Chain Bridge? I think that area has been known as the "Bone Zone" since people realized you could farm there back in 06 :D
Bone zone lol
And i was so proud that i had done this on my own when i first played
IOTM2011 underrated comment
@Lordvonz aww but i always loved grinding out levels, and with a guest thw chaining was just to fun at the time. I was sad when the bridge ran out of spawns
@Lordvonz I was trying to max out the Licence Board and getting as many personal buffs at the time. That was one of my favorite grinding spots :D I never did that hunt exploit in the sand sea. Cant remember what that undeads name is
This is the first time I've seen anyone else discuss that bridge. I've used that on every playthrough I've done to get all of my characters up to level 20 before moving on with the story. In addition to that, the Bone Fragments those skeletons drop are great for building up an early stockpile of gil. Glad to see someone else finally talk about it!
yea its an amazing spot. Not as great if you abuse dustia for levels but still amazing none the less and your right its a prime spot for gil farming.
I always did that one. I went extra crazy though and farmed bone fragments and spent it all on every Monograph. I refused to continue with the game until I finished. Back to being Gil broke, but got a good bit of extra levels and don't have to think about those dumb Monographs for the rest of the game.
There's actually now an even easier way to make tons of money. And you can do it right at the start of the game.
1. Load up Trials
2. Run up the stairs to your left until you find a chest with a Diamond Armlet in it
3. Beat Trial 1
4. Intentionally die in Trial 2
5. Reload your auto-save (the one that says "Trials" on it)
6. Go sell the Diamond Armlet for SIX THOUSAND gil then save your game
7. Repeat the process until you're filthy damn rich
The only thing that can stop this from working is if you're currently wearing a Diamond Armlet while doing this as it will turn that Diamond Armlet chest into a First Aid. So make sure you are NOT at ANY point wearing a Diamond Armlet while doing this.
And obviously, save 1 Diamond Armlet for that quest to get the Seitengrat since at least 1 Diamond Armlet will be needed. =P So don't sell them all. Sell all of them...except for 1.
if your going to get the seitengrate then you dont even need the monographs a single seitengrate is all you need to clear everything.
True. But some people are completionists and will go after Seitengrat without actually ever using it likely until doing the Trial gauntlet or fighting the Judges at Trial 100. At that point, it's a good thing to have even if you didn't plan on using it in the main story. Which would still warrant getting the monographs since otherwise, you'd be planning to play normally.
Also as a heads up, it turns out the auto-save does not act as a save state, sadly. Save states load you into the same instance every time. Thus with a save state, you'd be able to keep the chest on screen until you eventually got the bow. But the auto-saves in this act like a zone-in, thus load you into random instances each time you load them up. So you could go from having the chest there, to loading up your auto-save and the chest now being gone.
So in this case, I honestly feel that it'd be best to just zone in and out of the deck area manually as it's much faster than constantly reloading your auto-save. Especially since the auto-save doesn't guarantee the chest will stay there.
Don't believe Ondore's lies!
Todd Howard It's "Don't listen to Ondore's lies", you uncultured swine!
FF12 has so much wasted meme potential.

I did the lhusu method when still in the prison escape. Let the bettery mimic eat all the power and just farm Skeltons
I always liked getting the Deathbringer sword in Barheim Passage. 90 attack, chance to instant KO an enemy. can be stolen from Ithuno, rare mimic. can get multiple of them.
Yeah, I loved it, you get endgame swords almost immidiately after completing the team.
Thank you for this tip
Can you explain exactly where and how to get it?
The exp charm that gives 2x exp for the person wearing it can be found in nam-yensa sandsea in the area above the areathat leads to tomb of raithwall it will be on one of those metal towers in a chest next to 2 other chests
For the first tip You forgot to mention, that the first two KI are available from the board AFTER you defeat first Hunt Mark.
I'm now determined to get the Seitengrat and then not use it. Because I have no interest in breaking the game, but lots of interest in collecting every weapon.
Musashi1596 same here. I’m waiting until I go against Yasmat to get the seitengrat bow. The Zodiac age version changed how I used gambits and my fighting paradigm. I used to use Van & Basch to constantly deal heavy damage while Fran or Penelo would hang back constaly casting curaja, and casting enhancement spells. Balthier and Ashe would play dual supporting roles dealing damage and healing. Zodiac age made that more difficult to achieve.
