It's terrifyingly realistic that a corpo crisis just make the galaxy do literally everything else but fight them through bribes and blackmail
And that their sinister ultimate goal is powered by a literal orphan crushing machine.

The people at Paradox really got the vassal/lord relationship upside down.
They should rename it to "high maintenance princess" mechanic

They just need to fix the AI so they don’t accept the crazy deals you send them that cripple them economically it’s pretty absurd how easy it is

Wow I've been noticed by our galactic overlord
@@ythegamerita Hail High Gamer Kleaper, Stealer of orphans, Crimelord of the 400 stars.
The fact that he is manipulating a galaxy into attacking their saviors instead of him, a maniac that feeds beings to machines, is horrifying. I like it
But the fallen empire had trashed everyone attacked them and they even managed to awaken a second fallen empire which I don't even you can have multiple fallen empires in a single playthrough.
@@viroshanargiri4641 pshhh 🤫
@@viroshanargiri4641 There is a slider when generating the galaxy that lets you choose how many fallen empires you want.
Having at least 2 is cool since they can start the war in heaven, a 3 way conflict between 2 fallen empires with the normal empires that sided them and a federation of neutral empires.
@@adisca2k Yeah having the three way galaxy is always fun.
@@viroshanargiri4641If you have two fallen empires with opposing ideologies, there's a chance that you can get a late mid game crisis called War in Heaven, in which the entire galaxy is forced to pick sides and fight in a literal hyper war.

@@NamanjaKrakow Yeah, that's what it's supposed to be.
@furrymessiah thank you I was pretty sure but I had to make sure because Eagletarian is amazing
Judging by his other video's I'm fairly certain he's dyslexic.
Your whole tactic of being vassalised reminds me of a quote from Sseth's review of Kenshi:
"Hivers are good at slavery. Are they good at capturing slaves? No. They're good at BEING slaves." (paraphrased)
I like how kleaper almost completely recreated the story of Mass Effect 3 by becoming Cerberus and labeling the ancients as the reapers pretty much
32:36
"Acquired" Pops: "You enslaved our people for nearly two hundred years!"
Cubes: "LOL Oops!"
Makes money, discorved the galaxy is tearing itself appart, imediatly went back making money.
Alien worlds when a silly little cube tells them to commit crimes
7:41 "I don't think we're comrades, we're literally a megacorporation."
_Annoyed workers' co-op noises._
15:27 Commercial zones give you amenities and cash. Your crime outpost is stealing their money and lowering their amenities. The A.I. is trying (unsuccessfully) to fix his planet from the problems you created without destroying your outpost since you still have good relations with them somehow.
Why are you just making shit up?
It's like that because the AI is doing a trade build. For one, crime doesn't lower amenities. Crime can be produced by pops with low happiness which can be caused by low amenities, but it doesn't work the other way around.
Also the AI isn't choosing to not close the branch office cuz they like him, you can't close a criminal branch office like a normal one, they have a random chance to close every month if you get crime to zero.
One way the branch office might have encouraged the AI to build how they did is the fact that criminal holdings by and large give trade value and trade jobs (in addition to crime) so the AI sees this planet with randomly high trade value.
Depending on the holdings and how unlucky the planet holder gets you can be giving more trade value than you take. (Assuming max crime value) a planet can have 3 to 4 criminal jobs (more likley 3) Each criminal job is -5 trade value. But each crime holdong gives 5 or 6 trade value and on a big world you have four of them.
Of course crime lowers stablity which in turn lowers job output and trade value, but as we see here the AI has kept their stablity well above 50, presumably through happieness and soldier jobs from the military leader they have. So a trade world settup like this the AI is profiting from the crime syndicate. Not that it's smart enough to do that intentionally.
Why would you do this? Just come on the internet and tell lies?
"This is how democracy dies."

This would be extremely scary to deal with irl. People with tons of money, public relations, and powerful friends doesn’t really have a weakness
You could probably get away with being totally senile and still be president! Glad that sort of thing doesn't really happen.....

@@user-hj8oh9kh7v you don’t even have to go that deep to stumble into this sarcastic ass post irl, ya doofus.

good thing that this isnt happening in real life...
...right?
Ah, cool, the "fuck this shit, I'm out" ending. And I'm guessing that what you end up doing to this universe to get to another is REALLY BAD.
Actually it’s not nearly as bad as what the Aetherophasic Engine is gonna do. And ironically, it seems your eventual “escape” just lands you in an uncertain voyage across unknown universes hoping desperately that you’ll get lucky and manage to find one you can mold before your incredible starship takes one hit too many and leaves you either stranded, or worse…
@@OneBiasedOpinion I mean, just studying the technology to achieve this ending altered the very laws of reality in accelerating the speed at which metabolism works, so I’m guessing to achieve the necessary speed, power, and whatever else you may need to *escape the universe itself* could have caused everlasting changes to said universe. It could be raining cats and dogs, literally.
@@shapshapshapshap2829 Its one of the events. I`ve got "Pi rounded to 3". It resulted in -80% of each science and +33 speed of fleet construction)
@@shapshapshapshap2829you need to research how to rewrite reality because you discover that it’s not possible cause the universe is too big and old that any changes will be reverted which is the whole reason you leave. So even if you cause massive changes to reality while leaving in a few years it will be better.
Holding limit is not per planet, is per empire. They can build four holdings and yes they can build all four in a single planet.
If that's true then overlord holdings are just pathetic. 4 buildings per empire is nothing when basic megacorp gets 4 per planet. You mixed something up.
@@TheArklyte It is 4 per empire max and yea overlord holdings are trash in general
Unfortunately he did not :((
You can go for unity rush with the help of the holdings, just spam vassels and you find yourself with lots of unity(of course you must not be xenophobic) @@SolazLive
@@TheArklyte it is like that. 4 max holdings per planet and max 4 holding per empire. And you can build them all on one planet.
And having 4 buildings for megacorp, the planet needs to have 50 pop for the highest tier capital building, which takes quite a long time. But yes, vassal holding buildings are pathetic.
Dude on the first half of the episode is basically roleplaying as luxembourg
As an hoi 4 player... this is exactly true lol
as a machinist Kleaper's pronunciation of "Synaptic Lathe" hurt me

