Actually tho. Still the craziest clip I’ve ever seen on a bike. Like not only did he slide under a semi. He fit thru a gap about 2 feet wide since the guy was rockin runners. The fact he didn’t have any control and fit through a gap like that is a fuckin miracle.

Like, It's the result of being Dutch and cycling is not the subculture it tends to be in many other countries, but I never cease to be amazed by the utter lack of anticipatory behaviour of cyclists: They could've seen a car slowing down, they would see a traffic light and no moving traffic from other directions so they could have acted on all this visual information but nope, full speed ahead, even while having their view partially blocked by the box or whatever it is in that clip...

A few years ago I had a bicycle accident and now when I see someone on a bicycle or someone falls in these videos although idiotic jerks do not make me laugh, it makes me remember how my wounds burned and I could not even sleep besides that out of nowhere it began to make a terrible strange smell and a strange liquid came out of them

i use motorcycle regularly to go anywhere and my parents who also use motorcycle taught me about the rule of size, you riding motorcyle/bycycle will always be more vulnerable than any type of transportation, so prioritized the large vehicle passing by, do not speeding, go to a edge of the road or shoudler and look around before you make a turn. It keep me safe riding for 10 years.

Actually he was riding with his friend that day and their helmets were connected, his friend saw him go under the truck and didn’t see him come out. He was freaking out so the guy was telling him that he was ok

I'd say about 75% of these clips are bicyclists that feel entitled to blow through traffic and ignore basic rules of the road. They assume they'll be protected by the same astuteness a driver gives to a person walking through a crosswalk. Nothing against bikes, just idiots.

As someone who used to be a professional cyclist, I never understood why cyclists got so much hate. Now I get it... Some of these people have a real death wish!!

I've ridden bicycles for decades and I've been embarrassed and angered by what I see other bicyclists doing, I've even hollered at them and gotten into arguments with them, when they act stupidly it gives car drivers a bad attitude, i like seeing them fuc* up and fall or get fat tickets when they deserve it. But to be fair plenty of car drivers are oblivious to what's going on around them and drive like they're entitled too, especially women on cell phones, it's ridiculous, and on a bicycle where you're high enough to see down into the cab you can see a phone held near the bottom of the steering wheel, where cops often can't see them. Drivers texting while their one ton + death machine is moving is just ridiculous. So there's plenty of blame to go around on both sides. But dumb a** bicyclists running off the road, into sign posts, etc. good.

It is simply a case of a bad road user is bad no matter what they use the roads with.
As for phone users, check out CyclingMikey in London, he videos them and sends the videos to the police who prosecute. Each one is a fine and 6 points on their licence.
