Try positive tap products man. Quick and easy to use like scotch locks or t taps whatever you wanna call them and they do nowhere near the damage to to wire and sheathing material. I solder all of my stuff but I've had good luck with the position taps.
There has to be a better way than T taps or even solder. I've never come across a T tap that didn't cut the conductors. Solder isn't always possible, either. Every ignition switch has a plug. Whey can't there be a T adapter for these things to go between the male and female plug of the ignition switch. A bit like the adapters for trailer harnesses under the truck. That's an accessory I'd want to buy.
I know you commented this a long time ago, but now they have some thing called a T harness that does exactly what you said. Just unplug the entire ignition plug, and the immobilizer plug and they basically have a harness that goes in between the male and Female plugs. I came here hoping to find instructions for my kit, and this style of installation would be insanely complicated compared to what they have now.
Sending this back. Your competition has harnesses you can plug in to simply put the module in-line... limiting the soldering and connections to just a few. This set up has you tearing into multiple wiring harnesses, searching for the right wire to connect to. I can’t afford to disable my vehicle due to one missed connection or fault in the module. I’m sending this product back.
I am on my 4th day. Plug & Play harness my butt and no weekend support at all. Should have been a very easy install on my 2004 Silverado as it is a basic work truck, no pwr door locks etc. I got everything working per the LED Light and veh lights but still won't start. I have watched warmcarnow on youtube and others and per those it should start. Pd $180 for a prewired that does not work. Plus it is not MPC but Crimestopper brand. Better off going to their site, but they also do not have weekend support!!!!! UPDATE: Got it to start one time ONLY. Now no go. BTW, I am a electrician plus been a DIYer working on veh for over 40+ yrs. UPDATE: 5th day, still no start, everything shows that it should. Now here is the kicker, start truck with key, click remote key button, pull key from Ing and veh stays running. Can stop either with remote or brake. But remote still won't start veh. Support is far in between. Called about 4 times but never returned call. Emails are 2+ hours in replies or the next day.
@@billy2423 I am sure you have found the solution by now, but I would like to know the answer. was the problem a poor contact with the scotch lock on the starter wire?
@@trin929 They sent me a new INT-SL+ and everything worked great for a good while, then would not start again. Had me check data wiring hookup. Rewired and works fine now, but after I added a small amount electronics solder to that connection

Some car dealers tell vehicle owners that installing an aftermarket part in the vehicle will void the warranty, but that is not true. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits a company from voiding a warranty or denying coverage under the warranty because the owner used or installed an aftermarket part.

you arent using the proper size taps then. t taps are the best way and the only way when you have to crank out 6-8 starters in a day
There is and it is called plug & play.

Now why i am watching this, i just realized that i have to engage my clutch to start my car
wire it in on the power side of the clutch switch, opposite to the brake switch.
Google remote start clutch pedal bypass. It'll work, but never forget to leave the car in neutral with the the parking brake on.

This seems like it should be done by a professional. Too many wires to deal with. I think I’ll stick with the plug and play type by Start-X.
Does this void my cars warranty? Cause I know certain modifications vehicles warranty I drive a 2018 Hyundai Tucson.
