Some remote starter units have immobilizer ground output when on , meaning you wire the immobilizer ground to that output from the remote starter unit ,that way if someone break in and put a screwdriver it's not gonna start cuz the immobilizer is not working cuz it didn't get ground from the remote starter unit ,or you can wire the positive to a positive output whatever the remote starter unit might have
Is this not just a Circuit? What is it looking for exactly? It is essentially looking for some Voltage, Frequency, or some kind of Signal, either to then Open or Close the Circuit? Which is communicated via Wire? There is something missing from these infomercials?
Hey bro I installed the system and it works fine but a month after I notice the car would not automatically open when I approach it. Also the car starts without the key in range. Before it would not start if the key was too far but now it starts without the key fob. What could be the cause? Please assist me
If you use keyless module then there is some option by holding remote key fob buttons For example holding 1 and 2 for 3 seconds do somthing and holding others do something else.
Everyone should stand up and demand the right to have no immobilizer on their new car if they choose. Now instead of your car getting hot wired and stolen they break in and stab you and take the key. Also they significantly increase the likelihood of your car being taken straight to the scrap yard. Wish i could buy a new car without one. These immobilizers are being forced on us and it's not cool at all.
Also an increase of theft with the proximity keys from what I understand. They can set up a computer that reads your proximity key signal from a long distance & sit outside your home making their own key. Then they drive your car off one night like it's their own. Afterwards, it makes its way to a ship never to be seen again.
it's a vital security feature. it's not that it's being forced on you, it's so you can't go crying to the police because some asshole started your car with a USB cable, or a screw driver. also you can't simply choose not to have one because it's factory installed as part of the ECU in other words you would have to order the car specifically without one from the factory, that means there would also have to be 2 versions of the ECU and if someone gets a car that doesn't have one when it's supposed to that's a lawsuit. you saw what happened with hyundai and kia? they didn't build any of their cars with immobilizers and it made them the easiest to steal out of any car. the reason I say you would go crying to the cops is because I know if someone stole your car you're not letting it go even if it is your own damn fault. I'm not paying my taxes so your cry baby ass can have your car without a vital security system and waste the time of the police (who could be out saving someone's life) and the money of the tax payer looking for your car once it's been stolen.
@@justinkaufman495 So what's your solution to the proximity key problem that's only invented for those too lazy to use a key? They make it way faster for the pro thieves to steal your high dollar new car. Oh, and it's not as easy as the movies to hotwire a car. Even if it's hot wired it's pretty tough to drive with a steering wheel lock. How much time & noise you think you'd make trying to take care of that as well? So you think cars getting stole silently like they own it with a key is better than someone having to bust a lot of crap and sit around forever hoping not to get caught? The immobilizers aren't stopping the car thieves so what good are they? The thieves don't care if it's immobilized even as they load it up and drive to the chop shop to chop for parts to sell on the net. Or as of late, put it on a ship and take them overseas. Or the cops will be running around writing up 1,000 stories about theft of parts like catalytic converters instead of one story about a stolen car. Sorry, but you're theory has no merit. Wait till you have an immobilizer problem with your car that the dealership can't fix and your stuck with a big pile of trash your community city will make you junk before having time to fix it yourself because the pros don't care enough to help you out, are not able to, or don't want to cause they get to sell you a new car. Sounds to me like that's equal to massive theft myself. You ever think that maybe the companies themselves love immobilizers for business? Best case they get to charge you hundreds to reprogram it. Oh, by the way, the pro thieves can program the computers as well. Seriously, you need to do a little research
