I just spend like 3 hours researching the best blue tooth adapters for my switch considering what features I wanted it to have. The first one I found was the OG Home Spot one, but then I later saw Genki and Gulikit. For like an hour I was debating which of the two I wanted. After watching one of your previous videos comparing the two, I decided on the Genki..... until I saw this video. LMAO. Definitely gonna wait for this. Just wish Nintendo themselves include Bluetooth functionality with the Nintendo Switch itself as it's probably cheap to add in as phones themselves have both options with headphone jack and Bluetooth capabilities 😎

Just got mine today let me just say this thing is amazing in my opinion a must buy for switch owners
When I first got my Switch, I was looking for a way to wirelessly connect my computer and my Switch to my Echo Studio, since constantly moving wires sucks and the Studio supports better quality audio over Bluetooth. I couldn't find anything capable of that short of a home theater. This is so useful, and not just for the Switch. As far as I know, this is the only wireless adapter that connects to two input devices simultaneously.
It's absurd that third party accessory companies are taking care of an issue that Nintendo created themselves. And Nintendo doesn't even address it!
This looks like a great product. Honestly, the case incompatibility is a real deal breaker for me. But thanks for the work put into this video!
It is pretty absurd, I agree! And I totally understand the case compatibility being a deal breaker, that being said the product isn’t out yet so with enough demand hopefully HomeSpot will make a version that is case compatible. They said they’ll be reading the comments so PLEASE HomeSpot 🙏🏼

Follow up question, when you mention case compatibility, did you mean cases like the Skull and co, or grips like the Satisfye?
I just purchased the Genki and Gulikit pro+ just before watching this video.
I meant traditional cases like the Skull and Co that cover the bottom of the switch. The Satisfye grip isn’t a traditional case, it’s just a grip because it doesn’t cover the top or bottom so it works with every single Bluetooth adapter
Then I definitely retract my "not for me" statement. I know your not a fan of the Satisfye grip, but could you confirm if the Homespot pro fits with the Satisfye grip on?

Wow this is awesome. I currently am able to do this with the turtle beach stealth 700p. It has a wireless usb dongle for the game sound and connects my phone via bluetooth. Giving me both game a phone audio to the headset at the same time.

Solution for charging and using adapter get the hori play stand with the charger the connect the usb c to usb adapter to the Bluetooth adapter.primarily works for table top mode

Do you have the second gen Dobe grip controller? And if so, do any of the BT devices work with it?
I have the first gen and it doesn’t power up the Skull & Co device.

The Pro is better in every way. Not much sense buying the old model when the the pro has upgraded every function and added functions that are not available on any other BT adapter. This is definitely the best BT Adapter for Switch on the market. All others are now obsolete.

uhh its 2021 i wondering can now just plug in some old school headphones into the switch and download some in-app that plays music, so u can listen to music while u game ?

I like listening to Pandora when I play my games and love how you can listen to both game effects and music at the same time. The Genki is better if you don’t care about voice chat and want pass through charging. But yeah the slimmer profile of the HomeSpot is really nice, just wish they made a case compatible version, same with Genki.

Honestly I prefer Grey because I get bored of the colors pretty quick. If you got lots of Joy-Con then you can swap them out every so often but if you just have one pair go with grey 👌

What I don't like about the charging pass through ones is that theyre too bulky. I like the low pass profile ones vause I have to worry less about damaginging the USB C port on my Switch which being that there is only one is something you need to protect. I ordered the Ugreen 5instead after seing this. I don't get all the bells and whistles but its low latency through the mic jack. You have to charge it and it has an 8 hour life but I'd rather have than thab not being able to plug and charge my switch while playing. This is cool though. If it had usb pass through I sacrifice it being a little bigger. Not too big though. 😅

Although Nintendo needs to add sound options in AC so the music doesn’t overlap. Was there sound options in previous games because it’s weird they aren’t present in the game.

One of the problems I had with the original homespot adapter was that after waking the switch back up from sleep mode the adapter wasn't connected to my blu tooth headset anymore and I had to re-pair it every time I woke my switch up. Does the pro have this issue?
Well every Bluetooth adapter will disconcert when you put the Switch in sleep mode because the adapters can not use power then. But all you have to do is press the button once and it will instantly connect again. You don’t have to re-pair it every time.
