I started to get the Ryobi dethatcher but I couldn't justify the cost, I ended up getting the wen corded for $150 , it's a beast with a 15 amp motor, I use the grass catcher, the only thing I don't like is the scarifier blades are not sharp so it tears some of the grass blades, my lawn bounced back after a real nice.
Brah I look forward to your vids everyday, the music and edits are great and never fail to generate a laugh. As a fellow lawn lover this channel is by far my fav!
This is my third season with my Ryobi scarifier/dethatcher. I LOVE that thing! My Bermuda thrives after using it.
I purchased the SunJoe and used it once. I have a huge yard and schleping 200 plus feet of cord was ridiculous. I can't wait to see Rick's results. Thanks, Brah.

Quick question, does your area have a green organic waste collection bin, or green organic waste drop off?
We have both in my area, green organic waste bin is collected every 2nd week, goes to an industrial facility for processing.
Green drop offs, are for the public to take full trailers of green organic waste, to processing facility.
Processed mulch can then be distributed to parks or green-space areas, or for the public to buy back the mulch.
The idea is to seperate green organic waste from hard general waste.
Picked up this Ryobi scarifier about a week ago and it hasn’t stopped raining since here in England 😢

Hey yardbrah, I have a question. So basically last year I bought the Scott’s thicker lawn 3n1. I unknowingly bought the tall fescue mix. I have Bermuda, It grew in these weird spotty patches and my good looking Bermuda has these weird fescues sticking out. What would you recommend I do?

When do you use a scarifier vs dethatcher for moss / overseeding? i've seen you use both of them for both kinds of jobs
Dethatcher if it's really bad with unwanted material.... dethatcher & scarifier if you have a ton of moss like Rick... Scarifier/Verticutter for a lawn that has a verticut schedule like me ☺🤙🏾