@@justinkaufman495 Thing is, the immobilizers themselves could possibly steal from the people as much as the thieves. Are there any stats on the number of cars junked due to immobilizer problems or being unable to successfully replace an engine and program it to the vehicle? No, they just get crushed and recycled regardless the problem. Not to mention that it would be way better for your car to get stolen then some psychotic prick murdering you in your sleep to be sure you don't immobilize his new ride. There's a lot more to consider than what your speaking of that deems everything you said totally irrelevant. The immobilizers have more potential to help a car manufacturer include planned obsolescence or a communist government to control people than they do to help fight car thieves. Instead of buyback programs I guess they could just contact the car manufacturer and immobilize any gas guzzling car they don't like so it's trash right? Make sure your thoughts penetrate a little deeper than just what is advertised to you by the manufacturer. Stopping the thieves is awesome if it doesn't cost the standard citizen their life, freedom, or as much money on average as the thieves themselves. Why are all the thieves being let free so easily anyway? Think part of the problem might be in the legal department? Think if they actually dusted for prints and tried to catch the thieves with much harsher penalties it might slow to a crawl or stop? Could immobilizers cause more murders? Was some locals in my area that got murdered because someone wanted to steal there car. Pretty sure the immobilizer didn't work in that situation.
Can you help me out with something..i want to start push start system in my car ..but im a bit confused because of this immobilizer part...so my question..either i can do this ..or what if i remove the whole key barrel ..i know i wont be able to lock my steering wheel..but will it solve the issue of immobilizer..? Cant my new transponder key (blue key)send the codes to its cpu and the cpu will send the code to ecu of the car ? ...or is the immobilizer is connected with the key barrel itself?like to where does it transmits the codes from the key..i just dont know this ..and waiting to get clarified about the same ..please do let me know..than ill think to order or not...
To do push start system first you should unlock steering weel ok? To do this : you can remove the whole sylinder switch mechanizm or just do it like what did i do in the video ( cut the key and put it in the switch sylinder to unlock the steering weel) Immobilizer is a separate part connected to your switch sylinder so : After unlocking the steering wheel for every start and only at starting the engine (after start it does not matter) immobilzer system should be bypassed ( cause immobilizer chip is in the plastic part of your key that should be near (about 1 or 2 cm ) of switch sylinder to read and send imo codes to ECU So bypassing the immo system is what you see in my video?(please see that again) Was it helpful?
As I showed at 5:57 connect a 12V relay coils input to 12v from ignition start and the other one to your remote control output (ground out of remote control )
I don't understand why is that a bypass. It's not. A bypass is when you don't have key at all . And your stuck someplace far away with your family .and lost all the keys. And you need to get back to town to get meds for your children. So now show a bypass.
Any car with immobilizer system won't start without the key that has immobilizer chip in it (ignore LOCKSMITHS ONES ). THIS WAY IS FOR WHOM (crazy people like me) want to install start/stop button.
You just put the key for the first time and the key wil remain there forevere. It is just the way you can do it I did not have any advice to do that ! Of course the secuirity of car will decrease but if someone wants to do that thats the way 🙏
You're still using the old key which have been programmed by company already,,,,this bypass method is useless because anyone can enter can start the car and steal it.
Silent video, but explain everything, brilliant Bro!!!
Thanks.
Thanks brother this was helpful . You have saved my day.
Thanks for your comment🙏🙏🙏

Saved my time alot.
Is the poweer to the relay is going to cut off when starting? Can I connect it to starter wire instead?
Whould you please tell me more. I did not understand what you mean sorry

Thanks for your comment. I knew that but if someone breaks into and have enough time can remove the unit and start the car!
thanks friend,, very cleaver!,,can you do this on a renault megane? they have key card!
Does the power not stay on when u turn the broken key to the acc position
It stays on but the power will be OFF by keyless module
Is this not just a Circuit? What is it looking for exactly? It is essentially looking for some Voltage, Frequency, or some kind of Signal, either to then Open or Close the Circuit? Which is communicated via Wire? There is something missing from these infomercials?
Nothing is missing please google it.
Why you need to cut the key and leave it on acc position? leaving on Acc will drain the battery.
There is a keyless module that will cut the circuit.
I liked it thanks
Thanks
connect to the 12v constant?
No power is needed.
What gauge wire did you use
Doesn't matter so much.
I don't have a key cylender in my 09rav 4 so we're di far the cord

Do you have to break the key off into the ignition and leave it?

It's not bypass immobilization
