Makes sense to focus the detailed review on the more viable options! Since Awake is a controller player I know my experience on M&K with these snipers listed will differ somewhat but Awakes advice on sniper gameplay hasn't done me wrong so far.
One thing I really appreciate about this video is that you don't just say "feel" as some kind of cope to justify a statistically bad sniper being ranked highly, or an on-paper good sniper being ranked poorly, something I see so many content creators do. Instead you point out aspects of a sniper that is in reality just preference or an issue of "getting used to it" (chevron reticles, small reticles, zoom level, etc.), and focus on the actual stats and perks of the weapons.
I’m personally a full time advocate for the long walk and my biggest argument is it being the only aggressive frame (I think) w overflow/ss… for me at least overflow is an S tier perk that’ll let u make plays in ways no other perk can, like sliding over a brick w no ammo and being able to simultaneously scope in and shoot mid slide.
as a Borealis enjoyer, seeing it up there in S tier is perfect. it isn't bad, but it isn't very good to compete with other snipers. it works with ease with some of the builds that you have in pvp (me mainly on voidlock) and the feeling of shooting it is just....NICE
Being an agro damage model with solid handling without sacrificing with slickdraw is goated imo. The follow up damage potential with a hand cannon is important if you're a body shot bandit like me at least lmao
Bite of the fox' chevron sight is surprisingly helpful for newer snipers imo as the chevron basically says "heads here buddy" Edit: Shepherd's watch is imo a A tier sniper with under pressure and snapshot, 50 zoom is a bit much for a 90 rpm but it just feels so good

Got the the Mercurial last week, with flutted barrel - flared magwell - snap - opening and range masterwork and hit the 82 handling. I’m pretty satisfied, feels so good and have been my prime sniper since 👌🔥
My occluded finality did better in this list than I expected because I thought it would be ranked lower. It's the only sniper I had when I decided to switch from Shotty main to sniper. Nice vid btw. 👍👍
omnicient eye is the best rapid fire in terms of feel for me, i would put it as a low a or high b tier if you can hit heads, and frozen orbit should be lower than mechambre and that nightfall one, especially because they both get ssos, but other than that i agree with all of them

Got all my red borders for this season already. Still havent used any of the guns besides the smg though. Knowing that the taken sniper is smooth even whens its not crafted makes me wanna craft it

Bro, I think there are plenty of new or returning players who probably have more snipers that sit in your C & D tier in their vaults than those that you have in the higher tiers. You could probably make a whole video out of going through "the best of the worst" snipers & it would probably help a lot of people out. Just a thought!
@@Awake_wl Adored can be bought out of the kiosk so if you have the materials thats easy. The taken Sniper is current season so should be okay to farm out 5 RB then craft. i would give a shout for Frozen orbit aswell if you can grind PvP and reset 3 times before turning in all your engrams.

Lot of really good ones are easy to get though. I would just focus frozen orbits from shax til I got one with snapshot, 50 zoom is good for newer players and really nice scope. I seen a lot of good players use it in trials.