Did you get it???
An alternative to the Dustia farm is the skeleton that sometimes spawns in the zone just before Dustia (he spawns near a dive talon.) He only gives about 200 exp less, and is less likely to KO you. Personally, I did the Dustia until I was around level 15, then I went into trials to get the mythril blade and karkata blade (stage 3,) then I progressed to stage 9 and steal farmed the rare zu there until it dropped the rift crossbow. I farmed LP from stages 1-10 until I had enough LP to equip the karkata and proceeded to farm bonus steal items in trials 1-14. The Karkata's confuse effect stunlocked most encounters, so I did a hit and steal pattern to ensure I was fairly safe. After I had the armor and accessories I wanted, I loaded the trial up and farmed the wild Dino in eastersand and the werewolves in southsand. When I was around level 30 I swapped my job to a timemage, equipped my rift crossbow, and farmed the dive talons in westersand (they give around 2k each and there are 3 in a group next to the slime/ toad cave... which is also a decent farming spot since you can get teleport stones from the toads.) I immobilized the birds (a spell you can pick up in trials 11 from a chest) and shot them down until one dropped the burning bow, I then swapped to the ranger job. The burning bow does extra damage when using fire arrows, which i stole from the boss in trial 11, and can oneshot the birds when you are at critical health, with a max LP board, and the amulet you find in the trial 10 chest. You waste a bit of time walking between the maps to force a spawn, but you don't have to buy phoenixdowns by doing this method. Alternatively you can chain farm the toads in the cave for tele stones and use the teleport crystal in westersands to get to the Fort faster. That will save you a lot of walking.
Bonus tip, if you do decide to go daggers, for some reason, you can steal the assassin dagger from Tiamat (stage 13 I think?) Tiamat gets stun locked from the karkata, and the dagger is a common steal from her, so it won't take too long to get that. It does an on hit KO effect. Also, the whole 1% drop chance for the burning bow (and bone helm etc) happens more times than you would think when you are spamming a mob for exp. I had 4 bone helms and 15 burning bows (and 9 of the werewolf axe) by the time I hit level 55, in about 10 hours of playtime. Note, you can't chainfarm the dino. It's also false that the weather has to be sunny for the burning bow to drop. I had one drop in a sandstorm.
Just picked this game up for the first time I'm really enjoying the content you've made for this game and your disgaea 5 videos were supreme keep it up!
There is actually a much more simple way to kill those skeletons in the Luhsu mines. Simply set all your char to Foe:Undead attack. They won't attack anything else. I've been doing that with this game since the original version of FFXII. On top of that another good place to farm for money and LP is in the Barheim Passage while escaping from Nalbina. Since you can't get the Foe:Undead gambit till after you leave. Simply have Vaan set with Foe:HP 100% Steal. Have him as your party leader and everyone else set with Foe:Party leader's target attack. I walked out of there in just a few hours with Vaan, Fran, and Balthier's first job about 3/4 finished. Along with a ton of money from constantly selling stacks of 99 Bone Fragments and Dark stones which a few different monsters in there drop. Back during the original game I actually used the Barheim Passage to rack up enough LP to max out everyone's boards before I left. As well as usually having enough money to carry me through the rest of the game.
Sebastian Morgan There is a rare bat that qualifies as undead on the lhusu bridge. But that can be avoided with evasion.
iMmmmm
The Seitengrat can be gotten in 10min with RNG manipulation on a separate save file using Reks to set it up. I got 6 of them in about 25min after the initial setup.
Yes, I get that I'm 2 years late to the party.
Dude I just watched a video less than a week ago about that abuse and was going to say something lol
Do that on xbox one lol
I swear by the Dustia grinding trick and also those Abysteel bats in the Henne Mines.
I had more than 500 hours of gameplay on the ps2 version, but since I didn't had internet I've never know any of this (except for the old friend Dustia wich was already dead on my game when I knew the trick).
Now, having just started the new game, I've come across this video, and after seeing it, my question was: Do I really need to do this?