@@LordDragox412 AND NONE WHERE RIGHT
Same. “Eagle-tarian” was equally painful.
As a machinist that runs lathes daily I second that the pronunciation of "Synaptic Lathe" kills me inside too.
‘Breaking Stellaris with One Planet Only’ or: Yakuza cubes destroy the galaxy
All those flavor lines about the shroud awakening; if you continue to play, there should be repeated invasions as shroud critters follow your backtrail back to this universe. IDK if that's actually programed in there, but that's how it SHOULD work :p
Isn’t that the other crisis path?
*Offers 4 holdings with one planet* "This is an offer you cannot refuse."
Fun video, I always love to see what people are doing with new Stellaris content. One small correction btw: As Virtual, your pops grow and disappear automatically to fill empty jobs, so your pop growth speed is essentially your planet building speed. It is absolutely BUSTED. And since they grow instantly + automatically, you DON'T want to assimilate other robots, since that gains you nothing. Just keep them unvirtual and chuck them into the Lathe (Virtual pops cannot be moved into the Lathe).
Correction with the holdings:
Yes they could build one holding across 4 worlds but they could also build 4 holdings on one planet. So they can do stuff with those extra 3 holdings and they are not void like you assume.
Galaxy : Fighting for their lives
Kleaper : "Adios"
(Litterally the adios meme actually nowi think about it)
Fun fact, my first successful playthrough, i didnt know that purging pops caused relations ship to fall. So after purging several species i wsa very surprised that the whole galaxy in facts hates me
I mean, I feel like that should be evident. Were you not aware what the word "purging" meant?

I like how the new way to become the crisis is just your people look around and say, "This universe fucking sucks, lets travel to a new one."
You get the dragon scale armor from cosmogenesis to compliment the dark matter components
Pitting the universe against a fallen empire just to keep their attention off you, is the best Idea I have never had. Thank you
You shouldn't take mass produced on your starting robot pops, it's just a waste of trait points.
You can instantly after starting the game make a new template with mass-produced and recycled for quick and cheap assembled pops and set them to be assimilated after being made.
This makes luxurious and custom-made free trait points on your main species.
Man whoever came up with the idea of achieving such a high tech level you can quite literally change how reality works deserves a raise, that ideas amazing.

Is no-one gonna mention the fact that he calls it "Eagle-tarian"?
Kleaper is the literal definition of: “Who’s gonna stop me?”
At 24:00 while it’s true that virtual pops cannot be assembled after completing virtuality this is instead replaced with virtual pops spontaneously appearing to fill empty jobs and disappearing if unemployed, they do not remain at a fixed number
or in simple terms: all jobs are filled, and you lose unemployed virtual pops
"Theres one pop and 100% crime what is this guy doing"
Crime probably.
He’s just constantly jaywalking
36:40 Cosmogenesis gives you dragonscales armour tech. You dont have to kill the dragon.
41:10 Takes Galactic Contender to defend against crisis. Unless they changed something the Unbidden are a endgame crisis and he would need to pick Defender of the Galaxy. So big brain plays by him :D
Somewhere between such industrious brain harvesting and the kill assist by ruining any chance of anyone actually stopping the nemesis empire Kleaper did the impossible. A double crisis run.
if we get a new crisis, its either going to be diplomaticly based, or enconomicaly based

Virtual pops are instantly created to fill any vacant job you have on your planet. You don't need pop assembly anymore, you just need to create more buildings and jobs.
"We are going to lose Mark Cuban as our leader but that doesn't really matter. He'll come back."

I had a Khan event that happened on the far other side of my galaxy, they took so long to reach my empires borders, only for their great leader to pass away before they could force me to submit to their rule
God, this galaxy was a fucking nightmare. Run by criminals, in a constant state of intergalactic war, beset by the Khan, The Chosen, two awakened empires, and then when all seemed at its worst, some mobster robots tear the fabric of reality up, destroying a quarter of the galaxy, leaving it at the mercy of someone with a spicy star to destroy the rest of it for shits and giggles.
This has to be the craziest and funniest Stellaris video ever. Had me cry-laughing for the entire last half. Well done my dude! Excellent stuff.
Keeping the Manefesti for kicks, especially in the early game, gives you a pretty good chunk of unity, which makes up for the ‘Manefesti Faction’ that pops up later on. Should definitely hold onto it
Correction about the holdings - it's not one per planet, it's one building per holding. So 4 is 4 buildings in total, either on one planet, or across 4 planets.
