The outro almost made me feel like I finished watching a 35 year old journey comeing to and end or something.
it truly was beautiful.
@@damonmcfarland9364 the whole episode I felt like was really good but there are naysayers out there who seem to not like it.

Well true, but still the Balance in the Future will Know, i love this Episode and Special the Intro, Outro ♥. ;) 🌊🐋
The overall soundtrack of this episode is awesome.
Its like greeting an old friend.
The first contact tune has always been my favourite! I liked how, through the episode, there were "call back" moments in the soundtrack without completely ripping them off.
I associate that theme with TNG more than the usual Goldsmith theme. I always thought they needed their own original theme vs using the The Motion Picture's theme.
It makes me so happy, but the same time so sad that it couldn't be like that from the beginning. Why is it so good now when it's ending?
Because all good things…
A show runner that actually knows what he’s doing.
Because kurzman wasn't involved
@@emperorsean1 he’s literally an executive producer but haters gonna hate
Yeah Picard is an unbelievable mess. Season 1 was mid but 2 was truly cheap, awfully written and all-around a joke. If 3 is good to the end, at least it doesn't depend on the first 2 seasons. I'll never see them again
Wow that felt great. The possible irony behind the season 3 Picard being the final one is that it'll probably be so damn good that all ST fans will write in demanding a season 4.
Yeah. Accurate. I literally burst into tears at the music transition midway through.
You know, for me, part of what specifically the First Contact music does for me is, on the face of it, yes it reminds me of that film and TNG in its prime, but what makes it more impactful today is that I remember how I young I was in 1996, all of the things that have happened in my life since, all the people I've lost, and those that I've gained. So, the music goes deeper than the movie for me.
I'm rambling.
I can really relate to this sentiment. Ramble on.
This is exactly why I get emotional now too. I lose it whenever I watch Superman and little Kal-El lifts the old Ford pick-up and I hear John Williams score, and its because I'm overwhelmed by how much in my life has changed from the first time I saw it till now.
When I watch old episodes of TNG and watch the intro I remember my childhood, I remember watching it as a family on BBC 2, and I remember my father who pretended not to be too interested but one day years later watching an episode of DS9 he asked me, "what's O,Brien doing there?" And I did a double take as I realised for the first time he DID care and he had been paying attention all those years and seeing a sly smile creep over his face as he realised he'd been caught... and tears start streaming down my face... RIP Dad.
So I'm not the only one bawling like a baby? Good to know...
I grew up watching the OS on a black and white as a child. TNG was so big that we always took our break from D&D on Saturday evenings to watch it, then back to gaming right after. Yes, that outro moved me to tears, and I'll be 55 this year.
I watched TNG reruns after school every day in the 90s, this theme gives me the goosebumps and tears 😭
Glad to see Voyager at the fleet museum ☺️
i said the same thing
...AND the Enterprise A and the OG Excelsior!
OK this was hilarious! 😆 I clicked on thinking 'are we now doing reaction videos to credits now??' Well played!
Oh, wow… this outro, quite literally, hits all the right nostalgic notes, from the LCARS screens to Jerry Goldsmith’s main title theme from First Contact (one of my favorite Star Trek movie themes). Sadly, I don’t have Paramount+, so I’ll have to wait until Picard Season 3 is on blu-ray or DVD.
Friend, pay the $10.
@@BobbyD262 - Wish I could, but I don’t have an up-to-date “smart TV”, and even though I have a Fire Stick that I got for Christmas, my TV has one HDMI port, and it’s hooked up to cable. I need one of those HDMI switches that expands the number of available HDMI ports, because it’s a bit cheaper than buying a new TV set.
I can imagine how mundane it is watching computer screens daily for Star Trek people, but to have a cinematic style of everything it along with the First Contact music I was completely brought to tears and it was so therapeutic I could watch computer screens everyday. I cannot wait to see these credits in the upcoming episodes I'll never skip them.
Star Trek Picard season 3 was the last Trek I got to watch with my dad before he passed away;
these ending credits always remind me of sitting on the couch with him, discussing our thoughts and theories after each episode
This video captures perfectly what I feel like watching them now
They nailed every single feel we had as fans.
Brought a tear to me eye
Oh be quiet.
How did you manage to film me while I was watching the Credits?
Perfect!!!!
I love, love, love ❤️ this score from first contact, I remember hearing it in the theater for the first time and immediately Falling in love with it 🥰 in the movie theater. So happy they brought it back as it is the definitive sound track for the next gen crew in my opinion.
Its details like this that you KNOW whoever is running the show knows and loves Star Trek. Kurtzman and Akiva Goldsman. Know OF Star Trek, but they aren’t fans. They dont love it. Have you ever seen an interview with Alex Kurtzman where he seemed passionate about Star Trek? I haven’t. Terry Matalas brought the LOVE for Trek back and it shows.
They love their LCARS in S3 for sure. Me too ❤️
It finally looks like Trek again and like an actual evolution of the Okudagrams 😍
@@xamalion7334 It's amazing what you can to with todays OLED and beamer technology.
Star Trek Is…..Finally…..Back!
Star Trek is back finally!
I was like that almost all the way through the episode. The studios been getting it wrong for so long been wanting this so bad. Guess best get big box of hankies for rest of the series.
Yeah, this was kind of me too. It was a thing of beauty.
That was my reaction too. Especially when seeing the Enterprise-A, Excelsior, and Voyager in the Fleet Museum! Hope we see them for real in the show!
This outro hit me like a freight train....it really felt like an ode to all my love for star trek over the years....memories of religiously watching Next Generation and Voyager with my brother.....this was the first time I did not want the credits to end. Just beautiful.
Ever since first contact, I’ve loved this so much.
Such a stunning outro. As soon as I heard it, I instantly regonised it.
- For Annie. -
ABOUT TIME THEY USED GOLDSMITH MUSIC
Yup that was me while watching it lol
Did anyone notice the Ensign Frakes character looks at when he came onboard for the inspection? I’m sure it’s the actor that dies in Wrath of Khan
This was me
God damn that's accurate.
This is ridiculously accurate.
just watched this and *holy cow!*
So accurate lol
Exactly my reaction.
Why did it have to suck so bad and get good in season 3?? Were they trying to repeat the history of TNG??
I can't believe I missed this obvious clue.
Yep!
We ignore the underweak Try of this Lifeform , to come, to the Focus, who brings then together, without a Reason, just to put in Lights as a Shield . ;)
Nailt it!!!
We have a winner 🤩
Me for sure haha
Facts bro.....FACTS!!!!
Well...Exactly!
We're home bois...finally.
@@iden4993 crossing the final frontier
I'm not alone.
The music mines all of the best of the past. From Horner and McCarthy, to Goldsmith and Courage.
MURPH!!!
Real.
whyyy is this meee
That is my reaction 1:1
Well said .. 😭
Accurate af
I had the same reaction
Where is porthos?
Here in my quarters- about 250 years in the past.
Lieutenant Commander data please turn off your emotion chip
Holy sh*t the reaction to this show is sad
only the first 5 mins was extream shit but the rest was quit good...phaser shot gun ...
The problem I have with this outro, its super nostalgic and its good but its also really badly engineered it feels like the nemesis outro, like they didn't know what to do with the end of nemesis so they just cobbled the end track from pieces. I love it and i hate it.
Too much, too late.
using the first contact theme is totally unearned and cheap
This is really cringe. This sweaty grown guy crying online for clicks and views will be mocked by future generations.
Ummm it’s Christian Bale. It’s from a movie - which I can’t recall at the moment. But chill, it’s not a real person. It’s a joke.
