Formalhaut is one of the best guns in Final Fantasy 12 which makes it perfect for this stage of our Weak Mode playthrough. It is collected from Cerobi Steppe with a small chance of appearing. However, we can alter the RNG to force it to show!
The healing sequence needed is 87,93,92.

Final Fantasy 12 was first released way back in 2006 on the PS2. At the time, it was considered somewhat controversial by many Final Fantasy fans due to its departure from traditional FF gameplay. However, it is now looked back on fondly and many would consider Final Fantasy XII to be the best entry in the franchise. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana. For this remastered release, these additional changes are being brought to us fans in the West for the first time ever - along with high resolution textures and remastered soundtrack!

I've had a hell of a time getting it to work with the reks method. My RNG keeps putting me too far down the table when I start. So I have decided to just zone in/out until the chest spawns and then using penelo to heal and find where I am on the table with the RNGHelper app. After that it's using punches/ethers/cures to manipulate myself into a position where the next two lines are in favor. (for most of the step it's 80+ then 95+)
Just tested while having reddas in the party and it still works!! Multi hit does count as one hit! Thanks so much for the video!
Is there a much more powerful gun they included in the zodiac age besides Fomalhaut? Also did they change the chance to get the Fomalhaut in the Tchita Uplands, because I managed to get it in the original in a chest, at the Uplands.
Yeah this straight up does not work for me. I tried everything including making a fresh Reks save, when loading the autosave not the Fomalhaut or the Brave Suit chests spawn. These two are my only issues using RNG manipulation so far and I can't for the life of me figure out the problem. On PS4.
EDIT: OK so, I read somewhere randomly about turning off the online connection seemingly help put you lower on the RNG table. I tried it and it did in fact lower my RNG table, got the alternative 92,88,94 as my cure values and it spawned the chest, the method was hitting myself unarmed 27x and then casting cure on myself 6x with no buffs on the character to mess up RNG potentially, got the Fomalhaut first attempt this way.
If anyone else is having trouble I hear its not guaranteed to work for everyone but its worth trying.
Might be worth noting that I also made sure it was SUNNY in Feddik river when I entered to make auto save. Not sure if that is related at all to the RNG though.
I spent like almost two hours doing this and it didn’t work for me, I did the reks thing and after the sequence and went back to the title screen and into the saved file but the chest was not there... Two times I did this and it took me forever
I only play ff12 zodiac age. Lightning returns is also a favourite. Ff 7 remake is sweeeeeeeeeeet. Now waiting on ff 7 part 2 . 😊

Not working does multi hits count as one or single it's I have the cure number an the 25 hits

Man this is the only one i can't get trough the RNG manipulation, Reks won't show me the right numbers. I tried with the same file of the Great Trango but nothing. 🤔
Thanks. Hard mode with 6 machine personnel, easy to get these than stealing a mithuna from those arse holes pirates. 😊
