- oh boy, all went very well until I realised the proved bread had STUCK to the trays. Note to self, use a piece of parchment paper (floured) to cover tray when proving bread in the airfryers. Apart from that, the bread was lovely and I will definitely have a second go especially with paper protecting the bread BOTTOMS.
Recipe below and pinned in comments, cost breakdown is at end of the vlog.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching....

Ingredients:
500g/4 cups/17.6oz Strong White Flour (or plain/all-purpose flour)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp or sachet of Dried Yeast
60ml Olive Oil
300ml Warm Water
100g/1.8 Cups/3.5oz Sundried Tomatoes
1 tbsp (15g/0.5oz) Dried Basil (or other herbs) or handful Fresh Basil
Combine all dry ingredients (flour & salt) into a large bowl,
set aside the tomatoes & basil (pop the yeast/sugar/oil into the 300ml warm water)
make a well into the flour and pour the femented water into the large bowl.
Mix until combined into a rough dough.
Tip out onto a floured surface and knead for 5/10mins
oil the large bowl to pop dough into once kneaded and leave for a few hours until risen.
Pop onto a floured surface and spread dough flat, pop roughly chopped toms & basil and fold over dough, start kneading until toms/basil are well combined.
Dough will become sticky and the toms/basil will escape and become quite messy. Keep sprinkling flour on top and knead until dough feels drier and toms/basil is combined.
Shape into one big bloomer (if using an oven 200c for 30mins) or if using AF, cut into 2, shape into rounds, place onto trays
*remember to pop a piece of floured parchment paper onto tray*
and leave to prove in warm AF.
Sprinkle with flour, slice with Lame (if using) and put on BAKE setting:
Cosori Oven: 190c/370f 20mins (may need turning over last few mins) - preheat

It looks really nice , my mouth was watering when you tasted it tested the bread. ❤😊 from Linda C
Oh Wow! this looks amazing, Kerry. I can't wait to try it. Raining latr so no work in the garden so It's going to be baking time 🙂 Will try the recipe with black olives and rosemary.Happy baking 🙂
I would suggest you use parchment cut larger than the bottom of the drawer but not tall enough to catch the element or fan giving you something to hold on to lift the loaf out. 😊👍
Thank you Marilyn😀👍💕 will definitely try that for next time. Will have another go over the weekend
That looks so delicious ❤
Morning Kerry,enjoyed the video.Lois
Doesn't matter what the bottom is like Kerry they both look so tasty and as you say we learn by our mistakes, ''Show me a person who has never failed and I'll show you a person who has never attempted anything'' another great video flower Xx
I live watching you make bread. I live your scoring. I've never used a larm..wonder if you could just rotate the blade to be able to use all four sides of the blade before having to replace with a new blade. Bread looked scrumptious. The leftover bread on the bottom of the Ninja would be great as croutons. Cut or break off in bits, spritz with olive oil, marge or butter and air fryer for a bit. Mine hardly every make it into a salad...just a great cooks treat. Thank for another fabulous vlog.
I would also make a compound butter using sundried tomatoes and basil and any other herbs etc.You could grease your pans liberally with olive oil etc.
Crispy bites with loads of proper butter yummy
Definitely Jennifer! It's all been eaten, will def make again but with parchment paper underneath!
Thank you Kerry they did look good a blind man would be glad to see them practice makes perfect I think grease proof paper would help or just put some oil in the tray or pan also if you wet your blade before slicking the bread it helps to stop it sticking So glad you do these trials it really helps me to see it’s possible in the air fryer oven .xx
Parchment paper is a must have but they look great
Love watching watching your cooking Kerry
Aw thank you Jennifer 😀💕
Looks and sounds perfect
Lovely, they look professional!
Maybe you should have oiled the Ninja basket or put baking parchment on the bottom of the basket like I do when making bread in the Ninja.
That looked banging Kerry, what I've got is nonstick bbq sheets off Amazon and then cut to size and can be re-used many times?I think YT has had me hidden as this is the 1st video I've received in ages?from BIGMICK IN HULL 😅
Hi Kerry. Definitely use parcment paper or some sort of liner for trays. I messed up airfryer bread several times til...duh moment...line the tray Mel..you donut !! Looks good n bet it tastes yummy..xxx
Yes, I always use baking parchment when I bake bread in my air fryers. Looks delicious though! I'm picturing dipping it in homemade tomato and basil soup 😋
Looks great even with torn bottoms! I butter my bread tins which go into the air fryer and my loaves just pop out, oil didn't work but butter does. Thank you Kerry., and well done Jackie for a great achievement and a great cause ! Ray.
Bet it still tasted good Kerry. Love the sound of crisp 🍞. Don't tell anybody about the underneath it's our secret 😂.
The bread looks lovely. 😊
Hi Kerry, I love watching you make bread 🍞 I'm sure I've got smellithon👃 love basil & sun dried tomato😋 They both still looked great and tasty😋 Love you show us everything, that's what we love about you💖 Byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
Aww thank you so much Jen😀💕💕 will have another go this weekend using parchment paper, will post a pic on the community page! Xxx
Oh well Kerry it will still taste lovely with butter slapped on it 😋
It was yummy with butter, whole lot has already gone. Will use parchment paper next time 😀👍💕
That looks delicious.Must have a go.Thanks.
I bet they both would make a great garlic toast.
Hi Kerry . I love Paul Hollywood bread recipes
Hi Jennifer👋😀💕 me too yum yum
Looks tasty though. I made some oat and linseed rolls on Sunday in the air fryer. Cheated a bit though as I bought the flour ready mixed, just added water. I did layer them on baking paper though to save on washing up. Turned out great. Really wanted to see how they turned out in air fryer.
Great job Kerry, looks delicious darling! Can’t wait to try. Been in hospital. Home now catching up with your vlogs xx❤❤
LOOKS Lovely
Tasted lovely too - not a scrap left, shame about the bottom. Will use parchment paper to protect the bottoms next time👍
Going to try this Thank you
What is a disaster to you, looks awesome to me! Seriously good stuff. Thank you, Kerry.
I make bread with sundried tomatoes and parmesan cheese. I don't knead in the tomatoes and cheese. I cut the dough in half, roll out each half brush over some oil and sprinkle the cheese and sundried tomatoes over the top. Then roll up and shape each half and let rise. I might add some basil to this next time.
Oh I like this method, thank you Jan😀👍💕
Toasted with cherry cheese perfect
Yum!
Hi Kerry love watching all your video's I have a question please if you could only have one of your air fryer's the Ninja or the Cosori which would you choose Keep cooking Pam xx
Hi Kerry. As a newbie to air fryers I have a question. On some of your baking cakes/bread videos I noticed you used the air frying mode rather than bake mode which has totally confused me! So if a recipe says bake at say 180c how do I know when to air fry instead of bake? 🤷♀️😊
line the airfryer baskets with baking parchment to prevent the bread sticking
Definitely will do next time😀👍
Thank you Kerry, lovely bread, this would make a change from garlic bread served with a pasta dish. I'm no expert but could the steam from the herbs and tommies caused them to stick? It looked delicious Kerry.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I think it may have done Marilyn😀👍💕quite a rich dough. Bread I did a few weeks ago didn't do this. Will be having another go this weekend, I'll post a pic on the community page
probably better mixing that one in a mixer kez it might combine better
It looks yummy doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it tastes good. Regarding your 10 bites channel have you seen the To good to go App if not check it out just an idea mind you I'm proberly behind the times anyway and you do know about it and so does everyone else 😂 🌹🐈Xxxx