Not sure if you know but the hip fire on the comp sniper is insane as well. I personally put freehand grip on it and it just lands no scopes all the time
A distant pull crafted feels so good, I love that it has the circle reticle instead. I can not use that V reticle at all. Even without snapshot it feels so snappy
I lucked out on the mercurial overreach, getting a snapshot/elemental capacitor roll on my very first one. T he subsequent 7 were all pretty shit rolls so i stopped. I run Arc Titan because i'm hateful. I'm newish to PvP, having started in February, and even newer to snipers (started 2 weeks ago...still shit with them). The Mercurial Overreach felt great immediately. I got a random world drop Overflow/Snapshot Gallu as well, but MO feels better for me. Now for the kinetic slot, I really enjoy Bite of the fox. I have a couple of snapshot/moving target and Explosive Payload/Snapshot.... but i'm really liking the Snapshot/Iron Gaze lol. I just got one with a range MW that i need to max out and try. I agree Snap+Opening is pretty much the best combo on paper, but in practice I find myself gravitating toward no distractions whenever it’s available. I even swapped my Beloved to max handling enhanced ND + Moving Target earlier this season. Moving targets strafe is also huge for sniping on warlocks/titans with super low mobility.
You mention zoom having an interaction with aim assistance a lot in the video. The tl,dr is that on every weapon, zoom extends the aim assist cone just as it extends your damage fall-off. What this means is that the distance at which aim assist, that is bullet magnetism, stops working is further out compared to if the weapon has lower zoom. HOWEVER, on snipers and only snipers, higher zoom levels also increases the size of your aim assist cone, meaning your bullets will be able to bend more.
Aim assist is not bullet magnetism. Bullet magnetism has to do with how far off the hit box you can have a shot register as a hit. And aim assist is self explanatory.
@@c_l_a_d_d_i_x How can someone be this confidently incorrect? Bullet magnetism is what is affected by the aim assist stat. Whenever bungie makes a post mentioning buffing or nerfing aim assist cones, they are directly referring to bullet magnetism.
@@beki7408 there’s two types of aim assist. There’s aim assist slowdown and rotational aim assist. Rotational aim assist is the game moving the reticle for you to stick to the target you’re looking at while you’re strafing; this is also known as the Left Stick sim assist. Aim assist slowdown is the games tendency to slow down your sensitivity to make staying on target easier while you are turning your camera and your reticle moves past a dude; this is the right stick aim assist. Bullet magnetism has NOTHING to do with the two aim assist types. People think it is being influenced by aim assist because they are uninformed since bungie has a dedicated stat for each weapon called “aim assist” which is actually completely independent of the true aim assist functions of the game. The igneous hammer and the true prophecy are both 120 RPM hand cannons with different sim assist stats on their descriptions. This is misleading and is the reason people like you are confused. Both hand cannons have the same aim assist slowdown and reticle friction since they belong to the same archetype. The “aim assist” stat however is the “tendency of the bullet to curve” If you’re still too stubborn to admit that you’re wrong then I feel pity but, some food for thought; if you were correct, the “aim assist” stat wouldn’t work on PC if the aim assist stat was tied to actual aim assist. But it is not, which is why even though there’s no aim assist on PC, bullet magnetism still works, because bullet magnetism is tied to the WEAPON not the aim assist by the game.

Fugue-55 is my absolute favorite/best sniper I have max range and snapshot no distraction Feels good to lane and play aggressively I was so excited to craft beloved but turns out I love this sniper more
damn bruh i think the small reticle is what makes me love thoughtless. it is hte only sniper in the game that I am good with and I can hit my shots with. I have so many other sniper god rolls that i cant use at all but the thoughtless feels amazing
Occluded Finality is my go-to for the past 2 weeks, even more through the week of Iron Banner for 6/20-66/27 this year in Season 21. Supers were shut down immediately, clutch gameplays were had. Definitely S-tier.
i’m a hugeeee advocate for praedyths. very snappy, can get moving target and opening, and honestly doesn’t need snap bc of how high the handling already is
I have a Mercurial Overreach with snapshot + opening shot + short action stock + armor piercing. Only thing i wish was different was my masterwork which is reload speed. Still my best sniper so far. Thing is ridiculous
Thoughts for your thoughts: Frame differences - 90RPMs feel best overall and can roll enough handling where snap doesn’t feel required. 72rpm feel strongest in team comp settings - 1 shotting all supers and the extra body dmg goes a long way. I also rec 72rpm if you’re building into air effectiveness. The inherent high range means you don’t need range from your mag slot, and again, the body damage is easier for cleanups. 150rpms are mostly fun for 6s, so I’m more likely to keep some weird/unique rolls. Spec into range whenever possible, or you will start feeling like you’ve got ghost bullets tho
I personally prefer purely aggressive sniper rifles. Because, in my opinion - what's the point in rapid-fire / adaptive snipers if in PVP they can't kill super in the head in principle or without special perks for adaptive ones. And with the release of aggressive scout rifles (DMT and its discount version from the spire), which do only a dozen less damage to the head than rapid-fire snipers to the body, but they are incomparably easier to hit and they are on the main ammo, in PVP, rapid-fire snipers are generally not competitive right now, in my opinion. Moreover, neither the economy of ammo in PVP, nor the mobility of players will allow them to realize their rate of fire. I make an exception only for IKELOS, because I like the design of Rasputin and Seraphim. (I still think that all the weapons of IKELOS, which, according to lore, were designed by the most powerful warmind, should have been on an aggressive frame - the dumbest mistake of a bungee, in my opinion). In general - for some reason, bangs recently focus on adaptive and rapid-fire sniper rifles - meanwhile, aggressive ones are almost forgotten. We have a lot of adaptive and fast-firing rifles in both kinetic and energy slots - but at the same time there are only 3 (!) Aggressive kinetic snipers and one with strand energy - stasis has been around for 2 years - and still there is no aggressive sniper based on it. But there are already several adaptive and rapid-fire stasis snipers.