My answer is no, better play like in the old times, no internet, no guides, just enjoy the game like you would enjoy it ten years before.
yea you dont have to do any of these (well you do need the monographs for the best gear) these just help you get a leg up on the first half of the game.
the video is really useful for both old and new players, but easy grinding it's not my type of gaming, better stick to the x4 speed and go back and forth all the zones killing shit XD
Nivers-T dustia dosnt perma die you just have to zone 3 areas away or just leave altogether
THIS NAME IS GOING TO BE LONG JUST CUZ IT CAN yup i noticed that, different language game and i got the wrong monster name
Exactly I couldn't agree more, trials and errors
honestly i say its best to aim for the burning bow befor you get any party members. i do suggest using the quickening method since the game auto saves when u go into a new area. heres how i do it
1: go to the furthest area of the western sand. and set the game to lowest speed and wait.
2: use a quickening and dont kill the talon doing damage is fine but dont kill it
3: lure it back to the exit point and leave the area use save crystal to restore quicken.
4: go back to the area and reuse the quickening on the one you lured.
5: repeat 3 and 4 untill dead.
6: if he didnt drop quick to menu with out leaveing the area and reload the auto save.
7: repeat steps 3-6 until it drops.
tip: if it starts using kamakazi just take the hit and reload.
all though you still only have a 1% chance this way allows you to quickly reload the game and retry the kill.
once you obtain the burning bow have vaan equip it and kill werewolfs. in 2 hours you can easy get to lv 40+. with a load of gold as well from selling loot. i suggest doing hit and run tatics to do this and not get hit by them. getting the hp licence's help
Can I just say, I know this took you ages to do. But we all love you for it. Good work mate
Wow primal, thanks for all ur tips! Keep it up man.
Burnging bow/ Dive Talon Farming : location Dalmasca Westersand/Windtrace Dunes @ The Western Divide entrance. Zone 2 over to Ogir-Yensa Sandsea to get the Dive Talon to Re-spawn. I got the bow with a 17 kill chain.
IF you have your full party/second job it is possible to do it with out the knot of Rust farming. I was at level 28, used Archer, Timebattle Mage, Machinist and Larsa with range weapons. used 74 Knot of Rust.
thanks for the walk through ;-)
I got lucky. Burning bow on the first drop. However, the method I used was from xAshe10x. I used dark motes gathered during dustia grinding Penelo. Lure one to the zone exit that leads to the diamond armlet (i believe thats the eqipment chest that spawns there) and zone into that zone. The damage you dealt is maintained on the enemy. You can heal, zone back in and repeat. Once you get it down to one dark mote to kill, do not zone out. In TZA autosave mechanic can be abused. So dark mote, loot, and if you do not get the bow just quit to title and load the autosave rinse and repeat. This will conserve resources and you can get the item from just one dive talon.
Awesome stuff man. Thanks for describing the differences between the versions. It’s good to know what we can and can no longer do! 😃👍🏽
There's also a great spot in stillshrine for chaining. Plus chaining couerls when u first enter golmore jungle
Been replaying the FF series and following many of these vids. Most of these are generally unchanged from the original release though. Getting the burning bow is relatively quick overall and even if you don’t make use of the new Trials mode, the power leveling tricks from the old PS2 days still (mostly) work. On my current replay and first on TZA, I’m about 3% into the story, so still solo with Vaan, and at level 72, with a run time of barely 20 hours (the 4x speed is a lifesaver here). I’m not as efficient with me PS2 method, taking around 85-90 hours to get to 99, but after getting the bow, you switch to Werewolves until around 30, when you can chain Dive Talons and kill them in two hits. So many ways to break this game, it’s a ton of fun no matter what you do.
I think the reason I never saw Dustia is because I'm never in critical hp when running through the estersand 😅
Monographs don't increase the drop rates, they just make it possible for some particular monsters to drop special kind of loot. For example, with Hunter's Monograph bought, Worgens in Mosphoran Highwaste will have a 10% or so chance of dropping Throat-Wolf's Blood, something you can't get as easily anywhere else. Those chances are independent of the chaining system, so if you're going after this special loot, you don't have to worry about keeping the chain up.
I'd prioritize getting Hunter's Monograph over the others. With this monograph the Bagoly enemies in Nam-Yensa Sandsea can drop Bent Staves, which sell for over 1000 gil a piece. Axebeaks, also located in that area, can drop Rainbow Eggs. Sell one of those, and you'll unlock a Hi-Potion pack in the Bazaar. If you don't have a White Mage or Red Battlemage at this point of the game, those Hi-Potions are going to be a great substitute for Cura.
