Humble Man. I wrestled with him in high school... I was a freshman when he was a senior and I had horrible grades that year, so I was unable to compete although I could practice. So he may or may not remember me.. that doesn’t really matter... He was extremely committed to his sport and was all in with everything he did and earned the respect of his teammates and of those around him who witnessed his commitment for excellence! He set an example for the rest of us and made us all better!! ! What’s interesting, is that the biggest part about Chuck (outside of his unmatched intensity on the wrestling mat) is that I remember him being a peacekeeper during conflicts... never once saw him fight or instigate a fight. I definitely remember him standing his ground to protect women and people being picked on.. but he kept the peace, so I was extremely surprised in the early 2000s, to see him on a big billboard driving down the freeway!!! Much respect Mr. Liddell!!
Your comment made me happy! I’ve been I lifelong fan of Liddell’s and he is a stand up guy inside and outside the ring. It’s really disappointing to see how much the community doesn’t want to see him succeed.
He is. Im from slo and knew him before he was big and after he got big and he didn’t change much. He used to go downtown slo and buy people drinks at the bar all the time. I used to get drunk and talk his ear off about mma and he had no problems with it. Super cool guy.
When Chuck Liddell is feeling guilty for splurging 16 grand on a car somethings wrong. UFC needs to take care of the originals who made the sport what it is. Make it happen Dana
Yea it's sad how the OG's are treated even Vince or at WWE helps out people from the past while UFC fighters don't get shit Mark Coleman's gym ran a fund raiser so he could get a hip replacement not too long ago.
NO woody is gangster but I think hes older than chuck how can he play chucks career. it would haft to be some no name guy that no one has ever heard about. make it his debut movie showing.
Not sure if it was brought up in the rest of the interview but he shared the screen with Jack Nicholson when he was a little kid in The Postman Always Rings Twice. He was one of the boy scouts.
You know what's cool about Larry King? He is worth almost $150 million USD so he is really only running this channel / production for his love of interviewing people :)
Chuck Liddell is a fantastic man and fighter. He is the most intimidating fighter outside of the ring cause he is honest and his eyes are black as a witches painties. Seen him in person and have heard the baddest men on the planet say the same. Almost like a aura around him speaks “ I’m friendly, but don’t ever go there”
Chris Lopez hate to bust your bubble but Rampage would still give Chuck another beating.. trust me, I like Chuck but I don't want to see this fight again
I love this man. When I first started watching ufc He was the biggest superstar and I loved watching him fight me and my dad would always be on our feet screaming, seeing him lose to tito was foul. He shouldn’t have fought and shouldn’t fight he’s past that age. How I wish it wasn’t so 😭😭😭
Chuck you looked awesome dude that was the best I've seen you you were on point you were not slacking talk and slow or anything man the Killer is back good luck buddy
I'm I impressed that Chuck didn't take long at all to think of his answers. Quick mind. I know people will say that's coke but coke doesn't always make people quick thinking
Anybody else notice how big his pupils are and how glassy his eyes are. His jaw is also really animated, especially sideways movement. If he's not high on some sort of stimulant I'll be surprised.
I used to work out in the cal poly gym and see him there. Brief encounters. His appearance was intimidating but he was always nice. Seems the same today.
Deadprofits is correct. A hydraulic clutch. Meaning that the clutch pedal actuates a piston that forces high pressure oil through the clutch cables to hydraulically actuate the clutch separating from the flywheel/transmission. A dry clutch would use a jacketed stainless braided cable that would mechanically operate the clutch. Hydraulic clutches generally have a much smoother feel with less force needed to actuate. I figure if you ask then you actually want to know what it is. Same concept as hydraulic brakes.
One of the true pioneers of the sport. His and Titos rivalry were epic. Its a shame there's no huge payouts for the old vets sure $60,000 In a month is good but compared to football hockey and baseball these guys deserve WAY more.
I said that at work a long time ago and everyone looked at me like why out of all the power's would you pick that? I think there are a lot, but not being able to been seen would be soo good, plus I am a big perv!