Hm. I don’t understand why Ikelos is Dogwater. It has surplus, it’s craftable and feels incredibly sticky. It’s a solid sniper, the only thing I can think of is not ideal perks, or the scope being a bit off putting. Also my main sniper being mid tier made me laugh (thoughtless) because I absolutely agree with you, it makes me motion sick too, but i click heads with that thing like crazy, and I personally love the small reticle, coupled with the telescope feel, blocking out the sides haha
I have a last foray solar snipe 72rpm, 100recoil, 55 zoom, arrowhead, accurised, perfect float, box breathing, feild tested, and I actually like it more than my other god roll snipes
Beloved is my favorite and I have by far and away more kills with it than any other sniper (any other individual weapon really), but from a purely objective standpoint it should be at the bottom of S tier, Eye of Sol and Yasmin are just better from a statistical standpoint, and Uzume being able to one shot supers more than compensates for the higher zoom.
I actually prefer rapid fires over adaptives so all of the 140s are some of my favorites. But i do understand the appeal of the adaptives and high impacts.
A big thing called double body. The fact that the others can easily double body bit the 140 snipers need that damage boost to get it really has a high selling point. Other than that stats and zooms aren't locked behind rpms so I'd say it's the double body possibility that holds it back

Far future is my fav sniper just love the sound an look. Got a quick open roll but really want to get slide opening the ads is a bit slow but with solar hunter its a bit better for with dragon shadow
OP: good stuff! GG IMHO: Sniper reticles (especially) need a separate brightness control with a choice of reticles, too, e.g., chevron, dot, etc... Half the time, I can't see stuff due to the reddish background or all the crazy explosions going off all at once.

