- replicating the pizza dough sandwich I had on my other channel 10bites, link here to that vlog:
• ditch DOMINOES and try...
That cost £5.50 which I think is really reasonable (it was delicious) so I thought I must try and make my own here on BCUK and how much will it cost?!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching....

Pizza dough:
400g plain or all-purpose flour
225ml water
1 tsp/sachet dried yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
Fillings of your choice - I had:
mozzarella (4 slices)
sliced tomato (2 slicedl
pesto (100g)
olive oil (to drizzle, was about 16ml)
Pop dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, yeast) into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Make a well and add the olive oil and water, bring together to make a rough dough.
Pop onto a floured surface and knead lightly for 1 minute.
If making 2 pizzas, form into a big sausage shape and cut in half.
Place on 2 prepared parchment papers that have been lightly floured and leave to rest for about an hour.
Once rested, shape the dough to the paper size (if cut double required as you will use the paper to flip over when making the sandwich)
drizzle with olive oil before folding over (the paper will help) drizzle on top and pop in AF.
Ninja 210c/410f BAKE setting 5/7 mins then flip for further 2/3mins (you could try a lower temp and cook for 10mins before flipping)*
COSORI oven 220c/430f BAKE setting 5/8mins flip for further 2/3 mins*
Other AFs similar time and temp to above - always check half way through and adjust if needed
*timings do not have to be too long as it will be baked again with fillings in on a hot oven
Once cooked, leave to cool a little before prizing open (be careful hot steam and you may need some gentle persuasion with a small knife to open)
pop fillings inside, wrap in foil and pop back into AF for further 5 mins or so.
Lastly, drizzle with remaining olive oil before eating - ENJOY!
nb: made it again and with modifications: Doubled the filling ingredients and added ham (was after the chorizo but someone ate that!!) also on 2nd bake (with filling in & wrapped in foil) cooked on airfry 200c/390f 10mins, to really get the mozzarella melting)

