The owner might consider setting up a day where you can hang out outside of the salon where you and the environment have a doggy smell. Neutral ground might help a lot with your friendship with Symphony.

I’m sure you know dogs have a great sense of smell and since symphony is a blind dog her sense of smell is probably heightened so because you have the smells of other dogs, shampoos, etc… all over you and she only smelled you once before I’m sure she is very scared. Dogs like routine so if her owner brings her to you on a regular basis then before too long this dog will know and love you, like we all do😊 Keep up the good work, your a gem😉

Somebody please help teach this dog with luring like crazy in every situation to give her the confidence to understand how and when to be lead and that it's ok and safe. It would help with moving her into positions like the bathtub. What a sweet baby! She clearly is trying her best to understand what's going on ❤️ Great job Logan working with her, you did fabulous!

Be patient with her. Getting her in the sink, you had 2 problems, the blue hose was in her way and the matting under her moved. When you put the shampoo on her gently, instead of the stream, put it on your hands and rub it in, rather than the stream. I don't know what you can do about the nails. perhaps start it and let her get used the noise and the vibration. While Symphony can't see, she can hear, feel and smell. Continue to make her experience in the store good for her and she will get to know the smells and calm down. You do a great job with all your dogs.
My dogs freak out about the whole grooming process, I don't know if you do this or if it is even practical, but I keep my hand on them and tell them everything that's happening most times it calms them down
Have you tried talking or singing to her the whole time so she can at least get used to your voice? Symphony always does so good at her age, especially when her only qualm is with being picked up. I always look forward to seeing her videos. Thanks for making this long form. 💙
If you notice symphony starts getting anxious right when you say your talking about your brother taking the car and not filling up the tank. She was probably sensing your anger at your brother and it was making her upset. Dogs can sense our feelings, more so for a blind dog😉
I love watching your videos, when I was born my parents had there first miniature poodle called sylvia she was for the time I came along. My parents Loved her so much don’t mind middle name because I’m sylvia. Then when sylvia passed away ( age 13 yrs) : my mum got apricot toy poodle call Goldie and she lived to about same age( before she passed away) Mum and Dad brought a apricot s Standard poodle call Charlie unfortunately my father was dying of asbestos so he was too much for my dad set my mum find a home for him around the corner because of that they become poodle clippers. My mum used to go and see him regularly and take him sausages. The day after my father died was the day we went and got Bonnie from the breeder and Bonnie was a miniature silver poodle. Bonnie helped my mum through the bad times after my my dad died and was devoted to my mum. She lived for about 12 years and she got breast cancer and she died and my mum was devastated as they had a row on speakable bonds. The breeder said that it wasn’t advisable for my mum to have a puppy as my mum was getting on years. The breeder Sandra who is one of the kennel clubs highest members poodle breeders in Uk. Adjusted about a bitch that she had called Lilly. So my mum had Lily until she passed away and myself and my partner took over having Lily and we had a for a further two years and are you before she passed away we went and got Billy bum bum who is verse 13 years old and unfortunately has been diagnosed with early Heart failure. Before that after Lily passed away Billy was very depressed so Sandra suggested us having a bitch that she had which was Lily granddaughter and Billy’s auntie so we took Dora and we had Dora for 12uyrs. fortunately she passed away two years ago of bladder cancer. All through the pandemic she wasn’t well and we had to put her in nappies for the last year of her life but she was still full of life but once she got to bed obviously we had to do the kindest thing. So Billy’s been on Billy Pain Bum has been on his own for the past two years and it’s been hard for him. So myself and my partner took up the mantle of having poodles. People dismiss poodle for being Faffy and realise they are the second most intelligent dog. And the only way only Reason they had them weird haircuts as you would know because they’re water dogs and they used to die for lobsters and other things. They also as you will also know fantastic Guard dogs.. Billly bum bum and Lady Dora Will the reasons why I started my channel pinkpoodle2 they are often Star of my videos I know it’s hard now because there’s only Billy Bum Bum. Kudos to you on this groom. You are the first groomer that I've seen that actually has the water spray at an extremely low rate. It might take you longer to get all the soap out, but appears to be more effective in keeping the dog calm. I'm impressed with your patience!!
I adopted my dads dog when he passed away. I have had zero small dogs except his Shih Tzu who went blind and deaf. So I tapped the floor for different reasons she picked up on. I adopt rescued dogs with issues and most of the time they are misunderstood and I can tell by there eyes 👀 what’s going on
I'm Super curious about clipping a dogs face.....is it totally fine to cut their whiskers????? Their whiskers obviously get cut when trimming their beard/mustache 😏