After watching this video I hopped on and play some comp and I got the exact roll that you wanted fluted Accurized elemental capacitor snapshot and a handling masterwork...
While I was still playing actively, I swore by my Gallu. Snap/ Steady hands with a slightly different zoom to the fugue is already a solid hand, but it pairs with my adept unluckiness of rolling Harmony on primaries. Not always effective since my sniping is shit, but when it works... despite all the shit the game is going through right now, I am planning on grinding solstice just to get a Discord/Harmony Something New, specifically to pair with this Gallu. Don't knock it.
I have a moving target/celerity eye of sol and it’s better than the typical god roll. I have 86 handling with the stat bonus so it feels snappy. I don’t use targeting mods since it makes it feel too sticky for me but it’s pretty good. And I’m a 2.37 kd overall in trials with 250+ flawlesses so there is credibility in recommending this perk combo if you were lucky enough to get it
When i first started sniping i used Izi because the reticle is fat, about the same size of a guardians head kinda fat and has decent aa. Once the training wheels came off and i experimented mechabre, albruna, the long walk and occulded were fun(i like aggressives) but i finally caved and crafted a beloved and it feels so crispy since i trained with low handling snipers
@Awake_wl I will admit I still use izi from time to time if I need something else in the energy slot because I can just connect the dots with it but I am on the hunt for a kinetic slot sniper to free up the exotic and this video has narrowed my search by a bit for what I should be looking for. only one i really like from the trash tiers is Shepherd's Watch, small gun model is nice and I roll with Snapshot Under Pressure and it does nicely for my casual play lmao
I do want to argue that albruna-D has a great niche of having elemental capacitor which can make it the highest handling 72 rpm sniper in the game. Also has Snapshot to pair
Just got an Albruna with Snap+Elemental and range perks last week. 91 range + 91 Handling on Arc. And it feels sooo good with the 45 zoom. I think the only other aggressives that get elemental are Occluded(58 zoom) or Last Foray(55 zoom)

The one thing that can’t be accounted for or “scored” in a sniper list is the snipers “feel” More than any other weapon I will love or hate a snipe based on its overall feel which is of course a personal feeling different to everyone.
I am still relatively new to sniping, but i did find uzume really good. The feel is good, and like you said exactly sometimes it hits crazy shots lol. Cloudstrike is also really good. I crafted the supremacy, but it’s just okish I’d say. I don’t play PvE that much so I don’t have the Yasmin.

Imo the Irukandji is A tier for me with it's high handling and opening shot keep away roll it feels snappy and so sticky on top of that it has 40 zoom which I personally like the most
Finally a comprehensive PvP sniper comparison. I do have a question though about aim assist on PC for snipers. It feels nonexistent to me but you seem to still note it. Even having understanding on how aim assist works on PC versus controller, I still can't see the effect of aim, assist and/or range (which affects aim assist) on snipers. Would you mind clarifing?

I got lucky enough to get a moving target, snapshot adept eye of sol, but I actually found running celerity to be really good, especially in trials. with the massive handling bonus from celerity, i barely notice a difference in ads time from snapshot. Would like to hear your opinion on it.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents here, Shepards watch is actually pretty good. I use it since I don’t play destiny a crazy amount and I don’t have a good eye of sol. But I truly can’t find a better replacement for a kinetic sniper than my Shepards watch. The scope is nice, the stats a decent, and it’s just a good alternative for eye of sol.
I'm surprised Shepherds Watch and Praedyths Revenge are as low as they are. Shepherds comes with under pressure and, paired with snapshot, feels like a dream and hit shots way too often (in my experience at least) and I've only ever heard good things about Praedyths

I am actually shocked that the long walk played below far future. In what world Also yeah, the new comp sniper is insane. My first roll was snapshot opening shot and it literally ignore the flinch when shooting. It's actually insane how good this is
It’s so hard for me to find a good secondary sniper, all the ones with good perks I just don’t like how big it is or the scope such as 1000 ys. I wish I could use Yasmin and alone as a god in the secondary

As a returning player I got cloudstrike pretty easily and I have to say it's such a dumb weapon getting multikills are so satisfying

I used to main Veleda-D, which was the year 1 version of that sniper. Still haven’t gotten a good roll yet.

A distant pull crafted feels so good, I love that it has the circle reticle instead. I can not use that V reticle at all. Even without snapshot it feels so snappy

I lucked out on the mercurial overreach, getting a snapshot/elemental capacitor roll on my very first one. T he subsequent 7 were all pretty shit rolls so i stopped. I run Arc Titan because i'm hateful. I'm newish to PvP, having started in February, and even newer to snipers (started 2 weeks ago...still shit with them).
The Mercurial Overreach felt great immediately. I got a random world drop Overflow/Snapshot Gallu as well, but MO feels better for me. Now for the kinetic slot, I really enjoy Bite of the fox. I have a couple of snapshot/moving target and Explosive Payload/Snapshot.... but i'm really liking the Snapshot/Iron Gaze lol. I just got one with a range MW that i need to max out and try.

