I realise now that I probably will never really NEED one again, I did when I was younger, and there is nothing in the world that can buy back those years that were robbed from me. I have spent the last two to three years starting to question a lot about my childhood and what my father did and I really lost all hope in having a father figure. I found this channel a few days ago and I cried, because you have given me hope, although you can’t replace my dad, you have given me much comfort knowing that there are good fathers around. Your children are the luckiest in the world. You have put more effort into my childhood than my dad. Thank you so much. The world needs more fathers like you:)
Happy birthday y'all! This channel is so comforting to watch, just seeing him reassure you that you got this. I do have a father, but sometimes I feel like he is pretty discouraging, even though he tries. I like to remember that fathers may fail us, but there's a Father in Heaven that loves us perfectly :)

I have a great Dad, but for those of you whose father is no longer around, or for those who didn't do so great in the Dad department, this Dad is amazing.
My dad passed away from cancer two years ago and as a young woman, I felt there was still so much I wanted to learn from him. Thank you for sharing your “dad” wisdom. Grateful that God put it on your heart to share your “dad” heart with the internet ❤️.
I lost my father 4 years ago, I could never learn anything about this from him. I really think this is the noblest task a person can do, thank you for everything.
I lost my dad suddenly a year ago. He was my best friend, dad and I lived for him - this makes me feel that warmth and love that I oh so miss! Thank you so much for these :)
I have a dad and he taught me most of these things. Unfortunately, we're all getting older and the time is fast-approaching where I'll have to be the one to take care of him. Everyone has a father, but not everyone has a dad. I'm one of those lucky enough. To those who are likewise lucky, cherish them as long and as often as you can. To those who are not as lucky, bless this man for making life a little bit easier.
i just had a panic attack due to something my parents said about me and my grades and this really helped me to calm down. thank you so much for what you do.
So, I have a request. My parents said that mowing a lawn would be a good chore for me, but I don’t know how to mow a lawn. So you should make a video of how to mow a lawn!
Basically, for your standard gas mower, at the beginning of the season check the oil and fill it to the appropriate amount and fill the gas up. You should check the oil every once in a while. Anyways, the first time you start up the mower in the spring it's going to take a few goes at pulling the cord. Pull quite hard and straight back, not to the side. Once the lawnmower gets started, the actual mowing is fairly easy. Just make sure that the height adjuster is at a good height for the grass. Avoid rocks, sticks etc. Bad for the motor. If the lawn is fairly flat then u can just go back and forth in lines. If there are hills, be very careful with the mower going down. Lawnmowing, itself isn't that hard, however you should practice on your lawn at least once before doing someone else's. Btw, scout out the property to make sure there are no hidden poles, rocks etc, cuz that'll kill your mower Btw forgot to mention but super important, you can't mow if the grass is wet. The grass just won't cut, if the ground is wet but the grass is dry then you can mow but it is just a bit more difficult. However, depends how wet the ground is cuz you'll just make the entire lawn a mudslide if the ground is super wet, if its damp you'll ve fine though.
Someone tell me why I just watched this video even though I've jump started cars like a hundred times. Oh yeah, cuz this dude is just awesome. " Hey kids " puts a weird massive smile on my a face. Keep it up dad!
Thank you! You are now my internet dad. My dad was an alcoholic absentee my entire life. I’m now 53 raising my own kids. My college age sons car battery dies this morning-- I did t k ow what to do so I looked online. I found YOU! And together my son and I watched your video and learned how to start the battery. I hope u know how many people you are helping. Just the way you talk to us-- thank you. 😘😘
my country actually taught this things, not jump start but they taught bout toilet parts so we know where is the problem and fix it. not only toilet but sink and pipe, screw, nail, hammer etc, electrics and electronics bulb even build something using playwood we also learn how to sew, cook, plant but sadly from year 2017 they replace that subject with computer science and design&tech. The subject is called life skill
lolololo lalallaala That definitely sounds beneficial. At school we were only taught briefly on electrical stuff, but learnt how to sew and cook and had woodwork mandatory aswell. They really need a class called life skills
S Reece It’s the crazy the amount of depth you could go into. Coming out of school I felt like I wasn’t really taught a great deal about the things that mattered, like how to do my taxes, how to read paychecks, how to do literally anything involving a bank lol. Even something as simple as being told the difference between casual, part time and fulltime working, I thought casual and part time were the same thing. There is just so much potential on the things that could be discussed, it’s amazing there isnt already a class dedicated to it
I'll be 44 this year. My dad died last year. And even though I know everything already that you post about it still makes me smile watching your videos. thank you for taking my dad's spot a couple minutes at a time. I miss him so much.
He probably had a bad dad that didn’t teach him to comunícate well and he is continuing the cycle. Be better and let the cycle end improve the generation. I’m proud of you son
I will watch this several more times. I keep forgetting this info because I don't have to use jumper cables often. "Dad," I do have them (the extra long ones) in the back of my car though! My father has been gone for 20 years, and I do miss being able to get info from him! These videos just make me smile.
