Summer is here, and I am celebrating with a slew of special Superman videos all season long! Today, I am continuing look at the McFarlane Toys Page Punchers Ghosts of Krypton wave with the standard AND Platinum Editions of Brainiac! I want the platinum one not only because it looks sick but it reminds me of the Tim Burton braniac concept art.
Yeah, I think it's perfect for those who really like the spider looking Brainiac. Best figure I've seen for that type.
I haven't seen the concept art, but I love that idea

just look up Superman lives or Nick Cage Superman

Thanks for making the vid. I'm not sure I like this figure. I really liked the old school look of Brainiac, like the regular McFarlane Super Powers version. That said. This is probably the best spider like Brainiac figure I've seen on the market.

I like the regular edition of this one. That platinum looks like a denizen of bioshock and terminator.. I’m good on it🤣
That being said the army builder idea is perfect. Though something tells me I’d have to catch that on a sale to justify a multiple purchase. Cool review.

I found the platinum version at my local gamestop and im thinking about getting it since kind of reminds me of the injustice 2 version imo but with a different color scheme. I personally like the platinum version just for that.
Not gonna lie, I've never heard of this comic before, but I kinda wanna get these fellas just because of their beautifully mismatched and scrapped-together look. An impulse buy I guess.

The beginning was amusing.
This is a cool figure. I’ve got the regular version and the rest of the wave. The armor being removable to put on different figures is my favorite part of these.
I think the first appearance Superman would be great to just change the chest logo for the fleisher cartoon Superman.
The first appearance head on that Crisis body is perfect
I found the plat the other day and was lucky enough to po metallo at target today but missed the joker punchline pack😢
Amazon still has the punchline on sale for 39 last I checked
The Punchline two pack will be available other places without the signed card for only 40, so don't give up hope

Sadly, as a Superman fan I'll have to pass on these. The artwork for the comic is one thing, but to bring it to plastic life, it looks horrible.

Yeah, I wish that the sculpt better reflected the artwork on the comicbook. Brainiac looks awesome on the cover, but the actual figure only looks decent. And that undead-looking Brainiac ain’t doing it for me.

While entertaining i don't trust any channel that reviews products the company sent them for free..there's unconscious bias to make sure the reviewer keeps getting more free stuff so honesty is almost always not going to happen

If you are only ever planning on one, Injustice 2 is the way to go. More fully formed Brainiac
