Summer is here, and I am celebrating with a slew of special Superman videos all season long! Today, I am kicking things off with a look at the McFarlane Toys Page Punchers Ghosts of Krypton Superman! And don't worry, I'll also be trying out plenty of head and armor swaps!

Is supposed to replace the "McFarlane Designed" line? I am curiois about the regular Brainiac head on other robotic bodies if you ever do that video

I love this wave. I just don’t have the variant brainiac. I heard people compare the armor to war hammer.
I put the armor on multiple Superman figures, Darth Vader, Lex Luthor, Darth Malgus, the rock black Adam, necas Homelander and some other figures.
The cod piece can stay on with some sticky tack at the back. The armor being removable to put on different figures is great selling point I looked forward to when first seeing the figures.

I was really surprised at how well the Ghosts of Krypton Superman head works on some of the other Superman body bucks, so much so that I picked up a head from Ebay. Thanks for the head swaps!

I really wish McFarlane made this figure 20 years ago. Can you imagine how good it would look if it wasn’t just a giant hunk of unpainted plastic?

I was excited when I found Platinum Earth-2 Supes. His design is cool and while the paint is a bit lacking the armor really makes up for it. Also while I don’t completely love the look of the cape, it does feel nice to hold.
Unfortunately I've been hit with the worst qc I've ever seen. The neck ball is incredibly tight. So tight in fact that when I tried to take the head off I ended up pulling the entire neck off the torso. Hips going forward and back are also really tight and on one of them the socket for the outward motion pops right out. Fixable but quite disappointing.
Oh well, on the bright side this makes giving him a wired cape marginally easier
Review the secret empire captain america and superior iron man soon but do mot forget to compare cap next to mark 3 iron man to see if those two actually scale well?
I have Superior Iron Man, but I wasn't able to preorder the Cap. It's a Walmart exclusive, so it's hit or miss if I will be able to find one. If I can, I will though.
Oooo that Super Title card! ❤❤ If I was collecting all the McFarlane DC stuff and not just what I thought was essential this is a pretty solid Action Figure. Val Zod having a platinum version is also cool!

I removed the head off my armoured superman as it was too power ranger looking ( yuk ) binned it , then placed a Bearded solar super man head on it and its cool

D'oh! I saw the Platinum Earth 2 figure and didn't buy it. I wanted it but didn't have the funds. Went back and it was gone. They did still have THIS Superman so I got it. I'm using the Starro Ultraman head on this figure. I looks MUCH better on this body and then I gave this head to the Unchained Armor Superman. With the battle scar, he looks awesome in that armor. I have him holding his helmet.
You know in hindsight I totally missed the opportunity to do an Unchained swap

Superman with a half mask, to me, always looks like a variant of Cyborg Superman (Hank Henshaw)

I like how tall this figure is but I really don't like how most of the height is in the legs, it just gives it more of a heavily disproportionate quality than usual.
It does, but as long as the armor is on I think it works

I wish the headsculpt wasn't so ugly and looked more like the one on the cover art of the comic.

Another cool headswap is the digital blue repaint batman head on the superman body, it looks like a super man buster type suit for batman, the mask fits really nice and the colors kinda match too!

I'm going to pass on this. The depiction of the character art wise is one thing, but in physical form it'd horrible.
This overly detailed costume isn’t for me, but good for those folks that like it. I’m really taken back by those endlessly long legs and clown shoes. The proportions are very jarring when you see him along side other figures.
I think this version of superman and the armor makes it look like a toy.. Myself as a collector.. I would want something a bit less gigantic and ridiculous. I guess some will love it and others like myself will think this is just silly.
Totally understand. The toyish quality is what works for me. Brings me back to being a kid. But I get it not being for everyone

Using PP head on Ultraman has more of a feel of the DC animated film. However, you ruined me, as now all I see is Kurt Russell. 😂