If you want some additional power at the start of the game, you can buy the Warmage's Monograph, and go farm Dustia some more. One additional thing monographs do is make the Rare Games of that particular species drop Arcanas. Collect 15 of those from Dustias, then go fly a Skyferry and buy 33 Gysahl Greens from the vendor onboard. Sell all this stuff, and you'll unlock Hermes Sandals in the Bazaar, which grants +5 to Strength and permanent Haste. The only real downside is that they're kinda expensive, and their licenses are a bitch to get to, regardless of which job you pick.
Sage's Monograph is a complete waste of gil, buy it if you're going for 100% completion. The only thing they do is make the Entites drop Electrums, which are only used to make the Golden Axe. Not only can you find this axe later on in the Necrohol, but you can also make Scorpion Tail F, a much better weapon for a Foebreaker, way before the final ingredient for the axe becomes accessible. Unless they've changed Electrum's use in TZA, it's absolutely worthless.
you're right about the drop rates, my bad i worded it very wrongly (and incorrectly as you mentioned). The reason i didnt include the hermes in this video was due to the fact i was going create a seperate video for them. although i didnt actually know about the rainbow eggs so thank you for that, ill be taking advantage of that myself.
No worries, mate. FF XII, both the original and IZJS, have so many optional things in them, you could make many videos on how to break it at any given point, really.
i knew about the monographs, but not how to get them....
nice to know considering that the grinding in this game is still horrendously long despite the speed up function...
HelloWyrm Got all them and the jar but thanks, good info :)
HelloWyrm You actually need the Canopic Jar to get Arcana drops, not the monographs.
In the version you are displaying it on, which I'm also playing "FF12 International Zodiac Job System" on the PS2 Emulator. You can't actually farm Pheonix Downs from the Eastersands location. It's a "potion" instead.
Got an early copy and this is helping out a lot, thanks so much!
No worries, glad its helping :)
Dude awesome video, well put together and great entertainment how you explain things aswell as being nice n clear. Keep up the good work man! /Suscribes!!
Primalliquid long as you keep up the epic content I'll be here watching bro!
I didn't know that undead foes are vulnerable to healing magic until this year. I played this game when it was on ps2!!! Lol
Seth Hawkins It's actually this way in every Final Fantasy, if you play anymore of them, you can utilize the same tactic.
The burning bow is even better once you get the fire arrows, because the bow actually has a fire elemental bonus, it will make your attacks with the fire arrows 50% stronger.
He mentions this in other video
And a wind 50% combo too
That Bridge is easy to get the LP for quickenings, if you manage to take out Bagamin in the boss fight using them you don't have to run at all
Good exp and gil farm is to go to the golmore jungle with an ice weapon and an exp charm use only one character and kill cats by the entrence and exit to the ozmo area then go back to respawn everything note you have to go two areas away to respawn enemys the cats are worth 1000exp or 2000 with the charm their pelts are worth 400 something and if you chain em they drop 1 to 4 pelts per great area for gil and leveling up to about 60
I usually try not to look for help or guides on my first playthroughts. But i'm playing it now, and I picked up the chain bridge thing on my own, though I haven't abused it a whole lot yet. Wanted to keep going. I didn't know about the items to increase drops though, time to talk to vendors.
Hey man, watched your video and really enjoyed it (Thanks for the awesome content btw) but I've been having some issues getting a lot of things to work. It seems as though they've fixed quite a few of the things you've mentioned here before the pc release. Examples being on the chain bridge after you get to a chain of 40 they stop spawning or how knots of rust don't drop from those chests in the Estersand anymore. I know this is a super painful thing I'm asking you to do but is there any chance at all you could look at doing another video for the people who bought the pc remaster?
I have the PC ver and they do all still work. Once they stop spawning on the bridge run back 2 screens and then go back to the bridge and they will spawn again. (Like i said in the video) for knots of rust you need the diamond armlet equiped to your main character (The person who runs around on the screen)
So I've interacted with the hunt board at least 80 times now and nothing has happened, still only the same 4 grimoires in the store for the vendor interactions. Do I have to beat rogue tomato 1st before the board interactions count?
