Much better chance of escaping flood in the drought areas, I'm in southeast Ohio and we are in severe drought. WE got a thunderstorm last week and it rained pretty good and the next day the ground was bone dry.

Hi, I live in Indiana and you’re right, the Ohio valley and areas west of it are in a dusty dry serious drought, unlike any I have seen in maybe 5 years. If things don’t change soon, this could get worse. Aside from the hurricane remnants at end of September (when we got about 4” of rain), we have had no genuine precipitation since sometime in July. Granted, nice beautiful weather, but there is concern about trees. Thank you for taking this matter seriously, instead of focusing on making the dry-weather lovers happy!

Idk man possibly I missed something but I’ve noticed this a lot with your misleading titles. The way you chose to use the word will shows certainty. If no rain comes to my SW Ohio area, I'm gonna start doing weekly rain dances in my backyard. It is currently so dry that my garden bed (I emptied to move) was dry 2 FEET down and I watered my garden daily. The logs on the bottom were damp but not much.
I live in AL, about 45 minutes from the Gulf. We’ve not had a decent, soaking rain in weeks and weeks. It always seems to dissipate or split and go around us. I’m praying for a soaking rain. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hawaii has weather today, Heavy rain! We have flood warnings and everything. Rare for this southern part of Oahu. The rain's usually blocked from coming to this area, Waikiki and surrounding area, by the Ko'olau mountains.

This happens because of the coriolis' affect. Storms going south will bounce off the equator. If it somehow penetrates it, the storm won't be able to spin.
Being, let's say, "SEASONED," I find nothing at all SHOCKING about this up and coming weather. Yes, I've been around long enough to have witnessed a few anomalies, but to pin this as shocking is totally unfounded, though I understand why. I live in northern ND, and I guess some weather page in Canada posted on FB that we‘re getting 15 inches of snow this week 🫠 My coworkers are all convinced it’s true despite me telling them I’ve seen nothing on NWS/NOAA/etc supporting a big snow event. I’ll try showing them your updates next 😂

I’m scared. I hope it doesn’t hit New York in the Rochester area. Has there ever been a tornado or earthquake in upstate ny. I do remember a lot of people died not too long ago in Buffalo from a snowstorm.

Why doesn't these storms go to south America? Why does it always come from Africa and hits the east costs.
This happens because of the coriolis' affect. Storms going south will bounce off the equator. If it somehow penetrates it, the storm won't be able to spin.
Being, let's say, "SEASONED," I find nothing at all SHOCKING about this up and coming weather. Yes, I've been around long enough to have witnessed a few anomalies, but to pin this as shocking is totally unfounded, though I understand why. In any event Max, you haven't been caught on Diddy's vids so I guess you're doing alright. 😜