Man, I hate to see chuck get back in the cage. This is the best, most coherent he has sounded in a decade. He was almost punch drunk when he retired. I hope he does not get back to that point, mentally. He is a good dude and I don't want to see him go out like Ali did.
I love chuck like everyone else, I have to ask is this from sept this year? God forbid! It is, I put the house and kids on Tito. Chuck is in anything but fight shape are you kidding me? It takes one to recognize one. This shit breaks my heart!! Dana take care of your friend, he fucking needs you!!
Chuck was famous in college for being able to unhook a bra with one hand. Women would go to the bar he worked at to ask him if it was true, and if he could do it while they were fully clothed.

Much respect Mr. Liddell!!
That's so cool, ur lucky to have gone to school with such a legend
Not a big MMA guy myself but, hearing him speak here I already have mad respect for him. He seems very authentic and real.
The MMA scene is filled with great people. I wish people didn't look at it as just senseless violence because it really is much more.
Your comment made me happy! I’ve been I lifelong fan of Liddell’s and he is a stand up guy inside and outside the ring. It’s really disappointing to see how much the community doesn’t want to see him succeed.
You should definitely look up some chuck liddell highlights then you wont be disappointed 👌🏽
ajay7797 for sure!
He is. Im from slo and knew him before he was big and after he got big and he didn’t change much. He used to go downtown slo and buy people drinks at the bar all the time. I used to get drunk and talk his ear off about mma and he had no problems with it. Super cool guy.
Chuck Liddell is a true legend.
When Chuck Liddell is feeling guilty for splurging 16 grand on a car somethings wrong. UFC needs to take care of the originals who made the sport what it is. Make it happen Dana
Riv & Reb. .. Dana white should have to fight chuck so he could learn what he is asking others to do for a ford expedition.
Yea it's sad how the OG's are treated even Vince or at WWE helps out people from the past while UFC fighters don't get shit Mark Coleman's gym ran a fund raiser so he could get a hip replacement not too long ago.
@@benjaminjeanes998 You're god damn right, brother.
PEople like chuck, made Dana insane amounts of money. And he is feeling guilty about 16k? Not fuckin right. Dana White would wipe his ass with 16k
He made 4.5 million in his career not including sponsorship's, if he is broke now he has nobody but himself to blame.
That's an American Badass right there.
who larry king
@Midnight You must be from France.
Chuck n Randy are some of the coolest cats in the game. Paved the way, entertained many, and are actually great guys in person
Woody Harrelson should play Chuck in a movie
perfect casting
As soon as he smiled the same thing popped into my head too! That would be awesome
That's actually a awesome idea there should be a movie about Chuck Liddell. And Woody Harrelson would be the perfect guy
Very true! Michael Rooker would be a close second.
NO woody is gangster but I think hes older than chuck how can he play chucks career. it would haft to be some no name guy that no one has ever heard about. make it his debut movie showing.
Love Chuck, cool dude.
I love that picture with Conor lol
Love ya too chuck!!!
@Rashan Sankofa what you on my brother ill be real if you are ???
The Ice Man is a true class act
This guy was involved in some of the most exciting fights and greatest nights in ufc history. Pay the man the respect he deserves
He's got that look in his eye...
@McDonald's Big Mac you won't understand if you don't see it
Ah yes. Cocaine. The look of cocaine.
He's got that ice cold killer look in his eyes. No wonder he's called the iceman
Joe and goldie "he's got that look in his eyes Joe"
Lol
Chuck ... THE ACCOUNTANT ... LiDEELLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Not sure if it was brought up in the rest of the interview but he shared the screen with Jack Nicholson when he was a little kid in The Postman Always Rings Twice. He was one of the boy scouts.
yakuza01 just shut up
dub16100 Hmmm, not sure if you thought I was joking because I wasn't. He was actually in the movie when he was a kid.
You know what's cool about Larry King? He is worth almost $150 million USD so he is really only running this channel / production for his love of interviewing people :)
Chuck is a bad man....straight up crazy!! mad respect
Met this guy in Tokyo, out at dinner together (with a group), also a few other times at the UFC (he wansnt fighting but signing) ...great guy.
