Those devices are awesome, got a similar one a week ago, they will even tell you when the cables are crossed 🤞 and strength of batter and an override function. It’s worth having one for anyone with a 3 year old plus 🔋 battery
I have a TrekPower battery pack. In my experience, you should bring it back up to full charge at least once a month. I haven't used mine for several months and when I needed it to day, It only has a 25% charge. I'm at home, so its on the charger for a couple of hours. But don't throw it in the trunk and expect it to save your bacon out in the middle of nowhere, 6 months later. His recommended brand may last longer.

I'm confused. Every single time in my entire life that I attach negative to a metal piece like a bracket, the engine block or the frame, nothing ever happens. No car or forklift has ever, in my 31 years, turned over that way. But negative cable to negative terminal? Works flawlessly every single time. Why is this? My battery died this morning so I tried it your way in the video and the lights came on, but when I started it, everything had a full blown seizure and freaked out. I did it my way, and it worked like a charm. - Car off - Lights and everything off - Charger off - Positive to positive - Negative to NEGATIVE and not to the frame or engine block or anything - Charger on - Car on Just did it that way and it's currently running. So what gives?
I just helped out someone in parking lot that needed a jump and I had my trusty jump pack with me. Similar issue to you... we connected black to a screw, no go. Then I moved black to another metal part of the chassis, again no go. Black on negative terminal and it fired right up. Instructions on the jump pack said black on engine ground... I suppose I'll do it their way twice and my way if it doesn't work by that point. I keep a Jump-N-Carry JNC660 in every vehicle. I got them after seeing that's what the tow truck driver pulled out when getting helped out years ago. Just remember to keep them charged :)
I have a dead battery now. Going to try it the way the video suggested just to see if I have a similar issue. I will come back to the comment and edit it to tell y'all my findings.

It never needs charging and will jump start your car in a few minutes and will last longer than a traditional battery charger. A did some research on it and a trusted source recommended it. People love this thing! Its called "Autowit Supercap 2"! It is a super capacitor! Check it out on RUclips! I will buy one soon!
Excellent video and thank you, just wondering when using a jump starter or booster pack, some video says, connecting negative end to ground and some says negative end of the starter or pack connect to negative terminal of battery, which one is the standard or correct way, for a normal cable jumping, negative end goes to ground of vehicle with dead battery.
I might be wrong, but isnt jumping a battery pushing some serious amps, and therefor its pretty dangerous to ground it to "whatever", since not all wires are thick enough to handle that?
So what about a dead dead battery? No lights, nothing. How long do i leave the battery starter/cables connected? Do i need to turn the key to start position while its jumping?
I came back from a week long vacation and my truck battery got drained because it was parked in freezing weather. I had to pay a guy $100 to jump start my truck!
I just tried to start my car with similar car starter and nothing. Then with normal big battery and it worked. I quess if your battery is really dried you cant charge it with this little one. (I quess his battery wasnt drained becouse it took just 2% that is not normal)
But that won't help you if your car won't start due to corrosion on your terminals. You will need, a 10 MM wrench to take the connector off the battery and a wire brush to clean the terminals. In my case I couldn't even get the negative connector off after loosening the nut so I also needed many other tools such as a small crowbar to get the damn thing off.
Oddly enough i was doing this on a 2.0 fusion too. Those batteries from motorcraft are shit. And ig it was dead dead b/c my battery pack didnt work and i thought i was stupid and didnt connect the capacitor portion correct to the battery or had to wait to build up a charge.
I've made the mistake of watching too many of these vids because I'm getting conflicting info. Most instructed me to plug the cables into the starter before attaching to my car. Some then attach red first followed by black. After the car is jumped, some say unclamp from red first, then black, which is the opposite of what you say. UGH
My Audew Epower 155 jumper USUALLY uses 2% to maybe 5% to jump my camry.... ..... but the last time I used it littorally less than an hour ago it was charged up to 38% and it took several attempts pressing the boost button in response to flashing green light to get my car to finally start and it drained the booster pack from 38% to 22% 🤨🤔 Is there an electrician thats can please explain? Or maybe I have a faulty unit?
@@raptureangel5409 it has a dualist gold under the hood..... it wasn't the battery's fault but actually my fault 🤷..... I left the key on with the stereo on for so long that the windows an locks almost didn't work at all.....

You can't leave it in your car. The jumper pack will eventually go dead too especially in cold Canadian winters.

The negative of the battery is connected to the chassis of the car. So almost any metal surface is negative.
The instructions on my battery jump kit say to disconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative… 🤔

Any 12V battery yes. However if the motor is very big, like a huge boat, it might not have enough power to spin the engine.

Jumper leads are not a thing of the past, every car should carry them. I do, however, also carry a battery pack, which is my 1st choice to use.

I have an Audew too, it was so good, the guy tried to keep it, and he was a boss! Just keep charging it. Get a good battery for your Camry.
