I rarely comment on YT, but this is something special. I visited a classic car dealership over here in the Netherlands over the weekend and amongst other classics, I admired one these too. Next to the drop dead gorgeous looks, the Colombo V12 is a piece of art too: hearing that humm between 4-5k rpm on acceleration sends shivers down my spine. And there I was only a few days ago going "I'd love to hear one of these run..." 😉 Massive props to you Tedward for your skillful handling of classics like these and showing them for us to see and enjoy too! ❤
my god. what a symphony. i am liking old classic ferrari engines than the modern one. it more enjoyable and have a nice and Beautiful rumble you enjoy hearing it. THANK YOU TED.
Wonderful video. The reason the steering feels the way it does in terms of responsiveness is that its a worm and roller system. So, reaction to steering wheel input is somewhat delayed.
When I was younger, I never understood the appeal of 60s and 70s cars. Now I lust after them and understand why they are so revered. Nothing like this will ever be made again.
It was nice to see a new Tedward video had dropped And with a vintage Ferrari. It makes for a calm and pleasant end to an otherwise long and chaotic day. Btw: Is the clutch heavy on this one? I just got that feeling that it is kind of rough although you did a great job.❤
All you need is around 500K, insurance from Lloyds of London for another 10k a year and then be like most Ferrari owners with these cars. Take them to shows close by or have them trailered. Never take them out for the day and drive them.....Fact
Such an icon! Can you believe people think that the white goods nowdays are going to age just like this piece of art...... btw I'm digging the new angles!
2:13 often times these FRAM filters are orange painted Baldwins or UFIs so the reproduction vintage FRAM decals can be used for shows. No Ferrari shop, I know actually uses FRAMs! Now that you’ve driven a GTE you should come and drive my 330 America!
Ugh, I'm not sold on the rear view cam, I felt dizzy.🥴 Btw. I noticed you often refer to such wheels as 'wire knockoffs'. Why is that? Were these wheels patented by some company back in the days? Love the restoration on this one, paintjob looks gorgeous in the sun with the red leather interior, but what truly caught my eye was the quilted leather underneath the bonnet.
La gte non è mai stata la più bella tra le 250 ma oggi dal punto di vista dell'importanza storica per le casse della Ferrari e per il perfetto esempio di granturismo, non è seconda a nessuna 😘
Already uploaded! Hit that bell haha 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello Fiorano Handling Package - Driving The Gated Manual V12 (POV Review) ruclips.net/video/rn4Hdeo3ecU/видео.html
Great eye! So this video was two separate days. Day 1 I noticed the speedo was nonfunctional. Bond group repaired a tiny broken gear ⚙️ and I went back for it :)
Everything about modern design is supposed to be soul crushing and ugly. Not to mention that the quest for ever growing profits means everything must appeal to everyone. That's how we end up in a sea of boring crossovers. Sad.
(Edit #2: I was wrong. He started it up inside at 3:37.) I really dislike the new editing format. I especially dislike the new start-up sequence, without having the start-up inside the car. Edit: Not hating on Tedward. I'm all for people being creative and trying new things, but it just feels like a massive downgrade.
@@TedwardDrives You're right, I stand corrected. I immediately skipped as soon as I saw the outside of the car. It was an odd way to sequence those events, in my opinion.
The video was shot in 2 separate days. it wasnt working on day 1 so it was fixed. a little gear had broken. all of the shots when its working were shot on the second day
“Please stay between the mustard and the mayonnaise” 😂😂. Love this line and I’m so stealing it.
Otherwise you will turn into ketchup
What's mayonnaise here ?
@ the white line at the side of the road.
I've got a better one: "stay between the piss and the cum".
@ my ranked teammates:
Tedward + Oldtimer (especially a V12 one and ESPECIALLY A FERRARI) = Absolutely wonderful evening!
I had other things to do but when I saw that this was uploaded I just turned off from work and came straight to this video.
@@sidekick258 me every time Tedward uploads!
Love the additional camera angles, makes it feel so much more immersive. What an awesome machine :)
Ferrari 250 Series, so iconic ❤
What a car 🥰 Also, there were so many nice cars in that workshop that I hope you’re going to review in your next videos
On the first day of Christmas, my Tedward gave to me
A 250 in a pear tree
My new favorite tradition
Really needed that Ferrari V12 soundtrack today. Such a lovely car
This is a beautiful craft. I’d love to see Ferrari do a modern interpretation of their classic GT cars kind of like what RML group did the the SWB.
Front engined V12 Ferrari is the way to go!
Thats a proper sounding machine,,,
Oh the exterior exhaust shot is class...
love the Ferraris from the 60s. Steering wheels back in the day were so beautiful.
wow, that is a VERY special car Ted!
Dream machine!!
Nice review Tom! That's a nice classic 😊
What a gorgeous car. THE classic Ferrari design.
Ugh, it just sounds lovely! Especially the intake sound 😍