Sir, I am an adult man and havent seen anthing I did not already know. Yet, i watch every video because i absolutely love your motivation and enthousiasm. I was lucky enough to have a dad to teach me all of this, reading all of these comments makes me aware that I am very lucky. I am sure you make a lot of people lucky with your videos. Keep up the good work Sir.
Same experience for me. I have two kids of my own, my son just started driving. I have a very loving and supportive dad, so I know how important it is. "You got this, I'm proud of you." Absolutely every child needs to hear that.
@@jeffreycinto3219 I believe ground means connecting the negative (black) cable on the dead car to a unpainted metal part of the car like one of the bolts on the hinge of the hood
Hey folks, something I think is important to add is that the black cable on the dead battery car, the ground, needs to go onto unpainted metal. He said an unpainted surface, but specifically it needs to be onto metal to create a solid ground.
My dad just left my mom with my brother, me, and my 2 year old sister and expects her to take care of us and do everything herself. Luckily I just found you. Thanks for being an angel :). Sincerely- Ella
I’m 21 years old and grew up in a home with an abusive father who taught me nothing about life except how not to be a man. I just want to say thank you for all the young men who are going to learn things they need to know from you. The impact you will have is immeasurable.
Hey @“dad how do I?” I appreciate you making these for kids that don’t have a dad. I do have a suggestion tho, could you please make a video of how to pay rent, electricity bill, water bill, etc??
Hey Dad lol, i just want you to sincerely know that one day in the future, your videos about things like this that are essential but arent taught will save lives one day, people can look your videos up in a wholesome way and you will bring them out of their rough situation. Thank you for being you.
I haven’t watched a single video yet, and I’m already in tears. My father was paralyzed when I turned 12 and I missed out on a lot. When I saw the title, I started crying. Thank you. Just, thank you. 😢😢😭
Everyone are commenting first and stuff but can we all appreciate how he is teaching us important stuff- Edit: oh shi- this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten thanks :D
Hey man, i just wanted to say thankyou for this whole channel. I'm 16, my dad left when i was 8 weeks old, so i've never been taught a lot of things, or encouraged, or a range of other things. So thankyou for doing all this, it's really kind and sweet. x
Do not let your Dad walking out be the meause of your worth...you are valuable..your dad had the problems not you. Yes..this Dad will teach and encourage you.
I wish I’d seen this three days ago when my car battery died. I have jumper cables but was unsure of where to place them. A police officer assisted. Thank God for him!
Sooo thankful for this video!!! My dad died 10 years ago when I was 24 and my husband never had a dad in his life. We were just able to jump his car for the first time thanks to you! ❤️

I have a great Dad, but for those of you whose father is no longer around, or for those who didn't do so great in the Dad department, this Dad is amazing.
I have a dad but this is actually pretty useful advice
+
Yea I just watch these because you never know when you’ll need it
Same xD
I have a dad but he doesn’t teach me anything he just sits in a chair. And I only see him every six months nowadays
Jordan Humphrey damn sry bro
"You got this and I'm proud of you"
To understand that's something every son and daughter want to hear...
Thank you.
My dad passed away from cancer two years ago and as a young woman, I felt there was still so much I wanted to learn from him. Thank you for sharing your “dad” wisdom. Grateful that God put it on your heart to share your “dad” heart with the internet ❤️.
The “You got this” and “I’m proud of you” at the end 🖤🖤🖤 never knew such powerful phrases existed
Can I just say that the "you got this, I'm proud of you" was so heartwarming, I actually smiled. Thank you dad!
I wish my dad were as patient and kind as you to explain all these things to me. Thank you for making these videos
i wish if he was my dad :(
I wish I had a father like him also. Mine was so bad, I eloped with the first boy who paid attention to me.
@@lindav1189 awww
Linda V That’s rough buddy. Hope life is treating you a little better now-a-days.
I lost my father 4 years ago, I could never learn anything about this from him. I really think this is the noblest task a person can do, thank you for everything.
I'm really crying over a video of man teaching me how to jump start a car. Wow trauma really fucked me up bad.
Me too
same!
Same...
LMAO same...
Sorry Alice 😭 we will do our children better 💜
“You got this and I’m proud of you!” Words I needed to hear today.
That 'I'm proud of you" at the end.... Thank you dad
I know how to jump start a car, but I'm still watching. What a warmhearted Dad for the world!
We never deserved this man but we have him and it's a blessing
Actually, I think we all deserve a dad like this.
Yo
I lost my dad suddenly a year ago. He was my best friend, dad and I lived for him - this makes me feel that warmth and love that I oh so miss! Thank you so much for these :)
For a person who doesn't have a dad, I feel so thankful for this.
++ i oove the dad jokes!!!
