Into your fall time. Here in Rochester NY just starting spring. I cut last week now it’s pouring rain 🌧️. I have some work to do on my lawn. My son bought a house last year so I’ll get his lawn going starting Sunday.
Ben, Brenton would say otherwise about your “don’t go lower than 15mm with buffalo” advice. Hahaha. Seen the bloke go to ground but of course leaving bare runners and it comes back a beauty!
G'day, It's always good seeing how you do the renovation work to your green. But you forgot to cover sand. Q. I have a Kikuyu lawn. What do I ask for in sand when I go along to purchase it. So thanks for sharing man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham. 3810.
This was a mix of coarse and fine sand. Something like an 80-20 or 90-10 also works. If you can find something that is washed, isn’t too coarse or fine or is USGA sand you’ll be set!
This is not a “core aeration” and doesn’t really do much compaction relief nor thatch relief. I guess your thatch maintenance was done only with your verticut. We call this “venting” your roots and easily allowing gas/oxygen exchange in the SE States and could be done quite often for the health of your root system.
I've always worried this project was a bit big, then the lawn care nut takes on a race track, he gonna get fit.
Procore 648 the greatest of all aeration machines!
You didn't elaborate on the type of sand as you said you would!!! :D:D
I love the little lines after a groom
Nice video thank you for your footage

Looks amazing
Man those toro corers are incredible! Great work man looks awesome.
Little bro was probably worried when he dragged up the grass 'oh no big bro gonna give me the bash for this'😂😂😂
Ahahah I was waiting for the notification 😁 Always a pleasure to watch your videos!

Mate the rocks ??
Can’t get screened ?
That green is looking mint 👌🏻
I have seen less rocks on Mars... 🤪
I’m surprised you’ve been up there 😂
The water level in the well still looking good there Ben? What’s not irrigated is looking very crispy
Damn i feel sorry for your mower just looking at that "sand"
Just a free sharpening 😂
Definitely neeeded a re-grind after that cut
Won’t solid tynes add to compaction 🤔 You want to be pulling out a plug, not further compressing the soil laterally.
three point five milimeters! That is precise.
G'day,

Great vids!! what type of sand can be used?
Why was there little stones in the sand? And what kind of sand did you use?
Damn those pebbles in that sand. Kudos to you for just keeping on with it without doing a nut.
But it's already a 100% sand base lol What am I missing?
I need that lawn tips shirt
Would you aerate the TifTuf too while you had the machine there or just no point this early on?
Waiting for the two dogs to pee on the green
Why not pour concrete and use artificial turf. This seems totally nuts, impressive but nuts.
Hey,
Why don’t you use the brush on your mower instead of the drag mat?
Would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Allett Stirling and Liberty 43
The Stirling has an under 20 second cartridge swap system
The Liberty is a fail🤫
What are your headphones mate?
How low can I scalp my rye grass ?
Great, now I want to know why Connor Ward abandoned his toro greens aerator project.
Sand type? Others have asked and I’m curious as well.

what's the depth on the groomers?
Rich people grass
Hey you didn't tell what sand is best to use.
You forgot to explain which sand to use...
I love Fatch 🤤