I agree Snap+Opening is pretty much the best combo on paper, but in practice I find myself gravitating toward no distractions whenever it’s available. I even swapped my Beloved to max handling enhanced ND + Moving Target earlier this season. Moving targets strafe is also huge for sniping on warlocks/titans with super low mobility.

You mention zoom having an interaction with aim assistance a lot in the video. The tl,dr is that on every weapon, zoom extends the aim assist cone just as it extends your damage fall-off. What this means is that the distance at which aim assist, that is bullet magnetism, stops working is further out compared to if the weapon has lower zoom. HOWEVER, on snipers and only snipers, higher zoom levels also increases the size of your aim assist cone, meaning your bullets will be able to bend more.
Aim assist is not bullet magnetism. Bullet magnetism has to do with how far off the hit box you can have a shot register as a hit. And aim assist is self explanatory.
@@c_l_a_d_d_i_x How can someone be this confidently incorrect? Bullet magnetism is what is affected by the aim assist stat. Whenever bungie makes a post mentioning buffing or nerfing aim assist cones, they are directly referring to bullet magnetism.
@@beki7408 there’s two types of aim assist. There’s aim assist slowdown and rotational aim assist. Rotational aim assist is the game moving the reticle for you to stick to the target you’re looking at while you’re strafing; this is also known as the Left Stick sim assist. Aim assist slowdown is the games tendency to slow down your sensitivity to make staying on target easier while you are turning your camera and your reticle moves past a dude; this is the right stick aim assist.
Bullet magnetism has NOTHING to do with the two aim assist types. People think it is being influenced by aim assist because they are uninformed since bungie has a dedicated stat for each weapon called “aim assist” which is actually completely independent of the true aim assist functions of the game.
The igneous hammer and the true prophecy are both 120 RPM hand cannons with different sim assist stats on their descriptions. This is misleading and is the reason people like you are confused. Both hand cannons have the same aim assist slowdown and reticle friction since they belong to the same archetype. The “aim assist” stat however is the “tendency of the bullet to curve”
If you’re still too stubborn to admit that you’re wrong then I feel pity but, some food for thought; if you were correct, the “aim assist” stat wouldn’t work on PC if the aim assist stat was tied to actual aim assist. But it is not, which is why even though there’s no aim assist on PC, bullet magnetism still works, because bullet magnetism is tied to the WEAPON not the aim assist by the game.

damn bruh i think the small reticle is what makes me love thoughtless. it is hte only sniper in the game that I am good with and I can hit my shots with. I have so many other sniper god rolls that i cant use at all but the thoughtless feels amazing
Occluded Finality is my go-to for the past 2 weeks, even more through the week of Iron Banner for 6/20-66/27 this year in Season 21. Supers were shut down immediately, clutch gameplays were had. Definitely S-tier.
i’m a hugeeee advocate for praedyths. very snappy, can get moving target and opening, and honestly doesn’t need snap bc of how high the handling already is
I got a moving target openings shot praedyths and that thing is headshot magnet. Literally never miss.