I love the way you answer my questions without me asking 😂
You can also farm exp charms about mid way into thr game at the tchita uplands the cats there have a 3% chance of droping one if you pouach it blind someone then have them use sight unseen ability it will lower the cats up to close to 1hp then pouch it repeat till you have 2 or 3 charms note it can only be pouched you cant steal or have them drop it
Id like to add that you need to complete the first hunt rogue tomato b4 the hunt board monographs are available
Can anyone help me out ? I have a question the gear or rare loot you get from enemies you need to sell it to the shops for bazaar goods right ? Is that how you get the awesome kind of weapons ? I played this gale when i was 12 but never knew much about what it is i should do. Currently playing again and started over im now level 20 but still farming in the beginning just before you depart at westgate to save princess amalia i think.
i khow everything
(good job nice video)
I didn't know the monographs existed. thanks!
Do these hold up in the HD remake?
Hi
Quick question, do you have to do the stuff with monograph by a certain point in the game. Cause of how expensive they are
No, you can get them whenever.
Guys the technick charge is almost useless by itself, but coupled with with syphon can provide endless MP to your mage without using your items. Symply siphon the dps in the squad who is beserked, in most cases the dps does not have actions to take, but character will bulk MP like crazy. P.S. this is for ps2 version, you improvise with the new version.
Does anyone know if these apply to the switch version as well?
I remember not getting the burning bow until after I had killed 100 dive talons and then getting the second one on the very next drop. RNGesus works in mysterious ways.
The bridge in lhusu mines is excellent for farming
great guide
Maybe a stupid question, but the knot of rusts I'm using do little to no damage to these birds for me. But I did notice im lower level than you are here, my Vaan is 13, while yours is 22 does that make a difference or am I doing something wrong?
It's funny but back when the english patch came out I played the game with two groups of characters with 1 WM and 2 DMG dealers (physical) each, it was actually funny until there was enemies strong against physical attacks and the party was wiped out (I was already past 70% of the game and the hunts were a nightmare), maybe this time i'll get to make a good party but I suck at choosing classes because I always think about the funniest comps first instead of the most useful. I can recall having like 9 saves with different comps lul The game actually compensates with giving each class at least 1 op weapon or equipment but some of them are late near the end or if you grind them. Nice tips man, I look forward to know more as I forgot about almost everything now haha
you might be very intrested to know that ill be making job guides ether today or tomorrow.
there is actually still a way to get the Seitengrat 100% of the time look it up on youtube its easy to find and to do youll know your on the right one if you have to load a game from when you control Reks
Ive used another thing on top of those; with the Gladius I started killing the werewolves that drop the Kotetsu.
When you realize a chain of mob and don't take the loot the chain lvl grow faster. If you kill approximately 35 mobs without looting drops you can have the last chain lvl insteadof killing more than 160 mobs.
I'm french and i don't speack english very well but i hope you understand what i mean.
thank you for this
glad you liked it :)
What were you killing the dive talons with? Knots of rust?
I'm just going to give up on the Seitengrat. That RNG is rid-ic-ul-ous 😱
Using thunder on flying creatures is also very effective...
The rng manipulation works for the ps4 version as well, not just the ps2 version
Is true that on PS4 when Penelo level resets when she returns after her 1st time?
with wich monster you build the chain ?
Cat ears hoods to build insane Gil > steal turtle shell chokers from Gil snapper in trial mode > infinite mp forever
Well, just got the game, I think you have to do the rogue tomato hunt before unlocking the hunt board monographs. I could not make them appear before.
You actually have to complete the second hunt, the giant wolf thextra. After that you can unlock them all
i wonder what the optimum class set up is?
"Stop hitting yourself"
I farmed Burning Bow once you come back from Bhujerba with Penelo as a monk equipped with a pole, Balthier casting Disable and Gravity and a healer. I got 2(!) burning bows in one drop at around 40 chain and a third around 50 chain. My RNG is god-tier. I tried the Knot method but farming knots sucks ass.
Heh, I've always regularly done 4 and 2 every time I've played! :p 5 I only learned about last night...I mean, I knew the grimoires existed, I just didn't know they could be bought as soon as 3 hours in.
3 I knew about, but I don't have the patience for, and 1? The only trick I _didn't_ know about on this list...but relax, it's not worth taxing my sanity to obtain.
