He didn't udnerestimate Khabibs wrestling, he prepared well for it in a short period of time, those Chael Sonnens words, a wrestler. I saw his technique, it was good in the first two rounds, he took little damage, and zero damage in round one. You didn't notice him controlling Khabib with reaching over for his ankle, and in fact for one quick moment was on top of Khabib. Conor won round three, just got taken down in round four and stuck in that nasty neck crank. Those are both great fighters, it's just Khabib was better that night.

I saw his technique, it was good in the first two rounds, he took little damage, and zero damage in round one. You didn't notice him controlling Khabib with reaching over for his ankle, and in fact for one quick moment was on top of Khabib. Conor won round three, just got taken down in round four and stuck in that nasty neck crank. Those are both great fighters, it's just Khabib was better that night.