Chuck Liddell is a fantastic man and fighter. He is the most intimidating fighter outside of the ring cause he is honest and his eyes are black as a witches painties. Seen him in person and have heard the baddest men on the planet say the same. Almost like a aura around him speaks “ I’m friendly, but don’t ever go there”
RAMPAGE LIDDELL 3 !
NEVER gonna happen!!! Chuck will get a big payout against Ortiz 3 soon and I believe he will retire after that.
Rampage has Chuck’s number, just like Chuck HAD Tito’s. Tito wins this one!
@@linkbelt111 if chuck has Tito's # but Tito will win, why couldn't chuck beat rampage "this time"? He'd knock rampage TFO
If Liddell fought Rampage I believe he would destroy rampage. Mop the floor with that bum
Chris Lopez hate to bust your bubble but Rampage would still give Chuck another beating.. trust me, I like Chuck but I don't want to see this fight again
One of my favs MMA fighters. Team Chuck!
Hes had a few lines of that Peruvian flake.....
Definitely
That ol' pearlescent, yellowish, stanky stuff.
Yeah.. i'm trying to find out is he tweekin or geeking...???
I don't think he needs coke.
The man's heart is all for the fight game, his mind as well but watching this, his body betrays him..
Surprised at his humility and down to earth demeanor considering his overwhelming success in the world of MMA
I love this man. When I first started watching ufc He was the biggest superstar and I loved watching him fight me and my dad would always be on our feet screaming, seeing him lose to tito was foul. He shouldn’t have fought and shouldn’t fight he’s past that age. How I wish it wasn’t so 😭😭😭
Just a great person and fighter...lots of respect.
What a cool guy!, he's just made me a fan!, hope you win tonight Chuck 👊🏽
"If you can MAKE ME ANGRY WITH WORDS, you're PRETTY IMPRESSIVE..."
I'm using that...
This was a great interview. I always liked Chuck a lot. He played a big part in making me a MMA fan. ( Matt Hughes also )
I was here to know more about the machine to pressure my joints
Chuck you looked awesome dude that was the best I've seen you you were on point you were not slacking talk and slow or anything man the Killer is back good luck buddy
Probably my favorite fighter
I wish I can meet chuck Liddell one day dude is such an old school fighter. sad to see him comeback thinking he can hang with these young dudes..
To be fair I've only heard him talk about about fighting people around his age. Tito, rampage, etc.
he said he wanted to fight Jon jones on the Ariel show
Now that you mention that I remember him saying that. But that's just nuts lol
He just wants to get paid and I bet he still has that punch and honestly if he got lucky enough, he'd knock anyone out. Imagine that pay day.
Chuck is still the coolest fighter ever! One of my favorites only behind Joe Frazier!
Chuck Is and always will be the most respected KO merchant in UFC history.. An absolute Monster of a man
Met him years ago. One of the best!! Cool dude
I loved this!!
Good man. I hope he wins.
Good video. Good guy
Chuck's already had some celebratory lines I see!!
i like the idea of THE RAMPAGE FIGHT, im still shattered over that knock out even though im a rampage fan
Rampage iced the Iceman like Silva moored rampage twice
I'm I impressed that Chuck didn't take long at all to think of his answers. Quick mind. I know people will say that's coke but coke doesn't always make people quick thinking
Definitely edited but DAMN! Makes me like Chuck more. He was on top when I first got into UFC.
Anybody else notice how big his pupils are and how glassy his eyes are. His jaw is also really animated, especially sideways movement. If he's not high on some sort of stimulant I'll be surprised.
I didn't know Larry was still doing this show.
Love this guy, his fights were epic, he was awesome to watch. , for some reason I always love the chuck v Tito Ortiz is my fav fight.
Chuck was awake for this one
Been a Fan of The Ice Man for years...He's a Legit Bad Ass.....Say your Prayers Tito....Cheers Everyone
And still probably my favorite fighter.
I don't think larry king will ever die.
I love UFC you were the only fighter I know
Huge fan
Top 5 of my favorite fighters ever!! Such a classy dude.
The Ice Man Cometh and is swinging away! Have watched ALL his fights. ( ;;
Doesn’t get angry by words but yet wants to be invisible so he can hear what people are saying about him.
