      You showed us absolutely nothing. You couldn't even hold the leather up to the camera, still, for any length of time, to focus and show us the results. 0/10

    Good job on the weight loss. I am trying it myself and your method is the best for not regaining it back. I think the punch is a cleaner look Thank you for sharing

      Thanks for your comment! Good luck on the weight loss and hope the hole with the punch method works well for you! That was my preference as well after trying both.

      Hey, just came here to find out how to make a new hole into my almost new leather belt because I lost some weight lately. My doctor prescribed me those inject pens (here its called Saxenda) and it'S usually for diabetics but work perfectly, because you are not hungry at all, I have to force myself into eating and I'm loosing weight like never before. Try to ask your doctor, in Czech republic it's pretty common now but since it's a drug you'll need a prescription. 100 % legal and under doctor's supervision. Good luck my friend.

    I mean a punch is obviously the best method. It's likely what they use in the factory. But for somebody with a 10$ Walmart belt they like too much the drill is a perfectly fine way of doing it. Great work.

    I can’t see the drilling cus of your hand but I suppose it ain't a mystery, hehe. Maybe just consider the angle of the camera next time, maybe moving the camera for that part. Good video overall! Your verbal explanation was very good 👍💕 and congrats on the weightloss!

      It is holding up well a couple years later. I would opt for the punch method doing it again as the drill can be more messy, but when the drill is nearby and you are going for fast over pretty, I’d do it again in a pinch. Certainly not with a nice belt though. Thanks for the comment!

    Can I do this with boots ?

    • @DIYNate
      @DIYNate  Год назад

      Not sure how well the drill would work without causing the leather to split with boots but I imagine a punch could create a hole pretty well. Good luck!
