Done something like this in 2001. 2 menacing bikers with their wives moved into my vacant rental the county's sheriff said it's a civil matter. I saw an attorney and he said about $5,000.00 and could take up to 6 months I knew a couple friends in a well known bike gang so we went there with 8 other bikers and all moved in needless to say the 2 wannabes and wives was out in just a couple of hours I purchased 4 case of beer and 12 pizzas we all celebrated, partied and laughed what a great time
Great video! I learned about the squatting problem first hand 3 years ago when my dad inherited property near Portland, Oregon. My sister was closing it up for my dad and the state padlocked the front door when she was at the funeral home making arrangements for my dad’s cousin. They came back and opened the house up when she called. The state employees explained the reason for padlocking was squatters. I started researching each state and was horrified at the lack of help legally for rightful owners. You are right, it will only get more prevalent. You are doing a great service for home owners.

the rightful property owners ,
Which is a falsehood we Americans assume that we actually have ownership over any property .
We own NOTHING .
We are slaves of the government .
So " these laws " 🙄 probably will not be changing because the government would be inconvenienced .
On the North side of the fence, it's the opposite: Landlords can lie, harass, intimidate, show up unannounced, make changes w/o telling tenants that cause undue hardship, are racist, discriminate against mental health recoveries, etc.
My point is that have your fun thinking you're like the landlord version of John Dutton, when in actual fact, you are looking more like a land-law advocate for Calvin Candie.