I used to work out in the cal poly gym and see him there. Brief encounters. His appearance was intimidating but he was always nice. Seems the same today.
Chuck is the only dude in MMA who knows what romcom is & he actually likes it.
The legend
Great Guy Chuck!
What kind of clutch was in your car dude??
I leaky clutch.....LOL
I think he meant brake fluid. Or maybe he thought his brake was a clutch. lol
He's talking about a hydraulic clutch
Deadprofits is correct. A hydraulic clutch. Meaning that the clutch pedal actuates a piston that forces high pressure oil through the clutch cables to hydraulically actuate the clutch separating from the flywheel/transmission. A dry clutch would use a jacketed stainless braided cable that would mechanically operate the clutch. Hydraulic clutches generally have a much smoother feel with less force needed to actuate.
I figure if you ask then you actually want to know what it is. Same concept as hydraulic brakes.
He was referring to a hydraulic clutch
Interesting, his favorite venue is Vegas because that's where the fans have the best time. Respect.
conor and chuck
same style working awsome
Best knock out artist EVER
Larry makes that every week lol
After Chuck Ko's Tito I'd love to see Rampage Vs The Ice Man 3
That would be FANTASTIC! i would really like to see that too.
But Tito never "slept" chuck. No reason to believe its going to happen now.
AHAHAHAHAHA
How can someone be such a bad ass and a gentleman at the same time
It's fantastic that Chuck doesn't have a cauliflower ears despite of his long term MMA career
Well cauliflower ear is completely treatable if it’s done in time. But a lot of wrestlers choose to not do it because they see it as a mark of honor.
16k? Damn I hope he made millions later on
Respect for him
One of the true pioneers of the sport. His and Titos rivalry were epic. Its a shame there's no huge payouts for the old vets sure $60,000 In a month is good but compared to football hockey and baseball these guys deserve WAY more.
CLOSE YOUR EYES YOULL HEAR STIPE SPEAKING
Chuck do you brother!
Huge fan. Love Iceman!
I said that at work a long time ago and everyone looked at me like why out of all the power's would you pick that? I think there are a lot, but not being able to been seen would be soo good, plus I am a big perv!
Chuck's looking good. I think the time away has been good for him
Why is this old man even famous? He just reads questions
The fact that he cares about the fans with going to Vegas
I love that jacket
My man
Degree in accounting! Big up. Add that to a spectacular career.
Chuck beating Tito got me hooked on UFC years ago
Aw man..my boy’still on the powder BAD...wish I could talk to’em and help him out..cu soon Chuck-e
Man, I hate to see chuck get back in the cage. This is the best, most coherent he has sounded in a decade. He was almost punch drunk when he retired. I hope he does not get back to that point, mentally. He is a good dude and I don't want to see him go out like Ali did.
He's so punchy. This is heartbreaking to watch.
No more fighting, Chuck. No more, brother.
Slo town baby.
Chuck is a beast!! Looking forward to another Tito knockout
I AM AN ALWAYS WILL BE A CHUCK LIDDELL FAN!!!!!
Respect for The Iceman, he always brought it.
Pullin for ya Chuck. SLO is pullin for ya too.
Go get em Champ.
Fucking legend right here!
Is chuck coked out of his mind here, looks like hes on something
Luv The IceMan 👍💯
I thought he got off the "columbian Bam Bam"
Slurring speech, starting to show some signes of brain damage.
Generally I think you're right but this interview man you seemed right where we needed to be don't you think so seemed like he was on point
Makes me cringe how punch drunk he is
The greatest 205 mma fighter of all time.
Looks like Chuck on the booger sugar. I bet he gets that raw from El Chapo.
Just a message to Chuck. I will put the roll of toilet paper on the bar. However, you have to separate the paper.
chuck is like your uncle that shows up once every 2years at the bbq. who works hard an plays harder
Clutch fluid?
Chuck was famous in college for being able to unhook a bra with one hand. Women would go to the bar he worked at to ask him if it was true, and if he could do it while they were fully clothed.
Many years ago, chuck lidell invited me to play candy crush
