  • Whats up guys in this video I show you what I eat throughout the day. Just to be clear I don't eat this every single day. Most of the foods I do such as coffee, eggs, egg whites, oatmeal, blueberries, whey protein, fruits, and vegetables. I eat ground turkey about 4 days out of the week the others I switch between beef, chicken, or fish.
    I break down the macros for each meal which are the calories, proteins, carbs, and fats. I eat a total of 6 meals in this video. Again, I don't eat the exact same thing every day I like to switch it up sometimes i'll eat more other times not as much (usually nothing less unless I'm losing weight). I feel this amount of food fuels me for a good day of boxing training. NUTRITION STARTS THE DAY BEFORE! If I know I have a hard day of sparring I tend to eat more carbs the night before.
    Total macros for the day
    Calories: 2180
    Protein: 180g
    Carbohydrates: 246g
    Fats: 56g

      Starving before a work out is only a good idea if you need to drop weight before a weigh in. You need that fuel. A good way to learn about nutrition is to look at people of the past: peasants used to work INSANELY hard in the fields, like burning 4000-6000 calories a day and being rail thin and they'd usually eat something first thing in the morning and have a glass of small beer which was much thicker and lower alcohol then the beer wee drink today. It was like a stout in richness and calorie dense but low alcohol and that gave them a rush of carbs before work

      @@Kenny-lm4pb the not eating doesnt seem too bad but it amazes me how some people go without liquids. I knew a guy who passed out because of the combination of low blood sugar and dehydration since he had to sweat a ton, starve himself, drink nothing all day, then go weigh in and when they had a delay he had to wait around for awhile and passed out for a bit. I get hangry pretty easily when I work out alot and dont eat for too long but cant imagine doing that while also feeling like a dried out piece of beef jerky.

I eat similarly to you on a training day but I don't vary it on rest days which is probably why I can't lose weight. Do you have a video of your nutrition on a rest day and if not you should do. • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  3 года назад +8

      Thanks! 400 calories is a big difference. Why not begin with the middle eat 3000 calories daily for two weeks and see the average. If you gain weight aim for 2800 if you lose weight aim for 3200. If you stay the same then great that’s your maintenance calories!
      Once you find your maintenance I say start at a 5-10% calorie deficit until your body adapts to the new intake. Keep training, drink plenty of water, find ways to manage your stress and improve your sleep!

    I just wanted to ask, you load heavy on protein or carbs?
    Also 1gm per kg of body weight?

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  8 месяцев назад

      I need to make an updated one! I have lowered my protein intake a bit, and increased my fat intake carbs have stayed relatively the same depending on how hard the day is.
      For protein if we are basing it off of kg anywhere from 1.8-2.2g per kg of body weight if you are training. Aim for the higher end if you are cutting weight.

    Hey man I have a question. I weigh 210 pounds i'm 6'1 and apparently I need to eat 3400 calories a day to maintain a weight of 190. I was just wondering should I be on a no carb diet until I reach my goal of 190 and then go on a diet like this to maintain my weight? I've been training for a while and I'm finally just starting to take it serious to compete in an ameature boxing match but i've literally never had to count my macros or anything, I never ate the best and kind of ignorant to diets so this is all new.

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  3 года назад +2

      You shouldn't fear carbs ESPECIALLY if you are thinking of competing in boxing. Boxing is a glycolytic sport. You don't need to do a no carb diet to lose body fat what you can do is cut a mixture of fats and carbs and depending on how lean you are maybe cut out some protein as well to reach your daily calorie goal. 3400 calories is just an estimate. Try it out see how much you weigh at the end of the week (2 weeks preferred) If you are losing weight slowly then great keep those calories at 3400 if you are maintaining (210 pounds) or gaining then cut those calories and or add some easy aerobic exercise!