I have a Mercurial Overreach with snapshot + opening shot + short action stock + armor piercing. Only thing i wish was different was my masterwork which is reload speed. Still my best sniper so far. Thing is ridiculous
Thoughts for your thoughts:
Frame differences -
90RPMs feel best overall and can roll enough handling where snap doesn’t feel required.
72rpm feel strongest in team comp settings - 1 shotting all supers and the extra body dmg goes a long way. I also rec 72rpm if you’re building into air effectiveness. The inherent high range means you don’t need range from your mag slot, and again, the body damage is easier for cleanups.
150rpms are mostly fun for 6s, so I’m more likely to keep some weird/unique rolls. Spec into range whenever possible, or you will start feeling like you’ve got ghost bullets tho
I personally prefer purely aggressive sniper rifles.
Because, in my opinion - what's the point in rapid-fire / adaptive snipers if in PVP they can't kill super in the head in principle or without special perks for adaptive ones.
And with the release of aggressive scout rifles (DMT and its discount version from the spire), which do only a dozen less damage to the head than rapid-fire snipers to the body, but they are incomparably easier to hit and they are on the main ammo, in PVP, rapid-fire snipers are generally not competitive right now, in my opinion. Moreover, neither the economy of ammo in PVP, nor the mobility of players will allow them to realize their rate of fire.
I make an exception only for IKELOS, because I like the design of Rasputin and Seraphim. (I still think that all the weapons of IKELOS, which, according to lore, were designed by the most powerful warmind, should have been on an aggressive frame - the dumbest mistake of a bungee, in my opinion).
In general - for some reason, bangs recently focus on adaptive and rapid-fire sniper rifles - meanwhile, aggressive ones are almost forgotten.
We have a lot of adaptive and fast-firing rifles in both kinetic and energy slots - but at the same time there are only 3 (!) Aggressive kinetic snipers and one with strand energy - stasis has been around for 2 years - and still there is no aggressive sniper based on it. But there are already several adaptive and rapid-fire stasis snipers.
Far Future still holds up. Just got an amazing roll from Banshee, and even I can hang with it (and I suck).
Out of curiosity, do you use mnk or controller? And would you change this list for the other input device?

Hm. I don’t understand why Ikelos is Dogwater. It has surplus, it’s craftable and feels incredibly sticky. It’s a solid sniper, the only thing I can think of is not ideal perks, or the scope being a bit off putting. Also my main sniper being mid tier made me laugh (thoughtless) because I absolutely agree with you, it makes me motion sick too, but i click heads with that thing like crazy, and I personally love the small reticle, coupled with the telescope feel, blocking out the sides haha

I have a last foray solar snipe 72rpm, 100recoil, 55 zoom, arrowhead, accurised, perfect float, box breathing, feild tested, and I actually like it more than my other god roll snipes
Keep an eye out for the gallu banshee sold it once with those perks
Beloved is my favorite and I have by far and away more kills with it than any other sniper (any other individual weapon really), but from a purely objective standpoint it should be at the bottom of S tier, Eye of Sol and Yasmin are just better from a statistical standpoint, and Uzume being able to one shot supers more than compensates for the higher zoom.
I think between all of those it really comes down to zoom preference they all get very close to 100 AA
I actually prefer rapid fires over adaptives so all of the 140s are some of my favorites. But i do understand the appeal of the adaptives and high impacts.
A big thing called double body. The fact that the others can easily double body bit the 140 snipers need that damage boost to get it really has a high selling point. Other than that stats and zooms aren't locked behind rpms so I'd say it's the double body possibility that holds it back
The reason I don't uses 140s is because you can't consistently no scope melee people

IMHO: Sniper reticles (especially) need a separate brightness control with a choice of reticles, too, e.g., chevron, dot, etc...
Half the time, I can't see stuff due to the reddish background or all the crazy explosions going off all at once.

