    First time that's ever occurred to me to be possible. Snow machines on the water, old hat, wheelies/ trackies is a new one. Nice thinking outside the box. Says this guy, who runs his ski plane down mountains with the engine at idle, basically snowboarding it.

    Sunk my 700 summit in the dugout, took 3 hrs to get it running again! took off too slow, hit water with a bit of speed then it has crazy traction on the water, 136 track with 2 inch paddles its a fun sled, catwalks all the time. in snow or water.

    That takes balls to do. If I had spent 10+ thousand on a snowmobile, I'm not sure I'd wanna rip it on a lake. If you mess up and lose plane, that's it its over. Mad respect for this guy

    is there done anything to make it ligther ? i drove one in sweden on a holiday like 5-6 years ago... remember it being super heavy.. the power of it was impressive but i really didnt think it would could do stuff like this xD but yeah guess the one i drove that belongs to the stone age compared to the ones u can buy today.. anyways really impressive ^^

      Automatic centrifugal clutch, it grabs a belt at a certain RPM.

      michael meng yep, then you have to get it out of the lake and completely rebuilt a lot of the sled.

      Lol no you wont have to rebuild anything unless the gas is being pinned as it sinks, just kill the engine and all you'll have to do is drain the water from the motor and replace gas/oil.

      Joe _ Yeah, you shouldn't try that on just any snowmobile, but theirs is modified so it will not spill anything into the lake if it sinks and is easily restored + I don't know if it's stock or not, but it's a very powerful one, so that obviously makes it easier, and they are of course very good at it, so there's that.

      probably an 800. but they must have it so the clutch engages at a high RPM for a takeoff like that.

      they made an increase to the angle of the boogie so that it is easier to pull wheelies thus making the tracks looser

    Al my sleds walked on water and carved till I got a deep track Polaris 800r.m.k. mountain sled ,it bogs and will throw you over the handle bars,I thought it would be the best sled ever for water

      That looks like a POLARIS he's on? Maybe a BRP. I never had any problems crossing water with my old Polaris 600 triple wedge style. I have thought about doing it with my 600 RMK with a 2.5" track. Going to be picking up an 800 RMK with a 3" track tomorrow. Maybe I'll grow a bigger set of balls and try it out lol.

      Yup, you better be hauling ass and DONT FUCKEN SLOW DOWN ALOT OR STOP! And if you do and your snowmobile is going under turn the engine off and it will be fine. All you gotta do is haul it outta the water and drain the engine. And you'll be fine. Because all of the electronics are waterproof anyway. You turn it off so water doesn't cycle into the engine/crankcase