Another one bites the crust!
I'm so glad you share the recipes, as we knead to know them. Anyone who didn't want to try that pizza sandwich must be a right weirdough!
Luckily for you, I've now run out of pizza puns. I cannoli do so many 🤣🍕🤣🍕
Wow they look so delicious Kerry. I must have a go at those ❤
i use pitta breads the cheap ones then added sun dried tomato paste with basil and grated cheese with garlic mushrooms
Oh that sounds delish your fillings, pitta breads are a great option yum 😋👍💕
Hi Kerry
They look delicious 😋
Looked lovely 😊
I was hoping you'd do this!! Looks amazing, Kerry 👏👏👏❤️
Hi There Dear Kerry , So Good and Filling The Price for a Family just perfect ❤pizza sandwich Xxx
TY. I love your videos.
A lady from New Zealand Farmers wife, put the fillings in and then cooked them from raw, So to speak, but she did use an oven.
Another yummy one Kerry. Like the way you replicate the takeaways. Much nicer and way cheaper. Keep up the good work Kerry.
Thank you Julie😀💕💕
Hi Kerry those look great for a picnic. When I’ve made mine I usually cook mini ones but cook like a normal pizza with filling on then fold halfway through cooking and quickly crimp the edges before putting back into the air fryer to finish off but I’ll give your recipe a try 🍕❤️
They look so yummy ❤
Hi Kerry, yes yes yes Oooo they look soooo good and fun to make and now I'm starving😏 Byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
I made it again tonight Jen, and doubled the filling amounts - deeeelish😋😋😋
It was me that told you to scrunch the greaseproof paper, good isn't it 😆 the pizzas looks delicious x
Hi Kerry these are like caldizoni, Italian folded pizza, these came out brill, th3 y look so tasty.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Made it again tonight with modifications Christine😀👍💕, have edited recipe as well. Doubled the filling and baked on hotter oven for longer on 2nd bake, get that mozzarella really melted. Absolutely delicious 😋😋😋😋
Really nice way to get a pizza into a manageable sandwich, love the idea I really must get out more to try these.
Made me hungry haha xx
They look yummmmmmyyy Kerry 😊xx
Thank you Janis👋😀💕
Hi Kerry..I've a vague memory of this being called Calzone in an Italian pizza restaurant..kal zonee??? Yummy any which way!! Hugs. Xxx hmmm...perhaps put filling in before folding n cooking???
A folded pizza is a calzone an Italian ( Neapolitan) folded pizza with all sorts of fillings it is filled folded then 😊and baked and easy to eat as a hand pie
Just great Kerry will have to have a go at thease clever you xx
Hi Kerry, tell you what your spinning these out! I do a mini version of this a bit like 'pizza scone' i use a cleaned out tuna tin to get the same thickness, and get them all the same diameter 'I know I'm a cheap skate for not buying a proper ring' but the tin was free. i can then half them and get the same result except there mini ones, i buy tom and herb in a carton, and pesto to dip in or maybe sweet chili sauce.
I really like your tuna can idea Harry, does the job just as well as a cutter, bonus you've saved some ££ as well. Think I might try your method, boys would love the mini ones (me too lol) 😋😋😋
I will definitely have to try this out looked fantastic and economical too 😀
Evening Kerry, I love that you are giving this a try. It's definitely something I would make, but we would all have our own fillings 😂😂. I will have chicken tikka and red onion in mine 😋 , can taste it just now haha thanks Kerry, have a great night xxxx Jacs 💚❤️
Oooo Jacs, your fillings sound scrumptious, love that combo. Made it again tonight, but doubled the filling and did the 2nd reheat (with fillings) hotter for longer - wrapped in foil, will adjust recipe. Oh and I added a bit of cut up rosemary to the dough ingredients 😋😋😋😋 hope you're all well🥰🥰🥰
@budgetcookinguk ahhhh that sounds amazing. I'm still using your tikka recipe from moons ago 😋. Just have to play round with ideas. We are all good. I've been getting a wet room fitting for me, which had been a nightmare, but it will look anasjnd when it's finished. Weigh in tomorrow 🤪 not sure how it will go buy I need to stay in and wire my jaw shut after it hahaha xxxx
Very good! 👍
Looks so good kerry Lois
Thank you Lois👋😀💕
Another great recipe Kerry, I love your Naan pizzas, I haven’t bought a pizza since, just the right size for one and put whatever toppings you like ❤️
Just got back to lincs, after a lovely nice long break in Devon, you had asked how my garlic was doing, mine is still not ready, the leaves are still fairly green , so I will leave a bit longer yet. Nothing is growing much at the moment, I think it’s been to cold, someone told me toda that from the 16th a 30deg heatwave was on its way. So we will believe that when it happens. You dish looked good.
Thank you Karen👋😀💕 has been a bit on the chilly side but I don't like heatwaves either!😆glad your devon hols was lovely💕
@@budgetcookinguk aw we will be going back in a few weeks, we there most of the summer months then back here in lincs in between. Our second home hehe.

Hi Kerry. Just found your Chanel 🥰 Would you recommend the Ninga as looking to buy air fryer and do you have a normal pizza video 😊
Hi Beverlea👋😀💕 I use the ninja nearly daily, it's great love it. I really rate the cosori dual blaze as well. Have a pizza playlist plus there is a ninja playlist and cosori one too.

Hi Kerry xxxxx
Hi Jennifer 👋😀💕
Bit like a calzone
It is isn't it Jennifer😀👍 although calzones are crimped shut and cooked with fillings inside, think there is egg in the recipe as well. The italian word for these pizza sandwiches is poss panuozzo (think there are other names depending on filling) never knew about these til recently!😄💕💕 made it again tonight with fillings doubled, absolutely delicious
My goodness Kerry, those look amazing, removing the tomato and adding ham or pepperoni and jalapino's in there would just make it perfect for me,I'm salivating just thinking about it,another great video and recipe flower Xx
