GOD BLESS YOU YOUNG MAN! That’s America right there. You went all in and you’re pouring your heart and soul into being productive and making it happen. Awesome job sir. All the best to you and your family.
Incredible rig my friend!!!!.. I think everyone should have a welding rig with a crane...I am a hobby welder and I have to rebuild a Miller bobcat to get it back to like new ...Keep up the great work..I should have been a welder instead of wasting most of my life in school....-John
@@KC-7mm thanks friend ! It’d definitely been an awesome journey coming up on my 3rd full year. My wife and daughters has a ton of work invested into this business as I do so it definitely takes the whole family to keep it going :)
Got my truck from Nichols fleet they do a great job.. love your rig for a mobile welder fabber you got it all but for a field mechanic lol lot more room to be used my brother
@@ozzmann3217 thanks brother ! And I 100% agree if it’s a full time mechanic bed I’d say minimum 14 ft bed should be used :) . A 11-12ft bed just doesn’t have enough room for full time wrenching and diesel work
Hahaha “with out led lights” -- there have been many nights I have been out there holding a flashlight for him to organize things for the next day ahead lol
I agree totally with your comment of the reels...I was a Rig owner/operator pipeline welder for 40 yrs and just recently retired going on a year now . I dealt with Aluma reel before they ever came to the states and I had to go through customs to gett my skid and reel sutup from them since they began in Canada. Randy Ballard out in Texas is the guy I last dealt with since they now stock and sell products from the USA.
@@bjorker40 Randy for sure top notch , and their reels are worth every penny ! Congrats on your retirement hand :) and thanks for taking your time out to check our rig out .
Been following you for over a year, even have the green and yellow hat! Happy for you man! I love crisp service trucks and yours is at the top, and I’m sure your work portrays that!
Nickols Fleet great crew to work with 👍👍 Beautiful setup love the miller pipepro we have an 800 mounted on a IMT Dominator 4 body with 14K lb crane for the earth moving equipment mechanic truck and love every single aspect of the truck. And we will never buy an another truck with out an EnPak we tried them when Miller first introduced them and we were immediately impressed and sold. Great Job 👍👍
Thanks! And I agree they are great people for sure. Glad to hear good things about the enpak - it’s already come in so much use for me the few days I’ve had it
I'm very OCD about my service trucks and tools & equipment set ups. I feel like I always over exagerate or over do every thing I do it is just the way I am , I feel like I can't help it lol . Looks like your more OCD Than I am , I'm not alone anymore. Amazing set up ,if this set doesn't satisfy your craving for excellence nothing will Lol. Enjoy and God bless you !
Man we appreciate the love ! And I don’t understand how yall can stand that cold weather up there ! I started freezing as soon as I seen the word Canada 😂😂
That is one slick truck! Just dragged my service rig out of field a month ago for $1000. She’s gonna need a bunch of work but it will all be the way I want it. I’m probably still a few years out from breaking out but I’m taking the steps one at a time.
That’s right man ! We slowly fix my one ton up a little bit at a time before we broke out ❤ . Would love for you to keep us updated on your journey bud
What was the rigging brand that you said the lifting straps came from? Also, phenomenal rig! When I outgrow my ol 02 chevy 3500hd it'll be into a custom built rig with the same sentiment you built this one with. Hope you continue to prosper!
@@ljkck3578 they did chop down a factory tail gate , but I was just pointing out how neat of a job they did that you couldn’t even tell it was modified
Beautiful, only thing I would change is the vice not in front of the welder if you lots of grinding and prepping on that vice , that welder sucks I all up And destroys everything inside makes a mess of the machine inside
Very thought out, efficient build! Only thing I can foresee is that you’ll be adding a permanent job box to the bed, if you haven’t already, because you’re already out of room. Believe me, I have a 14’ low-profile bed that’s had a temporary job box in it since the day I loaded the tools on it in 2006. You can never build a big enough truck or shop in this line of work.
😂lol man ant that the truth ! I’m going to stay more focused on my welding side of the business so we got it pretty well all set up for that , but I’m hoping to add a second truck and would love it to be a 14 ft mechanic bed set up and put someone in it to turn wrenches and also tear stuff down and I can swing through and for the welding work ❤
If your talking about the hydraulic pump in my right side cabient , I use it and a 60 to 100 ton pulling ram to remove pins , press bushings and help bend metal .
@@JohnSmith-lv8xk I’m sure it would have if I plumb up external fittings off the enpak ? But there’s times I’m not even remotely close to the truck so having an electric pump is more ideal .
Yeah I thought it would look cleaner and I'll pull a trailer if i need to bring materials so i wasnt too concerned about the bed space but we actaully atill have quite a bit of bed space left.
Gave you a sub from Upstate New York. Get an extra set of brushes for that welder. Keep them in the glove box. About 80 dollars. You will thank me later

What process are ypu changing to go from carbon arc gouging to stick welding? It should just be a change in amperage.
Check out the miller pipe pro 400 it has multiple settings from stick, carbon arc , non flux , flux , 7018 and 6010 settings .
On my smaller 302 airpak machine it only had stick tig and mig settings so I’d swap over to stick for gouging on it
Why do you need the hydraulic pump, when you have the Enpak ??
What did it cost 500k ??
If your talking about the hydraulic pump in my right side cabient , I use it and a 60 to 100 ton pulling ram to remove pins , press bushings and help bend metal .

Does the Enpak not generate enough pressure ?

Gotcha, I don't ask to be annoying, there is likely something I am missing.
Been itching to see this! Beautiful rig! I had been wondering if the Enpaks could be mounted down in the body instead of up top.
