do this

Yeah it got a bit hairy at a few points, thought i was going to lose momentum.
The hard part must be keeping it straight so the rear wheel doesnt get ahead of the front wheel. Steering doesn't seem to do much, worse than ice.