After watching this video I hopped on and play some comp and I got the exact roll that you wanted fluted Accurized elemental capacitor snapshot and a handling masterwork...
While I was still playing actively, I swore by my Gallu. Snap/ Steady hands with a slightly different zoom to the fugue is already a solid hand, but it pairs with my adept unluckiness of rolling Harmony on primaries. Not always effective since my sniping is shit, but when it works... despite all the shit the game is going through right now, I am planning on grinding solstice just to get a Discord/Harmony Something New, specifically to pair with this Gallu. Don't knock it.
I have every sniper rifle on this list,but for me as personal feeling 1000 yarde stare and eye of sol are best! Probably for the scope and zoom value
I have a moving target/celerity eye of sol and it’s better than the typical god roll. I have 86 handling with the stat bonus so it feels snappy. I don’t use targeting mods since it makes it feel too sticky for me but it’s pretty good. And I’m a 2.37 kd overall in trials with 250+ flawlesses so there is credibility in recommending this perk combo if you were lucky enough to get it
When i first started sniping i used Izi because the reticle is fat, about the same size of a guardians head kinda fat and has decent aa. Once the training wheels came off and i experimented mechabre, albruna, the long walk and occulded were fun(i like aggressives) but i finally caved and crafted a beloved and it feels so crispy since i trained with low handling snipers
Yeah I will say as you get better at it you’ll find handling to be more important than anything else really
@Awake_wl I will admit I still use izi from time to time if I need something else in the energy slot because I can just connect the dots with it but I am on the hunt for a kinetic slot sniper to free up the exotic and this video has narrowed my search by a bit for what I should be looking for. Ikelos sr is my favourite sniper in the whole game because it feels so good and unique.
only one i really like from the trash tiers is Shepherd's Watch, small gun model is nice and I roll with Snapshot Under Pressure and it does nicely for my casual play lmao

I do want to argue that albruna-D has a great niche of having elemental capacitor which can make it the highest handling 72 rpm sniper in the game. Also has Snapshot to pair
Just got an Albruna with Snap+Elemental and range perks last week.
91 range + 91 Handling on Arc. And it feels sooo good with the 45 zoom. I think the only other aggressives that get elemental are Occluded(58 zoom) or Last Foray(55 zoom)

The one thing that can’t be accounted for or “scored” in a sniper list is the snipers “feel”
More than any other weapon I will love or hate a snipe based on its overall feel which is of course a personal feeling different to everyone.
I got really lucky and got the snapshot elemental capacitor on the MO, handling masterwork. Thing is insane.
It’s different for each player. I saw Shepards Watch in C tier but I have like 600 plus kills on mine with No Distractions and Snapshot.
I am still relatively new to sniping, but i did find uzume really good. The feel is good, and like you said exactly sometimes it hits crazy shots lol. Cloudstrike is also really good. I crafted the supremacy, but it’s just okish I’d say. I don’t play PvE that much so I don’t have the Yasmin.
Sad thing about Sole Survivor is that it used to have Slideshot/Snapshot as a combo. Could have been better this season.

Imo the Irukandji is A tier for me with it's high handling and opening shot keep away roll it feels snappy and so sticky on top of that it has 40 zoom which I personally like the most
I have 677 crucible kills with the kf raid sniper and the role is decent except for the first perk being shoot to loot
My number 1 sniper has to be Yasmin. Would definitely switch to eye of Sol tho is they brought it back with opening and snap

Finally a comprehensive PvP sniper comparison. I do have a question though about aim assist on PC for snipers. It feels nonexistent to me but you seem to still note it. Even having understanding on how aim assist works on PC versus controller, I still can't see the effect of aim, assist and/or range (which affects aim assist) on snipers. Would you mind clarifing?

I got lucky enough to get a moving target, snapshot adept eye of sol, but I actually found running celerity to be really good, especially in trials. with the massive handling bonus from celerity, i barely notice a difference in ads time from snapshot. Would like to hear your opinion on it.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents here, Shepards watch is actually pretty good. I use it since I don’t play destiny a crazy amount and I don’t have a good eye of sol. But I truly can’t find a better replacement for a kinetic sniper than my Shepards watch. The scope is nice, the stats a decent, and it’s just a good alternative for eye of sol.
I'm surprised Shepherds Watch and Praedyths Revenge are as low as they are. Shepherds comes with under pressure and, paired with snapshot, feels like a dream and hit shots way too often (in my experience at least) and I've only ever heard good things about Praedyths

If you haven't tried it you should definitely pick up a darci. It's kind of comedically good for a sniper even if it's bad for a heavy