With a dad like this I'd honestly never move out
We need to put Dad in a protective bubble so nothing bad happens to him
❤️
Never thought hearing ‘I’m proud of you’ would give me any emotion but just hearing that really moved me a little. Not having a dad really is hard.
This man taught me more than my dad did. The 'You got this and i'm proud of ya' really hit me.
i just had a panic attack due to something my parents said about me and my grades and this really helped me to calm down. thank you so much for what you do.
lol
Hope you're feeling better! :D
So, I have a request. My parents said that mowing a lawn would be a good chore for me, but I don’t know how to mow a lawn. So you should make a video of how to mow a lawn!
"So CAN you make a video" seems more respectful in my opinion.
Btw, scout out the property to make sure there are no hidden poles, rocks etc, cuz that'll kill your mower
Btw forgot to mention but super important, you can't mow if the grass is wet. The grass just won't cut, if the ground is wet but the grass is dry then you can mow but it is just a bit more difficult. However, depends how wet the ground is cuz you'll just make the entire lawn a mudslide if the ground is super wet, if its damp you'll ve fine though.
Out of curiosity... Why aren't your parents showing you?
Zachary Ruster maybe they work and don’t have time to
Someone tell me why I just watched this video even though I've jump started cars like a hundred times. Oh yeah, cuz this dude is just awesome. " Hey kids " puts a weird massive smile on my a face. Keep it up dad!
Every time he says “ok”?, I say “ok”
*Hey Internet Dad! And hey Internet siblings! I hope y'all are okay! Lemme know how you're doing guys ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE YOU SWEET LIL PEEPS YOU*
A pair of jumper cables walk into a bar
The bartender says:
"I'll serve you, but don't start anything"
This deserves more credit than it has 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For you, no charge
dad jokes on a dad channel, we approve
He did start a thing and charge with battery.
I already know how to jump a car but I watched just to support this guy and his channel
Same. He deserves it.
💡Schools would be wise to show these videos to students and give them this tool for their life toolbox🧰 You are helping so many people👍👏❤
No kidding, that’s a brilliant idea
my country actually taught this things, not jump start but they taught bout toilet parts so we know where is the problem and fix it. not only toilet but sink and pipe, screw, nail, hammer etc, electrics and electronics bulb even build something using playwood we also learn how to sew, cook, plant but sadly from year 2017 they replace that subject with computer science and design&tech. The subject is called life skill
lolololo lalallaala That definitely sounds beneficial. At school we were only taught briefly on electrical stuff, but learnt how to sew and cook and had woodwork mandatory aswell. They really need a class called life skills
I'm a teacher...and I will 😁
S Reece It’s the crazy the amount of depth you could go into.
The man we never asked for , but deep down we all know we Needed .
My dad thought women shouldn’t do certain things and now that I’m divorced, I watch your video to teach me! Thank you soooo much!
This man is a godsend, he must he protected
Ok this is DEFINITELY something I need to learn. I can never remember which car to put them on first. Thanx Dad
My dad never told me anything like this and starts yelling when i dont know how to do,
Thank you for teaching us with
He probably yells because inside he’s disappointed that he didn’t do a good enough job raising you for you to know
He probably had a bad dad that didn’t teach him to comunícate well and he is continuing the cycle. Be better and let the cycle end improve the generation. I’m proud of you son
My dad exactly. Glad I don't have to deal with it anymore.
Blame your folks, how about reading a book and ignore your parents, worked for me.
Do you know what a ground is
@@jeffreycinto3219 I believe ground means connecting the negative (black) cable on the dead car to a unpainted metal part of the car like one of the bolts on the hinge of the hood
I grew up without a dad and this man has taught me everything I would need to know thank you
I’m 21 years old and grew up in a home with an abusive father who taught me nothing about life except how not to be a man.
Everyone are commenting first and stuff but can we all appreciate how he is teaching us important stuff-
Edit: oh shi- this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten thanks :D
Hey man, i just wanted to say thankyou for this whole channel. I'm 16, my dad left when i was 8 weeks old, so i've never been taught a lot of things, or encouraged, or a range of other things.
So thankyou for doing all this, it's really kind and sweet. x
Do not let your Dad walking out be the meause of your worth...you are valuable..your dad had the problems not you. Yes..this Dad will teach and encourage you.
Actually love this guy like my own Dad ❤️
Me too
I wish I’d seen this three days ago when my car battery died. I have jumper cables but was unsure of where to place them. A police officer assisted. Thank God for him!
This is great, my dads car had a flat battery due to him not going to his office during coronavirus. Handy to know for a rainy day.
Thanks dad. I dont have a car but you never know what could happen! Stay safe dad🙏🏾💗💗
He said that he was proud of me and now I’m crying, I’m dead serious😕💔
Sooo thankful for this video!!! My dad died 10 years ago when I was 24 and my husband never had a dad in his life. We were just able to jump his car for the first time thanks to you! ❤️
I love when he says okay, it's like a dad I never had.
