- What's up guys in this video I show you exactly what and how much I am eating exactly one week out from weigh in. I make adjustments to my diet every 8-10 days depending on how the scale is reflecting. The closer I get to weigh in the larger the calorie deficit but I make sure to get adequate carbs and protein to support the training just enough.
This day was a typical Wednesday. I normally have 2 training sessions, 1 hard boxing session in the morning and an easy strength and conditioning session in the evening.

Would be very interesting to know how you handle the craving.
I get you evite most of it to eat this controlled and balanced, but still, no cravings at all??
I use to suffer from cravings but not anymore. I think a huge component is knowing exactly when you're going to eat and how much. Planning helps stick with the game plan. Also, when you get those sudden cravings remember why you're doing what you are doing. ONE MORE THING, and this is huge. DON'T LABEL FOOD AS GOOD OR BAD. If I really crave something I don't tell myself I can't have it because then that makes it worse. Instead I'll have some and move on because if I tell myself I am not allowed to have something chances are I will want it more!

Do you think a boxer going vegetarian is good or bad?
It’s all based on personal preference. Whatever diet anyone can adhere to is key to success. Vegetarian diet is a great diet! Just keep in mind with more restrictions comes more consideration in food choices.

Why would you raise the fat to over 100?
Fat is energy dense but very low in weight and during fight week I am trying to drop the volume of food I am eating in order to have less food in my gut. For example: Imagine I eat 1 pound of broccoli which is about 450grams (weight) that'll only have about 160 calories! Now If I were to eat a higher fat food let's say almonds for the same 1 pound (450 grams) that would be roughly 2500 calories.
Essentially, I don't want to lower my calorie intake dramatically this last week and will replace those calories I consume from carbs with fat. Hope this makes sense!