Anyone watching this video in 2024, there is now what is called the RNG Cure List that will allow you get every single item you want out of its particular chest, along with the invisible weapons. This includes knowing how to make a chest spawn. Just takes a little time to understand it. But once you do, no more spending hours hoping for an item out of a chest.
Can Anyone explain do the only char with diamond accessories who throw the rust know to get burning bow? Thanks
Playing for the first time since 2007 after spending 450 hours across two playthroughs. I don’t want to break the game (even though I know how it ends), but I do want a Seitengrat for bosses with 50 million HP and upper levels of Trial Mode. But I don’t want it badly enough to spend more than 15 minutes at a time on it.
what emulater was that?
So I’m trying to get the bow but the chest isn’t showing up on the airship (yes I know it’s invisible) I’m going to the same spot and nothing is popping up
The burning bow is worthwhile for an Archer/red mage as it boosts fire damage. Fran in my game has that and a black robe for fire and darkness attacks.
in the original i farmed it, my entire team had burning bows early game
@@corydavis9924if you got one. Is it able to farm it again?
Hey Primaliquid, thanks for the Video, but quick question, the Limbur Wolf, i cant seem to get it to spawn after killing the other two wolfs, if there some type of per-requisite?
15 wolf chain
Thanks dude, i figured that out, but i spent 2/3 hours trying to steal the Gladius, didnt work lol.... :(
How long did it take you to get the gladius?
3-4 minutes
Some cool tips, I don't know if I'd wanna break the game that early though and ruin it for myself, I knew about the dagger, but not the bow, will have to wait and see
This game is so intricate in its design. I love it.
More like so rng heavy and tedious/boring

Its the first time I picked up this game and I can't even get passed escaping the palace lol. My party just keeps dying, and everytime I start over from the last save point Vaan a lot of times keeps attacking something that is not there and dies.Any tips on that?
What is in the Lighthouse's Basement? I had a hell of a hard time moving down that because of a lack of map.
One of the invisible weapons. The Great Trango
What about the rng manip method for getting Seitengrat?
Good day sir, may i ask how do you get the gils to buy the monographs at the start of the game? As it is quite expensive at the start. Would appreciate if anyone could help me out. Thanks.
hey there most people use the chainbridge or dustia for gil this early however theres an even better method for gil now which can be done from the very first save point in the game (Well after you get control of Vaan atleast) which ill be making a video on tomorrow.
use trial mode in trial 1 u get 2 chests 1 with a potion 1 with the diamond armlet get both then kill the rats die in trial 2 load the auto save and u will have the diamond armlet sell it for 6k if u want to repeat save game and quit to start and do trial again
Do these only work on the new version or do they work on lets say a ps2 emulator? I am desperate to know
they work on the emulator aswell.
I found some sword cald debolica that is like deathbringer but has a 100% chance to insta kill. The undead well there dead two cause of it being blest with phoenix downs
what mean dashboarding after have make a quick save ? (i'm not english)
You don't need 99 Knot of Rust and kill a lot of Dive Talon for combos.
1. Just throw in a few knots of rust to Dive Talon until you only need 1 more hit to kill it.
2. Run towards portal with the monster following you, zone out then zone back in.
3. Monster should still be there and just kill it with 1 hit.
4. If it didn't drop the bow, go back to main menu then load the autosave and you'll get back where you only need 1 hit to kill it then repeat until you get the burning bow.
I got mine this way, easier and also got it where the weather is cloudy. Though I figured this method after farming about 80 knots :)
problem is thats just RNG in a nutshell, yes the zoning method is a thing, the problem though is the stupidly low drop chance for bow with no chain. heck even with a chain its still stupid. the problem with RNG is consistancy. somebody could do ether your methad or mine and get it first drop. likewise somebody could spend 12 hours a day for a year and still not get it with ether method. Yours is banking on a quick drop. mine is there expecting a long farm.
How do you kill dive talon's with knots of rust?
The knots of rust in my game do very little damage.
There damage is based on your characters Max HP
Shit, I'm like 10 or 12 hours into the game and I'm really tempted to start over to try and figure out this monograph thing you're talking about. I think I only half understand what you're describing because not a lot of it was explained besides for how many times you need to interact with the various vendors, but I can do that so hopefully it'll just work when I do it the number of times you say.
monographs essentially just make some mobs drop rarer items, dont restart specificly for them
Dear primalliquid. You rearrange your gambits one at a time top to bottom like an absolute maniac. Thank you for all of the life you waste for us. Im impressed in 10 or 20 minutes for what took you an existential crisis amount of time. Sending love from Texas. Please get plenty of sun
Love this game, restart it after 8 years now😁
linbur wolf only appears after you get a chain of 20 or more wolves without leaving the westersand and THEN you go to the mentioned spot .