Damn Tedward!! 🔥🔥👌
I love the new camera angles! Keep up the good work!
No time to text and drive with this vehicle! What a beautiful car!
Awesome sauce. Thanks for the experience brotherman.
British Design like Aston Martin

Love these new camera angles
If 007 was Italian this is what he would have driven.
what an orgy of mechanical sounds.... Jeeeez
God please give me the chance to drive any Colombo v12 ferrari once in my lifetime
A gentleman's Grand Tourer. Fantastic.
You have the best job in the world.
What a gem
Great to see one of these!! Gearbox needs a look.

Thank you! I can't remember the clutch weight which likely means it wasn't particularly heavy. I usually remember the brutal ones
What an elegant, handsome car. Yowza!
I love the orchestra of the 250 Colombo engine. No sound like it!
Day 63 of asking Tedward to drive the S60R
Mgmmm. What a treat that would be to drive.
Oh good lord that is achingly beautiful
Hey Tedward, when will you do a POV on a 1970 Dodge Charger? It'd be really sick, love your videos.
Love the Ferrari but I'd also love to see a late 90s BWM 750il
Italian car in these times is a very probably faillure but is beatiful
9:17 I'm glad you said it. It looks like a truck to drive, albeit one with a very nice-sounding engine!
It’s wild how much more advanced the 330 and 365 feel within the same decade. It’s not completely fair since the 250 came out in the 50s. But still!
Delicious interior😂❤
Sono italiano.
“MAMMA MIA”. ❤ 🏎️ 🇮🇹

Love watching these Videos. Not in a class where I am shopping for one. I will just take out my low mileage for its age 99 Miata.
Miata's rule!

Bro in Civic was about to cut across, and was like 'fk no, not crashing into something my insurance will not cover'.

I'd love to! It's gorgeous
@ unfortunately we may have to wait until Spring! The salt has been laid down in my area!
Classy-Sporty, V12 heaven, very nice, spending my imaginary money on it :)

Because they are wire wheels with a knock off center hub. That’s just what they are. Today they’d be called center locks instead of knock offs
@@TedwardDrives I see, now it all makes sense. 😄I thought you're saying they're replicas/fakes.
I’d be terrified of some soccer mom in a big SUV yelling at little Madison in the back seat… crunch!

Very Aston db5 Ferrari ❤
Babe Tedward posted a vid, it’s a stick shift, just how you like em
Anyone else see the speedo go on vacation a few times? Properly Italian there!
Good Eye! We actually fixed the broken speedo gear after the first drive when it was dead...so the times its working is the second drive
@@TedwardDrives that's the thing with older cars - stuff just breaks randomly!

OOOOOF 🤤

Are you being followed by a mobility scooter?
There were so many beautiful cars a few decades ago. Why are the most of the modern cars so ugly and bad sounding?
government regulations and corporate profiteering. i.e., capitalism
