    I love your videos you do a great job at picking up the sound of the bike. So many others try to cut that out. I’ve been sport touring for a long time now and when I watch your videos it instantly takes me back to one of my rides.
    Great job

    Nice video. May I ask what time of year you did this trip? I'm planning a group ride in the same area for mid-June. I'm a little concerned that it might be hot.

      Disregard...I see it's right there in the title screen....early September.

      @@1767SR Yep, that's correct. It will probably be warm, but maybe not as warm? This trip was in the middle of a brutal heat wave.

    This is my first video of yours I've watched. I'm so impressed! I am looking to do a trip to southern Utah this year. I see you have a whole series so I am anxious to watch them all. Heck with the Super Bowl! LOL! Unfortunately your map link is dead. I'm hopeful you can get it fixed. I'd love to find your route. SUBSCRIBED!

      It looks like I really screwed up and deleted all the maps for this trip a few months ago. I was obviously in declutter mode that day. I've re-upped this day and will try to get the others fixed too, but likely not today. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1ULN2ZRh9tdxOGkmWqlB_y9NwLoMAd2Gu&usp=sharing
      Glad you found the video helpful. The Utah stuff actually gets even better after this video. I'm thinking about going back this year. :)

      I think I got the maps all fixed but if you find one missing or it's the wrong day, let me know and I'll be happy to try to get you square away. Thanks for letting me know about the broken links 👍

    Really enjoy all your videos! Thanks for sharing. Do you post your routes anywhere? I'm always pausing when I see your route w/Google Maps open trying to figure out exactly where you are. :-D

    • @Tiger993
      @Tiger993  3 года назад

      Glad you enjoy them! I don't post routes anywhere but am always happy to share if there is a specific interest in one of them. Like you, I also have a tendency to pause a video to look up someone's route on the map, so I get it!
      To be honest, I either forget or I just don't bother to put a map up on a lot of the videos because of the extra steps. But I appreciate your comment regarding the map and I'll try to do better, at least putting up a map of that day's route.
      Actually, I just had a thought: what if I added a link down in the video description area that went to the Google Map for that day's route? That way, someone could open the map and have the route right in front of them. I might play around with that.....any thoughts?

      @@Tiger993 That would be great if it's not too much hassle! Otherwise, even just pausing your camera over the map for a second longer when you get on the bike each day on your next trip would give me enough to go on. ;-)

      @@johnshields7707 have a look in the video description of this video. I have now added a Google Maps link showing the day's route and a few of the points of interest. I'll also be sure to incorporate a map view into future videos as I've done on occasion in the past. Thank you for the suggestion!

      @@Tiger993 I hope to take a trip like this in the near future, I recently bought a KLR650 and I am getting it ready, is not the ideal bike but it will get the job done, I took the trip to Colorado following your tips on September 2019 and it was awesome.

      @CSI AUTO DETAIL, I remember you putting together your Colorado trip. The KLR will be a great bike on a trip like this. One suggestion is that before you head off on a long adventure, take some shorter trips closer to home, especially taking the bike off road. You'll want to "learn" how the new bike needs to be packed so luggage isn't flopping all over the place as you ride down bumpy roads. You also need to "learn" what screws, nuts, bolts, etc. you need to keep an eye on as the bike goes down bumpy roads. Lots of parts can start to come loose when you go off pavement!