Thx. Wondering why he wasnt spawning
@9:15 The good old manipulate RNG method.
Here's the main reason Lvl grinding earlier on is a thing: When you have a new party member join your team, that new member's Lv will be (usually an additional +2 Lv's higher than your max) saving you time from having to individually Lv grind each party member. So if you happen to get Vaan Lv99 before entering Barheim Passage, everyone else that joins will already be of maximum experience saving LOADS of time, especially since EXP earned is shared between active party members. It may seem tedious and usually is for those who are just casually enjoying the game, but for those who plan to take on Omega/Yiazmat and Stage 100 of Trial Mode, it makes a big difference since it takes a while to level up. The only other Lvl grind that surpasses the Dustia method is end-game when farming Abysteels in the (Henne?) Mines, but even then do you have to not only grind for all 6 characters, but if you also need Sleepga/Curaja to effeciently plow through them which can be an issue since you now need a WM/BM to use certain spells unlike the original where jobs weren't a thing.
My vaan is a Bushi/Red Mage and Penelo is Time mage/Black Mage, Balthier is my Shikari
Final fantasy really do be like making bridges for early level grinding to be op early
First tip is huge
hi i'm trying to check the hunt board before going to my first hunt , i've done at least 40 times, but then when i go to the Batan shop , i press X and X to open the shop and then O to close it , i've done it 30 times and nothing appears.. does am i doing something wrong ? is it too early or do u have each time u enter the shop select buy for it to be counted ?? thx for your help ^^
you have to complete the rogue tomato hunt first, and no you dont need to select buy at shops.
english is not my native langage , i though you said early in the video " as soon as you have beaten the rats in the sewers....) will try again now , thanks and keep doing this , its great content .
Got to level 16, got the diamond armlet, got lots of knots of rust. Ok ready to get the burning bow. You forgot to mention that dive talons hit like fucking trucks and knots of rust do jack shit damage if your health isn't crazy high
I ironically got the burning bow by luck when i was playing after like the tenth bird i killed before even knowing it dropped the burning bow
So i went to Lindbur Wolf in the desert the one that's supposed to spawn after you kill the other 2, but for me on Switch its not spawning, I've tried a few times now, any ideas?
You have to kill 20 wolves in the surrounding area and then it'll pop up
Can anyone tell me how are you moving so fast? I enabled the X4 speed and maximum combat speed but the game runs normal for me. Just the menus and dialogue are really fast
Sounds like you might be having problems with your ps4 maybe, the only reason it should move slower are when your getting bad FPS drops. I had them a few times myself while playing but they were quite rare.
Seems like a lot of "not playing the game" in order to over-level your characters. I think I'd rather just play the game.
Ewan Sinclair True. Same with trying to get the invisible op weapons, which was no fun at all.
Especially for overleveling, what you do afterwards? Running around with gambits on smashing everything getting into your way....
THAT must be the most funny thing you can do. Playing the game, to not play the game.
The dustia grinding is useful for challenge runs should you do those.
Final fantasy can be mostly grinding. Notoriously so for it especially to get all the "special" items
Well if u guys just wanna play just as it is probably shouldn’t look for any tips and trick vids online, that’s what I did :/
5:47 mother of LOD models, it looks like it's from starfox
Hello. I wanted to know in the English patch of the ffxii izjs whether a character can learn two jobs or only one plz reply.
IZJS can only have 1 job. if you want 2 then you need to play the zodiac age.
Primalliquid but won't that lock many magicks and weapons. Wtf were they thinking. Is there anything to balance it then?. Also thanks for replying
That was the idea, in the original 12 everybody could do everything and basicly become clones at the end of the game and so they made jobs. And no it doesnt need balancing. If anything The zodiac age just takes all the difficulty out of the game.
Primalliquid no i mean i can only play the English patch of 2007 izjs and if one character can have only one job, it kinda sucks
I thought it had 2 per character as in the ZA but guess i was wrong.
