i was doing ‘No Sudden Moves’ quest. I decided to kill everyone including Petrov inside the vault and before he died he was unkillable for a second putting a bounty on me. I tried jumping many times before I figured out you can jump to another part of space where you dont have a bounty; so you can clear bounties. before figuring that out I ran into this random guy he opened fire on me probably cause of my previous jump where I must Hail to authorities but I didnt. so if you dont jump everyone starts trying to kill you normally I think, not just authorities.

He’s a pirate. I played the main and went to starborn. I have twice the money he does and I have beaten the crimson fleet as well.
