So I have my own opinions with regards to age gap relationships but I'm saying this relationship won't work for different reason.
Harris is pretty hot tempered and impulsive and Aldo seems pretty immature from what his father has told Dan which is what lead his ex wife to drugs because he wasn't stepping up the plate. I honestly believe that relationships should make you want to change for the better. Losing Roseanne made Dan and better father but Harris and Aldo are free-spirited firebrands who won’t temper each other’s worst impulses.
Add to the fact that Harris is most likely going to try and stay with Aldo to prove everyone in her family wrong. Which is a 🚩.
My guess is that Harris tries to help be a mother figure to Aldo's kids and she sees being a stepmom is a thankless job especially if the kids won't listen to her. Sees how she actually has responsibilities and isn't able to rely on her family to help her with regards to babysitting, schoolwork, keeping up with the house because they are giving her a reality check. My guess is that Harris is going to realize she doesn't want this because Aldo isn't stepping up. But she realizes she's stuck unless she swallows her pride and apologizes to her mom, and maybe Darlene apologizes to Harris as well for her actions.
Just let the show die and the actors can stop embarrassing themselves.
I'd love to SEE the show, so turn the lights on.

It seems like the issues they are dealing with were all done on the original Rosanne show. Harris's plot line seems like a rerun of Becky leaving school at 17 to go be with Mark in Minnesota and ruining her life. They need new material.
